Cut off valve broke during the night. Came within 15 minutes of my call. Very nice guys. Gave good advice and were quite professional. Overall experience was great. Price was reasonable.

Had a leak in front of our house near the garage. We called others to get estimates but they were giving us high minimums or chargin us service calls just to come out. We used JL Hearn Plumbing a few years back when our water boiler went out. They gave us a low estimate on the phone and didn't change the price although it was a tougher job than expected. Others who came for free estimates were quoting us more than $200 than the quote over the phone by JL Hearn. Back to the leak... They let us know they could come the following day and we would not have to be present. They called us the following day when they assessed the damage and told us where the leak was, what they needed to do, and how much it will cost. They did notify us that it was under a small concrete walkway next to the garage and it would have to be drilled and broken up. They also stated that they are not equipped to fix the walkway after the job is finished. I understood and agreed to the repair. They finished in less than two hours, called us to notify us, and billed us later. All in all, it was a great deal!

It went very well. They were very prompt, very courteous and their prices were good.

I saved $500,00 dollars and my yard is not torn up. Stephen Wengler did a terrific job. I highly recommend this company Another high point was the the information that I received over the phone was very encouraging. I was told about all the possibilities and the costs.

I love them.They were on time and their fees were very, very, reasonable. They were just wonderful people and are my plumber of choice. I call them for everything. I didn't expect them to do sheetrock work because that's not their job, but they cut as little as possible so the repairs wouldn't be horrendous on the other end. They had all the equipment that they needed in their trucks at the outset and didn't have to leave and go get stuff and comeback and waste my time. They completed the repairs in exactly the amount of time that they told me it would take which was 2 1/2 hours. There was no underestimating or overestimating which they did very, very, well. They cleaned up everything and it was like they haven't even been here. They even used shoe covers to keep my floor clean and had a young apprentice with them who was their little runner. Everybody is very respectful, very kind, and obviously knew what they were doing because he's been in business a long time. He responded very quickly to my call. I've used him several times and the first time I called him three years ago I found him through another company and literally within one minute of pushing a button on my computer the phone rang. Their system automatically sends an alert to your cell phone if you set it up like that and he called me instantly at 7:15 in the morning. It was awesome and he's really nice. These guys are really, really, good. They're prompt, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. They're fabulous and I don't call anybody else and call them directly.

Jerry proved to be a very competent plumber and his team did great work. He supported all facets of our kitchen remodel and solved a number of problems as the project progressed. He always arrived on time and completed each job on time. I'd definitely use him again.

We had water pouring into a downstairs electrical socket. They came out to identify the problem. They cut into the ceiling, 2'x3'. We had to provide a ladder. The were unable to diagnose the problem and thought it was a jacuzzi problem. So now we have a hole in the utility room ceiling to repair that they have not fixed. We had to pay the emergency fee plus their regular fee. We have been in this house for 3 years. They wrote down that the problem was "Unknown, appears to be bad construction. Need to hire jacuzzi specialist." They then blamed the problems on us to the landlord, instead of following the paperwork that put the issue on the construction. We asked them to tighten down whatever they could. We have been unable to use the bathtub for 3 months. They tried to fix the toilet that was backing up. He snaked it and couldn't get anything out of it. He was able to get the toilet working correctly though. The experience with the manager has been extremely rude. They have told me to call somebody else and left me here without of use of the bathtub.

We had slow moving drains in 2 bathrooms. Mr.Hearn and one of his employees showed up at our home when they were scheduled to and even called me at work prior to let me know they were on the way. They cleaned out both drains, including the main drain and everything is working now as it should. What can I say about JL Hearn other than they have been to our home 3 times for different things and I would find it hard to call another plumbing company in the future. The first time they came to change our water heater. The problem is that ours in in the attic. This can be very expensive depending on who you call. JL Hearn did this for a very fair price. The second time was for a leak in our front yard. Thank goodness the leak turned out to belong to the house next door. The third time was to clean out our drains.

Outstanding job. incident occured on weekend. Had to call out after hours. prompt call back. Techinican was working on another job in the same area. Upon completion of first job, came immediately to me and discovered what problem was. He took immediate steps to stop the leak, replace the leaking connection and provided me contact information to start the drying out process.

