Junk Out

Description of Work: The office scheduler (Nicole?) was a delight to work with and went to great lengths to coordinate with my calendar. However, when the workers arrived (late) and we reviewed the scope of the project, that's where it went downhill! YES, I had a dreadful mess -- that's why I hired a service!! And, although I had contracted for extra services above the Angie's List deal I purchased, they obviously REALLY did not want to tackle that project. They did an "adequate" job on the items included in the "Big Deal" and then hemmed and hawed about the additionally-contracted service. They said the weather was too cold (understandable) and would be back in a "few days" when it warmed up to complete my request...this was on FEBRUARY 16th and I have not heard ONE WORD from them since and it's now March 31st!!! When they proved completely uninterested in earning this extra income, I went with somebody else (for MUCH LESS than the Junk Out quoted price) to perform the exact same work I had discussed with the Junk Out rep prior to their team even arriving. I did not "sugar-coat" the severity or extent of the job, but apparently the Junk Out "field team" are not prepared or interested in dealing with anything nasty or "junky." I do NOT recommend this company and will be getting any future service elsewhere!

Description of Work: used them on a special deal. I emailed company and advised I have a small boat and trailer i wanted hauled away. I was not told they could not take the boat until the day they were scheduled to arrive. They did remove other items I had and left the area clean.

Description of Work: They came early and worked quickly, hauling away bathroom remodeling junk and a few other things-bbq cart,etc. for an extra $50. Great service,but making it very clear exactly what $69 hauls away would make for a better customer relationship. I had to call and ask how much would be carried away for $69.

Description of Work: Provider called me to indicated they would be arriving aboaut 30 minutes laster than scheduled which I appreciated. Once they arrived the staff was very helpful with removing broken furniture, electronic items from my garage and home. Was not expecting the high price for final billing versus quoted price when initially scheduled appointment. Next time I will obtain a better understanding regarding billing before they arrive.

Description of Work: Junk Out came and removed a pile of random debris that we had on our lot. They showed up right on time and got to work immediately. He did talk to us about the amount of "junk" that we had, and apparently we had more than the allotted amount. He told us that he could take it all, but that there would be an extra charge. We chose to deal with the excess later.

Description of Work: The crew showed up on time and was quick, efficient and super helpful. I was able to rid my garage of extra junk in addition to the pile in my back. I will definitely use them again.

I definitely got a bargain has they nicely took more than I thought was required. Since I am remodeling, they will be my "go-to" people for anything like this again.
