My Repairman

Alex was on time and very cordial. He explained everything that he found and what the options were to repair it. Also the person I spoke to when I called to make the appointment was very sweet. She got us an appointment right away.

Our Samsung refrigerator was leaking water into the pantry tray and below it. George, from My Repairman, came out to fix it. He had recently replaced several water reservoirs and diagnosed that as the problem. A week later the refrigerator was leaking water again. The day that I reported the problem, George came back out. He talked several technicians who told him that if the reservoir was not defective it was probably the drain line. George issued me a refund on the part that was installed, and did not charge me additional labor. Although he could not resolve the clog that day, he came out the next day and fixed the problem. Each time I called the office, the person answering the phone was very polite and pleasant. I was able to get the technician out that day, which was important. Although I was expecting the part to come in sooner than it did, and I was rather disappointed when it leaked again, George's attitude and that the problem was corrected without additional cost, eased my frustration. George acted very professionally, and made sure that the shelves and refrigerator were put back to my satisfaction. He admitted his error in the diagnosis, refunded the money for the unnecessary part, and resolved the problem without extra cost to me. I will use My Repairman again for large appliance repairs, and would recommend them to my friends.

The job was completed in a timely and competent manner. I was very pleased with their service. They were able to help get our refrigerator working again without much trauma. Both Georges (father and son) worked together like well trained team!

I thought the cost of the part was high, though GE may control that issue. The work was done properly, but I was annoyed that the guy had to order the part & I had to set up another appt.

George and his son arrived on time and performed general maintenance on my refrigerator. Cleaned, inspected filter and provided advice on keep it running in tip-top shape. Great guys and I'll be using them in the future.

My Repairman was honest, thorough and spoke with us about refrigerators while he was here. The repair was a little expensive, but I guess that is what to expect when needing to replace a part to make something work.

I was initially impressed with this company- I had a Samsung dishwasher and refrigerator that I needed repaired. I called My Repairman and they were very honest with me- they said that they couldn't fix the refrigerator because Samsung refrigerators are very difficult to repair. They did say that they could come and repair the dishwasher. I didn't initally have my clothes washer on their repair list, but the next day it started making some noise, so I called them to add it to the dishwasher. They had a repairman come out and fix the washer and dishwasher. He was able to fix the clothes washer. In looking at the dishwasher, the technician broke the hose. He stated that he would order a new one and come back out. This was just before Thanksgiving. After 2 weeks, we hadn't heard from the company so called. They said that the part was in and we scheduled a time for the repair. The technician came out again and installed the hose and performed some work on the machine and stated that it was fixed. Later that afternoon, the machine was not working, showing the same error code as before. We called and left several messages, but they weren't returned. I figured that it was the holidays, so the company might not have had full staff. When I called today, I was told that no messages had been received. The owner George then came on the phone to tell me that they don't fix Samsung dishwashers because the parts were too expensive but that they went ahead and replaced the hose for me anyway- the hose that their technician broke initially. When I asked him why this was the first time since contacting them in November that they were stating they didn't fix Samsung dishwashers, he could not tell me why. Not in any other conversations- calls to the store or with the technician, who said that it was the refigerators that were hard to fix, not the dishwashers- was it ever mentioned that they didn't have the capability to fix my dishwasher. They mispresented their services.

The dispatcher/scheduler was very helpful and answered all my questions ahead of time. Issue with stove was fixed that day with a very reasonable charge in the end. Happy with MyRepairman!

Alex arrived right on time. I found him to be courteous and professional. He went right to work after hearing my concerns and quickly diagnosed the problem (a malfunctioning water valve). He even had the required replacement part in his truck. The repair took less than 30 minutes. He went above and beyond by noticing a problem with how my dryer vent was positioned. He adjusted it so the ing my dryer vent hose to make the dryer work not work as hard when drying. I'll gladly recommend this company!

Performed service call on front loading Whirlpool washer. I thought a shock had broken, but Alex said it was just out of balance and got the machine running smoothly! I was impressed that he didn't try to sell me something we didn't need! I had used them to service our leaking refrigerator and their tech finally took care of that problem after another company failed to fix it!

It was great. They were on time and were able to repair the dishwasher quickly.

