Jon Wayne Service Company

No stars. I requested an appointment and was given one for Monday from 12-4. Close to 2, I get a text, they are tide up with the morning job and they might be late. I was asked to reschedule. I responded I could wait since I took off from work. Another text, I could wait but there were no guarantees. I accepted to reschedule for Friday from 8-12. At 11, I reached out. No answer until almost 3 to tell me the same thing. Tide up with another job and I’m there thinking I was the morning job. Another work day wasted and an another offer to reschedule. Since I declined to wait and reschedule, he lets me know he will make a notation I did not take the reschedule and will add $50 discount to my account. Let him know it is not needed. I chose this company based on the reviews. I have no idea how they got that if they cannot even make it to the appointments. Unreliable at best. I will not use them or recommend them. That is unless you need a couple of days just hanging around your house.

They need to replace the drain system. Still under warranty. Repairs will be next week.

They were very professional and very efficient! The representative that came was very helpful and informative. He helped me figure out the best price that didn’t break my pockets! I didn’t think that was possible. Definitely will be a returning customer to replace my other AC unit.

Jeremy came to give an estimate. Let me know that he had the part in his truck, told me the cost, and then replaced the faucet. He was very professional and courteous. Jeremy had me check the replaced faucet to see that it worked and to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I'm very pleased with the efficiency and work.

Mile's from Jon Wayne electrical arrived with his own floor mat to wipe his shoes down in case we didn't have our own floor mat, amazing! Little efforts like that speak volumes and I appreciate that so much since keeping my home clean is important to me. He also had clean new booties to wear inside as well as kept a mask on the entire time. Very kind and polite. This visit was for a quote only but we will likely be hiring them. Art came out and diagnosed the problem and was very professional and explained the options. Took about 2 days to get the parts and he returned and had the AC up and running. This is the 2nd time I’ve used Jon Wayne and am extremely happy with the service.

I had a problem with my AC and called them for a service appointment. John Wayne has a good reputation, so I chose to call them and they were quick to respond. The tech who came to my residence was very friendly and professional, however, he seemed more like a sales rep than a technician. After a few hours and $950 worth of work, he indicated that the HVAC system was not repairable. He created a quote for various options to install a new system. I had previously researched average costs for replacement of a 5 ton / 16 SEER system, which averaged approximately $9-10K for a reputable company with reliable brands. The first option the tech provided was for $40,600, which was a little surprising. He offered several options, with the cheapest being $10,700 for the lowest quality equipment and least warranty. He indicated that the primary difference between John Wayne and other companies is the quality and training of the employees. He also used typical sales techniques, such as “why would you feel different tomorrow” when I indicated that I’d prefer to think about the decisive overnight. During research online, I saw that John Wayne uses Amana products, which are a little more expensive but highly rated and manufactured here in Texas. I purchased a system one echelon higher than the lowest priced system for $13,700, still well-above what I was prepare to pay; however, the tech indicated that they would waive the outstanding $950 bill if I purchased the system and they would be able to install the next day. The next morning, four techs arrived, all pleasant and professional; however, only one appeared to be a trained technician, while the other three appeared to be labor for assisting and conducting menial tasks, such as cleaning the ducts. Within the first hour, two of them accidentally shattered several sconces on the chandelier in my dining room when a piece of equipment fell while cleaning a duct. They are still here in my house installing, but I truly feel like paid too much. Again, I don’t doubt that they are a solid company, but feel like was pressed by a salesman rather than a technician when I needed an urgent problem addressed. I believe I could’ve purchased just as good of a system, maybe better, from a reliable company for a few thousand dollars less.

Our technician arrived within the service window, and quickly diagnosed the problems with our sinks. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and did a thorough job in fixing our problems in the most cost effective way. We have used Jon Wayne on several occasions for plumbing repairs and have always been very impressed with their professionalism and respect for budgetary concerns in presenting several options to fix issues. We would recommend Jon Wayne as your “go to” service company!

The Jon Wayne team was fantastic from the time I called to schedule an appointment through to resolving an issue I had with my 27 year old air conditioning unit. My tech even went to get a part to make everything perfect. Richard went above and beyond on a hot and humid day.

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW!! This is a review for a company that I once held in good regard. I purchased 2 climate units from them years ago for a total of over $25,000 dollars and signed up for a very expensive "Rescue Club" annual service agreement. No problems until now. They happily accepted my money while my unit was working. Their web site advertises "Same day Service" and "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" and their phone waiting message assures "Priority" service. Well, i'm in the process of remodeling my home in preparation for selling. The A/C unit broke down and my real estate agent called them to come out and service the unit on Tuesday 6/29/21. She said she would wait for them, they said they wouldn't come until the following day. How is that "same day service" or "priority" services ESPECIALLY for a member of their "Rescue Club"? So she waited the following day, and I get a phone call saying that they weren't coming that day either (Wednesday). I was very upset and told them to JUST COME AND FIX IT. So, they called yesterday (7/1/21) and said they were being held up and would be there before 4 pm. My agent waited for them, no arrival. I showed up at 5:30 and called Jon Wayne and said, where are they? They put me on hold and then said no one in their scheduling department was answering the phone. I told them I had been waiting for 3 days for their "Priority" and "Same day service", and to just forget it. I would have to find another company to come and fix it. Today (7/2/21) I called and demanded they refund my service contract money for this year and cancel the contract. The agent said she would "have to look into it". I told her that I took that as a "no". So I waited 3 days for their Priority/Same day service/100% satisfaction guarantee and got nothing in return, my remolding crew wasted 3 days, and I will have to pay another contractor to fix, what was THEIR obligation to repair. I recommend you stay away from this company, empty promises and guarantees.

Exceptional service. Johnathan was a great technician, explaining everything he did and why and never tried to sell me a product or service until I asked about a maintenance program. I've tried several A/C services but I won't need to anymore. Thank you, Jon Wayne!

Nathan Cavazos was my Jon Wayne Certified Service Advisor today. He performed a Precision Tune up for both my upstairs and downstairs AC units. This was his first service call to my house and I was thoroughly impressed from the moment he courteously introduced himself. His respect for my property and all the while he was working inside my home was greatly appreciated, He spent three hours inspecting and servicing my two units. His meticulous attention to the tiniest of details was truly outstanding. It looked as though he was working on his very own systems the way he approached the entire tune up process. He also ensured everything was neatly cleaned up after he completed his work. Nathan totally gained my trust and confidence in hie ability and determination to maintain my AC systems in top working condition for as long as possible. True professionalism and superior technical skills, like he displayed, are all the more reasons why I chose Jon Wayne as my HVAC Service Company 10 years ago and why I fully intend to stay with them in the future. A huge shout of thanks to Nathan and the Jon Wayne Company for their outstanding service! PS: Though the cost of this semi-annual precision tune up was $610, the entire cost was covered by my Jon Wayne Rescue Club Maintenance plan that I pay $29.90 monthly. This Rescue Plan plan takes all the worry out of maintaining my AC units, while at the same time ensuring they remain in top working condition!

Robert was very good and very professional. Unfortunately, when we turned on the disposal while he was here, the loud noises coming from it that prompted our call were non-existent. Decided not to replace it.

Very well. The technician, Jackie Buck, was very knowledgeable and efficient. Did a very through inspection and tune up.

There were a few glitches but they fixed everything to code. I was very pleased with the overall work. The journeyman electrician Robert is outstanding - he is a true professional. I would definitely hire them again.
