My Repairman

It was great. He did everything he said he would and we didn't have to schedule another service date to replace the broken part.

Arrived on time, went right to work, diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately and had the right parts to fix it immediately--cost was very reasonable for what was done. Polite serviecman (george), a very good experience. I would certainly use them again.

I have had My Repairman come to my house three times. The first time my fridge/freezer temp was up. George Jr. came to look, but he was not sure if it was thermostat or heater/defrost element, so no repair done. This was four or five months ago. A couple months later the dryer stopped drying. George Jr. came again and fixed it fast. Response time was great, like one day. Then in Jan., freezer problem came back. George Sr. came, diagnosed both thermostat and heater had failed. Had to order part from Maytag, so did a temp fix to buy a few days. Came back the following week and completed the repair. Pricing is very fair, the part was 150, labor just 100. They do respond quickly, and they do good work for a good price.

I had to take a day off work, which cost me 8 hrs of PTO, because of the time frame they gave me. The repairman came in the middle of the time frame. He lifted and banged the lid closed a few times, took the front panel off, lifted the cover off the back of the machine where the dials are and it started working. He didn't know what was wrong, but said it may have been a loose wire. I paid him the service charge, but there was no repair charge because he didn't do anything. He did say the work was guaranteed, and I could call back if it stopped spinning again, and they would come back out. He said I would not be charged a service fee if they had to come back again. It stopped spinning after three washes. I called, spoke to "George" who told me he didn't care that I would have to take another day off, they didn't come after hours unless they charged $120 for it. It made sense to me that since the repairman had not fixed the problem the first time, they could create an excellent customer service recovery. He was not very nice about it, or even apologetic that my washer wasn't fixed. He just seemed to care about how much it would cost him out of pocket to come back to my house after my work or a Saturday. He even said something about not being able to afford to come out unless I paid the after hours fee. This company had a high Angie's list rating, so I expected excellent service. Many other repair services have hours til 7pm or Saturday am, and I have scheduled another service to come out when I don't have to take the time off. If George is so broke that he can't take care of the customers who have used his service, maybe he could make more money if he were more flexible about his schedule. If he is the owner, maybe he could come out himself and it wouldn't cost him anything except his time.

Ihad a great experience. The service call was 45$. George identified the problem on my washing machine as a circuit board had gone out. The part was close to 300$. He did not pressure me to make the repair. He told me the pro's and con's of repair or buying a new washer. That evening, I researched the part cost, could I do it myself, was it worth the repair...etc. I decided the next day to make the repairs. They came out that afternoon and repaired the machine. Excellent service and honest workers.

Everything went exactly like we wanted it to.

Called the company on Friday afternoon, they said first appointment available was Monday morning. Company called backa little later and techs arrived in 30 minutes. Diagnosed and fixed refridgerator in about an hour. The service was good, price was fair and I would use them again.

Repairman came in 2 days, diagnosed the problem. He had the part the next day and came to fix the dishwasher. We were very happy with the price and the service.

They came same day, temporarily fixed my problem (by resetting the dishwasher front panel), and gave me good advice (replace my old washer instead of paying for a repair). FWIW, George could have told me over the phone to try the panel reset and charged me for a bit of time, but I understand that's not always the best move for the service provider.

I was very satisfied with both the price and quality of the work. They fixed our oven just in time for our Christmas baking.

They diagnosed the back up refrigerator problem very quickly and replaced a faulty electrical part. They checked out the lighting problem on the kitchen refrigerator and determined the problem was a faulty wiring harness which had to be ordered and gave us an estimated time to obtain the part. They received the replacement part when promised, returned and repaired the kitchen refrigerator.

"Mr Repairman" called me back in a timely manner. They were courteous both on the phone and in person. My repair required a second trip but they responded quickly to come back out and did not charge me for the second trip. My dryer is working well and I am very happy with their service. The cost was very reasonable for the amount of time he spent. I plan to call them again if I need another appliance repair.

This company saved me from buying a new stove! Three of the four burners on my gas stove would not adjust down to the simmer flame level. I read the manual and still was not able to find the screws to make the adjustments. When the technician arrived he went to work and was not able to find the adjustment screws either. He also read my manual and still could not figure it out. However, he never gave up! He called another technician in the company and was able to make the adjustments! He even showed me where the screws were hidden so that if the problem happens again I would be able to fix it myself. While repairing the stove my wife and I explained to him how the oven was not cooking evenly. He was also able to adjust that as well and once again showed me how to do it. The technician was very professional and did an outstanding job which I greatly appreciate. I have had no problems since with the stove or the oven. I will definitely call My Repairman again for any appliance repairs I may need. The service was great, the price was right and the technician was very professional. I am a very satisfied customer and highly recommend My Repaiman!

The service coordinator arranged an appointment for the next morning and told us the serviceman would call 30 minutes prior to the appointment. As promised, the serviceman called which gave us time to get our dog outside. When he arrived he and his helper wiped their feet before entering and were very courteous (which my elderly Mother appreciated). He listened attentively to her issues and proceeded to troubleshoot the problem. He re-positioned the sensor and adjusted the thermostat as much as possible and told us that it was functioning properly within a few degrees. Also, should the oven begin to heat insufficiently again, he advised us that, due to the age of the appliance, a replacement thermostat would be difficult to find and probably expensive. We appreciated his candor. Great service call from start to finish.

Although the technican showed up on time the first day, he said there was a valve leaking on the fridge and he had to order a part. When he gave me the cost of repairing the dishwasher, it was too much and I decided to just purchase another dishwasher. I still had to pay for the service call for the dishwasher. The next day he was supposed to bring the part but got hung up at the warehouse or wherever the part was to be purchased. He arrived late, installed the part, I paid him for the part and he left. Later that day my wife noticed the fridge was still leaking. We called them back out and now they said there was a whole in the drip pan. Of course then they said the valve that was replaced was bad and would have caused me problems anyway. They could not get a new one, so he had to repair the old one. I was not too happy with the length of time it took or that it ended up in a repair of a part rather than a replacement.

Alex arrived and got to my dryer right away, before he left, he checked and double checked my dryer's performance.

I used My Repairman for a refrigerator repair recently on the Northeast side of San Antonio. They make appointments for this side of town on Tues and Thurs for service calls. The diagnosed the problem on Thursday and had to order parts. The parts arrived 8 days later on Friday and the repairs were completed the following Tuesday. Although it took 12 days to repair, George was pleasant to deal with and the technician was knowledgable , quick, and efficient. I don't believe the company had much control of when the parts arrived, but that was the only issue with this company. Otherwise, I would recommend Mr. Repairman for the quality service they did provide!

The repairman was punctual, explained possibilities of what could be wrong with my stove, found the problem, gave me options of repair/replacement. The repairman made sure I was comfortable with all work that was being done and took his time explaining everything. A great experience overall.

My refrigerator was not cooling. I chose My Repairman from the list and called at about 8:15 a.m.. They were able to come at about 12:00 and finish by 1:15. The technician(George) helped me unload the freezer. He found the problem immediately, replaced the part, blew out a water line, and offered to replace the food. I wanted to clean it good so I declined that service! George was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I would highly recommend the company again.

Everything was wonderful from first contact to repair.
