John Jones Electric

All aspects of my dealings with John Jones Electric were best in class - my initial call to make an appointment was returned within a few minutes, John and JT (father and son) showed up at the appointed time to review the required work and supplied an estimate, and then returned the following day to complete all the tasks. I was particularly impressed by the installation of the security lights - top notch materials, and care taken to conceal the conduit as much as possible. Both men were very polite and professional, and answered all questions I had while they were working. The only quibble I had was the price - after subtracting estimated material costs, I calculate I paid close to $200/hour for the labor, so for a day's work, I paid what takes me as a senior professional more than a week to earn.

A crew of two came in and, quickly and efficiently repaired the broken overhead switch. They even put on shoe covers so they wouldn't track anything across the kitchen floor.

It was all fixed in one visit. Required a circuit breaker replacement, shut off box replacement, GFI switch in attic.

They were prompt, competent, and careful to explain to me what needed to be done, what they were doing and any additional problems found. and patiently answered all my questions. Were pleasant to have around even though working hard all day in the summer heat. I use them for all my electrical issues.

This is the second time I have used John Jones electric. I love that Peggy answers the phone every time I call. I love that she returns my calls promptly. I love the quality of service that John Jones Electric provides along with the price. Both times I have used them the final cost of the services was lower than the original estimate. They do the work that needs to be done and don't add on unnecessary work to increase the bill. It really builds trust on my part. My daughter just bought an older home that needs electrical work. I told her to call John Jones Electric. That says something. I highly recommend.

The installation is excellent. Of course it had to be weather/water proof, important with electricity! the final installation looks great and the new LED floodlights make cooking in the dark fun and quality at the same time. Most important is that both John and TJ are wonderful people. Careful when the enter the house, courteous at every point. You would never be concerned with them in or around your home. I am sure they both learned from Peggy (wife and mother) who takes the calls and makes sure the "boys" respond accordingly. Overall, a great experience and we will use them and recommend them whenever there si something electrical needed.

When I called to schedule, my call was handled quickly and the appointment was scheduled to accommodate my needs. The appointment was set for between 10am-Noon. I was contacted at 9:45am that they were on their way to the house. They arrived promptly, diagnosed and offered me a fair price for the work. They completed the job to my satisfaction. Both gentlemen were very professional and courteous. I enjoyed speaking with them and they taught me what I needed to do in the future to make adjustments if I wanted to. I am very happy to have found this service through Angie's list. I will use them in the future.

They responded quickly that they do not do install or remodel work.

I had called an "electrician" off of Craigslist who recommended cutting into the sheet rock to diagnose my problem. I refused and had John Jones Electric come out instead. John and TJ were able to isolate my issue(s) in about an hour or so and had me back up and running. They could have given me the runaround since the problem would've been difficult to diagnose or tried to upsell me, but they didn't do that. I will absolutely call them again if I have electrical issues.

Mr. Jones & his son were courteous and professional and did an excellent job. The only reason that I did not give them an "A" on price is that I did not comparison shop and therefore do not know if their price was competitive or not. I would use them again without hesitation.

John Jones and his son TJ arrived as scheduled to replace our smoke and fire detectors. Not only did they install the detectors and test them, they provided a high level of education to my wife and me related to maintaining the product. They are PROFESSIONAL electricians in every sense of the word. They are EDUCATORS in their freely sharing important information they make clearly understandable. It was great! They cleaned up after themselves and put on shoe protective booties in the house. We just purchased a home that had so many electrical issues and they ironed them all out. took out old fans that were not braced and installed bracing and a new fan. Removed an old indoor ceiling fan that was installed outside. They fixed 2 outdoor lights, 2 indoor lights. fixed 3 outdoor plugs and my landscaping lights. great experience!

What a fantastic business experience! John and TJ were friendly, efficient and dedicated to doing the job right. They have the prices for most tasks preprinted in a binder, so you don't feel like there are going to be any surprises. Once the price is presented to you, that's the price you pay. At one point, TJ didn't like the solution he had come up with, so he re-did the work. Took about 30 minutes extra, but the job was done right and there was no extra hourly charge. The office called when they were on their way and made sure they had the right ladders for the job. They arrived in clean uniforms and a clean van, did the work and left the house just as clean as they found it. A great family owned business, and now I'll refer to them as " my electricians," John and TJ Jones.

He installed a new generator for me last year and did a super job. He worked very hard, and went above and beyond. He got the generator working wonderfully, and told me he would come back to service it the next year. He came back this year and gave it new oil and cleaned it all up. It's working like clockwork now. He was so nice and courteous that I didn't want him to leave!

I purchassed a deal from angie's list for $29.00 for toilet check up and plumbing inspection. They called me, made the appointment . Called the day before the appoiintment to advise they had someone in the area if I would be at home for them to go ahead and come by. I agreed. They showed up a short time later. The gentleman was very nice and when all was said and done, he replace a part in my toilet. Very quick, very professional. I kept his card so I could call them if I had any issues in the future. I would recommend them to anyone.
