Description of Work: Examined appliances and gave me a detailed, honest analysis, actually recommending that I do NOT repair, but instead replace the old appliances--I really appreciate that honesty!

Description of Work: Everything about this business is exceptional beginning with the receptionist with whom I spoke on the phone when I called to make an appointment. Friendly and helpful, she made me feel she and her organization were happy to have my business! When the two technicians arrived -- one an older journeyman, the other probably a very competent apprentice -- they were polite, affable, and let me explain what I wanted done. When they found my problem which required a replacement part, they gave me all the available options and explained the result of each. Feeling very good about their performance, I thrust upon them a number of other small issues. They responded to all of those, even though they weren't an original part of the service call and put all of my concerns to rest. I earnestly and sincerely recommend this business!

Description of Work: Website down as of 25 Sep 2010. Have always had great service from them. Need washing machine repair but phone doesn't answer, website not found.

Description of Work: Telephoned on 8-17-2010 about repair to standard size Kenmore Refrigerator purchased January 1999. My Repairman declined to book repair call in Spring Branch, TX 78070 - about 20 mi.N on Hwy 281.

Description of Work: My Repairman - George Estrada - was a great find on Angie's list. Needed to either repair or get rid of infamous Whirlpool Calypso washer. Had to replace master control panel and we thought we needed to replace motor control panel but on his advice, we deferred the latter. He was experienced, knowledgable, personable and professional. Repair limited to only what was essential and cost less that we anticipated. If we need an appliance repair in the future - he will be our first call and I will recommend him to other family members and friends.

Description of Work: I needed my oven repaired. George was prompt & found the problem. He repaired the oven but did say it may not be permanent. He gave me recommendations for future repairs/new purchase.

Description of Work: I thought that my refrigerator coils were frozen because it didn't seem to be getting cold. Myrepairman came out the same day my son called and told him there was nothing wrong but the coils needed cleaned and he did that. The total charge was $45 but he took off the discount for Angie's List customers and it was only $35.

Description of Work: Refrigerator was leaking and he diagnosised the problem right away. He was able to unclog and clean 2 lines. After cleaning up the mess from the repair, he allowed me to thoroughly clean the floor space where the refrigerator sits after which time he then moved the refrigerator back in place.

Description of Work: Our ice maker wasn't working and I called George - going by the Angie's List reccomendations He responded very quickly and came to the house that afternoon. He assessed the situation and fixed the problem, we are back in business, ice galore. Living in Texas, ice is major and so was My Repairman. As a new member, we thank Angie's List.

Description of Work: Our dishwasher (2 years old) was not cleaning - seemed that there wasn't enough water pressure. Called My Repairman and they came to the house within 2 hrs. George diagnosed the problem as very bad lime build-up (we have very hard water) which clogged the outflow of water and caused pressure back-up to reduce cleaning. He worked on it for 2 hrs and gave me some excellent advice on how to keep it running smoothly and efficiently.

Description of Work: The oven had quit working. The repair man came in and solved the problem.