Jerry and his crew were extremely professional. They were punctual, pleasant to work with, and very work-oriented. The work they performed for us was excellent. Jerry himself returned and addressed an additional issue after all the work was done. Having to work and schedule around other contractors is not always an easy job, but JL Hearn Plumbing did it without any major complications and there were not any unresolved issues or conflicts. The entire process (including other contractors for tilework, etc) took approx. 2 weeks. We are very pleased with the results.

I had a water leak under my kitchen sink, looked like it was the disposal, but I wasn't sure. I have used JL Hearn in the past with excellent results, so I called again. As my leak wasn't a flood and I was home for a few days, they were able to schedule me within a day or so. They called on their way, were on time, were courteous and helpful. They always remove shoes or wear booties to protect my home, and once they had analyzed the problem (a rusted out spot on my disposal), shown me the worn part and explained the situation, they were able to provide and install a new one on the spot. What really impressed me was that the rep took the time to show me some failed sealant on my undermount sink that was in need of repair as well. WHole issue was handled inside of 30 minutes - no drama! They installed the new equipment, hauled away the old and left my kitchen clean. The price was fair and new equipment worked great. I was totally satisfied with my service, and will continue to use JL Hearn for all my plumbing needs.

Needed to re-seat a toilet. Punctual service at an excellent price.

They were fabulous. One of my friends had recommended them. I then went to Angie’s List and saw their rating and decided to go with them because I had got it from two sources, so they got to be pretty good people. They were professional. They were great. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

1. The standard tub/shower has a 1 1/2 drain near the wall that needed to be changed to a 2 inch with a new trap in the middle of the new space. The plumber had to jackhammer the cement up and dig a hole to move and expand the drain, it was a big job. There was a huge pile of dirt and broken rock piled in the space. He put a new drain and trap, welded new pipes to the new shower and covered and cemented the hole. When he left I could not even tell he had been there. It was clean! 2. The original sink and faucet did not have shut off valves and was kind of rigged up. The plumber got in there, cut out all of the previous bad work and proceeded to add ball c*** shut off valves, new pipes to the new through the wall faucet. I was checking out his work (I am quite handy myself) and it was perfect. Welds perfect, no short cuts. Again no mess, it was spotless. By talking to him he takes pride in his work and is very professional. He is not the cheapest, and not the most expensive, his price was fair and I am beyond happy. I have finally found a plumber whom I can trust.

JL Hearn provided an estimate on a remodeling project I was involved in with as a design professional a few weeks prior to me calling him to service my house. During the consultation, I was impressed by his knowledge, his ease and ability to explain his findings and make recommendations to the clients, and his bright, courteous nature. Later, I found a metal pipe leaking under the kitchen sink in my home a day or two before Thanksgiving and called him to make an appointment. I was pleased that he answered the phone a little after 5:30 p.m. He offered to get the leak taken care of before the holiday, believing that I needed the kitchen to cook, but we were leaving town and I made an appointment for the following week. I assured him it was a slow leak and the bucket in-place would suffice until then, because he was concerned. He was very encouraging about me calling him if i had any problems or if conditions worsened before the scheduled appt. He would take care of it pronto. The day of the appointment, the journeyman called and said he was ahead of schedule and asked if he could come a little early, about 30 minutes. I was glad I did not have to wait at all and could resume my day more quickly too. The plumbing was a simple fix. I had a case of "while you are here.." and pointed out that my faucet was leaky in multiple places and discussed maybe me running to Lowe's to get a replacement. He said sure, if I wanted to, but he could give mine a tune-up or I could select from the extras in his truck if I was not too picky about style. (Finish on the extras didnt match mine, so I opted for a tune-up). He descaled my bathroom aerator as well. I was very pleased with all the fixes. No more finniky faucet handle with only one magic position or else it slow dripped. Peace at last! In sum, my overall impression was that the representatives were clean-cut, professional, accommodating, and VERY service and solution oriented.

Jerry is awesome. He is prompt, responds to needs, and also comes with a sense of humor - bonus! He has fixed my disposal, outdoor pipes that have busted, etc - and it wasn't for crazy prices, either. I asked him to come out to consult on a french drain; when it rains, my driveway floods and it takes days to dry up. When it's really bad, the water creeps up into the garage - no good. So, he came over, checked out the situation, and gave me several options, depending on how much time, effort and expense I wanted to put into it, which is great, because it let me see what all was available and let me decide how much I could afford and which route to take - how many people do that?? He will be coming back to create my french drain next week, just wanted to give a shout out for someone who is up front about work to be done and provide options to someone that didn't know anything on the matter - thanks.
