Description of Work: Installed new room and closet, additionally connected pre-existing media room. Long process and constant contact required with project manager. Finished product looks good, getting there is a chore. Many wasted days of no/little work being performed. Read contract thoroughly before hand and ask lots of questions before any work begins. Finally, make sure you understand the payment schedule, that is the only time the project manager will definitely show up on site before trying to isolate you to ask for a check (or draw) as they call it. Also, pay attention to all work being performed and ensure its up to code. I recommend this builder as long as you the consumer do your due diligence during the process; it's your money, not theirs until the job is complete!

Description of Work: Our meeting with Keith Moehle to discuss our home remodeling project was eye-opening to say the least. My wife and I hired an architect to draw up plans for what we wanted, and we had sent these to Mr. Moehle before our meeting. When Mr. Moehle arrived he was not at all happy to find that our architect was present to represent us. Then it became evident that Mr. Moehle had made little effort to even look at the plans we had sent. Instead he proceeded to tell us about the $800,000 and $900,000 projects he had going, insinuating that our low six-figure budget renovation was small potatoes for his company. Then apparently off the top of his head he quoted us a figure twice what our architect had estimated. And when we seemed taken aback by his quote he questioned our commitment, asking us if we were "really serious" or just wasting his time. He ended the meeting by saying that he would bid on our remodel ONLY if we would pay him a $1500 non-refundable fee for his time. And when he left he didn't even bother to take with him the pricing plans we had emailed him. | |Now I've bought a lot of cars in my time, and I've been hustled by a lot of salesmen of varying degrees of proficiency, but I truly cannot remember one with, in my opinion, this amount of hubris and arrogance. As our architect later noted, KM Builders may provide an excellent service, but it would appear they are only interested in high profit projects. If your remodel is not in the high six-figures, which apparently is what is necessary to command their respect and attention, I would strongly suggest you not bother contacting this company. |

Description of Work: I wanted some deck repair. Keith came out and looked at the job. He wanted to do all kinds of other work other than the deck. He said that he was going to get a quote out to me. That was five weeks ago and I still have not heard anything from them. I even called the office and they said they would get back in touch with me and have not heard anything yet.

Description of Work: Took the kitchen down to the walls, then removed one if the walls! All new cabinets, granite counters, painting, new lighting system, new wood-look tile flooring, removal of popcorn ceiling, new garage door and pantry door, as well as installation of new French doors to patio. Complete redesign!! They were very helpful in creating a design that fits me, and the workers were, to a person, helpful, polite, and professional. I love my new kitchen. Not the cheapest but certainly super quality!

Description of Work: KM built a beautiful patio roof. Unfortunately it started leaking 1 month after it was completed. Within an hour of my call to KM, Victor, the roofing supervisor was here. He said as soon as it stops raining they will repair it. We are also in the process of a full kitchen remodel. Everything is great. Project manager keeps me informed on who will be here & what will be done each day. Workers are courteous & keep everything as clean as can be expected.

Description of Work: Replaced three doors into the attic, insulated the attic. | The workers were good but the planning and supply of materials was very slow and often the wrong things. What they said should take 2 weeks ended up taking 4 months. The Salesman and owner seemed very knowledgeable but they did not do the day to day follow up on ordering the right doors etc. | The owner I think could be very good but he has gotten too big to oversee all the projects himself and his middle men are not as good as he would be supervising the actual work.

Description of Work: KM Builders replaced my existing roof after we had found there was a large amount of water damage to an inside room. They helped us to identify the root cause and made the repairs for us. Our home is 2 stories and we have a 9-12% slope which the roofers handled with ease. The entire process was completed in 2 days.

Description of Work: We are currently using KM builders for a kitchen remodel. So far everything is great. The project will start in a few months. Will rate them again after the project is complete.

Description of Work: KM did a kitchen remodel, installed hardword floors in family room, dining room & hallway, remodeled 2 bathrooms, repainted entire interior & recarpeted bedrooms, installed softwater unit, and recirculated hot water in master bath. They provided us with a huge truck to store our possessions during remodel. I couldn't ask for a better people to work with and have in my home! They became family & made were very trustworthy. My project grew larger as I kept wanting more as I saw what wonderful work they were doing. Keith and his team did a great job & I would highly recommend them. You can find cheaper, but if you want quality, go with KM. One thing that may be considered a negative is that there is an upfront fee for their team to give an estimate when they bring all their trades together to access your project. This will come off your bill if you use KM. If you don't, it is nonrefundable. My son was given an estimate that was way above his budget and he then declined services, and he lost $500. This was a negative.

Description of Work: I received a quote for a reroof, but had to call asking for it 3 times. Didn't seem interested in performing the work.

Description of Work: KM Builders remodeled our upstairs master bathroom. They raised our roof line above our garage to increase the size of our old master bath by 120 square feet. The entire old master bath was gutted and replaced by a modern one with a granite countertop, all new whirlpool bath, walk-in shower, new toilet and a 10 x 8 walk in closet.

Description of Work: They cleaned our coils, vacuumed the A/C closet, and hosed down the outside A/C unit.
