Had two additional plugs placed in the garage for garage door openers. TJ checked existing lines on ceiling lights as well. Gave me an estimate for replacing both 30 year old wall panels. Work area was cleaned up before they left.

I have used this company before. They are very reliable. It's a small company with a father and son working. I like this company. When they tell me they're coming, they come. Their work is excellent. They have done a number of things, including installing lights. Their price is reasonable.

Jones brothers came out prior to delivery of our swimspa to get the electrical wiring set up. Very professional, communicated well with what they were doing to prepare for the swimspa, and what they needed to do once the spa was in place. Thought the price was high, though I suppose all electrical service is pricey. Came back on the day the swimspa was delivered and were most helpful - they even helped the crane operators guide the spa into place. Hooked up the electrical components and said to fill the spa with water and should have power. Filled with water and had no power. Called the next morning (Saturday) just to let them know we didn't have power. John Jones came over that afternoon to figure out the problem. He worked on it though the problem seemed to be with the power panel inside the spa itself, not with their work. Talked to the spa mfg. to see what they recommended. Came out again Monday morning and continued to work on it and found a crossed wire in the spa's power panel. Corrected it and things worked fine. We were not charged additionally for them coming out on the weekend, and then again on Monday morning. We were so thankful that Mr. Jones stuck it out with us until he could figure out and fix the problem. A lesser company might have left us in "the lurch", pointing the finger to the spa company. I would highly recommend John Jones Electric Services to anyone needing electrical service. They went above and beyond, as far as we're concerned.

Office set up the service within a couple days. Telephone call was made to let me know they were on their way as scheduled. Great service, professional, family pride in the business. May not be the cheapest, but they may because they give repeat customer discounts on top of AL discount! Top notch company. Highest recommendation.

Overall great experience. My wife works from home, and her office is on the sunny side of the house - so i gets pretty hot as the day progresses. Oddly, the room didn't have a ceiling or even ceiling light (so the room tended to be hot throught the day, and quickly became dark as the sun set). We purchased a fan at home depot, but needed some help with installation, which led us to Angies list to find an electrician to take care of the job. Mr Jones and his company come with high marks (well deserved), so I called, and Mr Jones and his son came to the house in the evening and checked out the place and provided an estimate. Bada Bing, a week later he and his son came back, installed the fan/associated circuit and things have been much cooler ever since. Overall great job, very detail with measurement and placement of the new fan, and left the site cleaner than how it was when they arrived! I would hire Mr Jones' company again without hesitation and would recommend his company to my colleagues and friends/family.

Charges $49 just to come out and provide estimate. Will only waive the fee if you accept bid on the day they come out to give the bid and do the work at same time. Doing it this way forces you to be without $49 if you don't want them to do the work or you feel trapped to accept the bid to not lose the $49. Company must not be confident of getting work as they feel compelled to charge this one-way fee.

My 82 year old mother is always nervous when hiring service people,but T.J. put her right at ease...he was the nicest person. He was prompt,professional and patiently explained everything to my mother. T.J. diagnosed the problem with her light fixture and fixed it immediately. We have kept his number on the refrigerator and plan to use him again!

The fluorescent light leading to my garage went out a couple of days prior to leaving town for a couple of weeks. This light is desperately needed at night for passage into the garage and for use of the laundry room. Needing a quick repair, I called John Jones Elect. Co. but soon discovered they were booked until later in the following week. Upon hearing my story, they managed to squeezed me in for the next day. T.J. (the repairman), who was very friendly and professional, showed up the next morning and completed the work without any problems, leaving the work area cleaned and organized. Even though I have all wood and tiled floors, T.J. still insisted on wearing shoes covers since it was company policy. I will definitely use John Jones Elect. Svcs again if I have any electrical problems and would recommend them to all of my family and friends.

They are professional and good. They came in and found the problem. His work may be kind of pricey, but you get what you pay for. They are highly skilled people. I didn't have a problem with the price. He got the job done in a timely manner and it was done competently.

It was a small company and I liked them both very much. They were very nice, respectful and clean. They told me what was wrong. There was a problem with one of my electrical plugs that sparked always. I thought that it was going to be a major wiring issue, but it turned out to be a minor thing. He also put some new wiring and stuff in another room. He was an excellent electrician. The first time they worked on a ceiling fan, an overhead light in my garage and a number of things. The initially wrote the things that they were going to work on and gave me an estimate. However when they worked on it, it turned out to be more expensive than they thought. They did not charge me extra even though it took longer than they initially thought it was going to be. The price wasn?t cheap, but probably was fair and in line with other electricians. They cleaned up after themselves. I have recommended them to other people. I would certainly call them again if I needed any electrical work to be done.

They did a really good job of taking a look at what our needs were and they determined that the issue wasn't electric. It was a problem that was related to the hot tub. They just charged us for coming out and detecting the problem. They told us that we didn't have to replace the fuse which would have been expensive and I was going to do that. They told me not to do that and they told me that the problem wasn't with the circuits in the house. So, I called the hot tub guy and he found out that the motor in the hot tub was causing the problem. However, everything was taken care of, but the folks who came out from John Jones Electric did an outstanding job. The price that they charged seemed very reasonable considering the time and everything else. They check things out before they fix anything. They identify the problem first and then fix it. They could have told us something more and we probably would have based on their guidance. So, we felt that they were very honest and fair. They were professional and I would highly recommend them to others. I would definitely use their services in the future. I have their number listed and I would like to call them first when I have any electrical problems in the future.

We had a power surge early in October, and this ruined a computer, garage door opener, two phones. Using Angie's List, I located John Jones Electric and called them. John explained the benefits of a full-house surge protector and gave me an estimate. When he came for the installation, his estimate was accurate, and he was able to do the job with my current electrical box. All work was performed outside, and he did not need to turn off our electricity either. He left me the paperwork which included the warranty instructions and explained how the surge protector worked. Complete job took about an hour. All work was done according to local codes as well.

They were good. I honestly don't remember when they completed the job, but it was sometime last year. They were very experienced and did the job that needed to be done. They didn't give us an estimate ahead of time because they didn't know what they were looking for when we called them out. They were very professional. I guess the price they charged us was the going rate, but I don't know.

I was very pleased with their work. The young man that always comes out and does our electrical work is the owner?s son. He is very nice and considerate and what really caught me was that they did work in the garage and when they came in the house they put on rubber shoes so that they did nit dirty the house. I think that their prices are reasonable.

The electricians arrived on time,( I was notified when they were leaving for the house) Both wore shoe covers which they removed if they went back out to the truck. The total time they were here was about two hours, and the biggest job was the rewiring outside. Both electricians were friendly and personable, and seemed very knowledgeable. I would use them again, definitely.