They were very prompt, we did not have to wait a week like we would have to with most other companies. They were able to get to us either the next day or within 48 hours. The part they needed for the washing machine they had to order, they were able to get the part faster than expected. When you call you always get a person and never have to press any buttons to get an actual person on the line.

Called on a Wednesday afternoon to schedule an appointment and was able to secure an appointment for the next morning from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. I was told the repairman would call 30 minutes before he would arrive and did receive a call from the office that he would be there in 30 minutes and to confirm my address. Repairman showed up within 20 minutes of receiving the call and was ready to perform the work. He reviewed my washing machine and even though he knew what was wrong, he went through all of the machine codes to make sure nothing else wrong came up. The problem ended up being an user error (using too much HE soap). He showed me the correct amount to HE detergent too use for washing clothes. While he was at the house, I asked him a question about our fridge (items on the top level was freezing) and he explained what was wrong and gave a suggestion on how to fix it. So far so good. I highly recommend this company and will use them again for any appliance issue.

Needing a repairman for my electric dryer, I went to my good friend...Angie's List, where I found My Repairman who was highly rated. When I called, I was impressed from the beginning. Professionalism and good service is sometimes hard to find, but I found just that. When I stated that I needed a repairman for my dryer and for my oven door, I was told that someone could be there the next day...YAY. The next day, Alex called to tell me he was on his way. When he got here, I quickly found the problem with my dryer...a worn pulley and front bearings. He adjust both for a short-term fix, but advised that they really need to be replaced. He would need to order the parts and provided a quote but assured me that the current day charges would be deducted from the price quoted for replacement of the parts. I was impressed with that. Because the dryer is 6 years old, I've decided to replace the dryer rather than repair, but I was pleased that Alex and My Repairman gave me that option. Alex also looked at my oven door and found that the door was actually closing properly. Another star in Alex's cap. There was no charge for that...and no attempt to charge me for work that wasn't needed.

Excellant service, We knew that it would take 1, 3 or 7 days to get the part. We would have liked a call back to tell us when to expect the install of the new part. Both men were professional, the Son thought he had to move our refrigerator to complete the job, and did so. We did not care for that and in the end the refrig did not need to be moved. He just did not remember where the screws went in.

We are very satisfied with the services of George and "My Repairman" company. Our refridgerator would not cool as the temp would rise to a high degree which would eventually harm our food. Quickly we went to Angie's list for Appliance repair and located My Repairman. We called and talked with Linda who was very helpful. She understood our problem and urgency. She called a repairman, George, who later contacted us and set an appointment for the afternoon. George called prior to coming. He was punctual, professional, courteous and explained the problem and how he would repair it. George had an assistant who was very helpful also. We recommend George and this company for large appliance repair. So far, all is working properly and we are satisfied.

We have always been very satisfied with is work. Alex is extremely efficient and helpful. He is very honest and upfront about what services need to be done.

The dryer suddenly stopped heating. Although it continued to tumble and work in general, the clothes were not getting dry because there was no heat. I called on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and reported this to the intake person at My Repairman. She said that she could schedule a service for the next day between 9 and 1 or 1 and 5. I asked for the earlier time and also asked, if possible to be on the earlier side of that time frame as I had somewhere to be by 1:00. She said she could not make a promise, but that she would make a note. Alex called a little after 10 am and said he was on his way. He arrived around 10:30, was very courteous, quickly assessed the problem and told me that the heater coils had burned out, but that everything else on my machine looked very good. He wasn't sure if he had the part with him, but went to check the van. He came back with the part and a written explanation of the price for the part and labor. The cost of the trip was applied to the total cost. Alex was completely finished by 11:00 and the dryer is back to working fine. I will definitely call them next time I need appliance repair.

George was awesome and knew what the problem was immediately and got a replacement part rebuilt since this part is no longer manufactured. Really like this company!

I admit that this was our second choice since we started at the top of Angie's List's ratings. Since the first choice never returned our call, We contacted My Repairman at 4pm. They answered the phone! Someone came out the next day during the requested time window, calling about 25 minutes before arriving. George was clean, effective, professional, and friendly. In 20 minutes he diagnosed the problem (water pump) and ordered the part. He came out the next day, on time, to do the repair and was finished in 10 minutes. He provides a 90 day warranty, but we hope we never have to use it. We are happy.
