Description of Work: We purchased the coupon off of Angies list for Two hours of actual electrical work for I believe $90.00. I then was called by a lady who somehow was saying that they only work by the hour and that the rate ould be much higher. I was confused and told her that I understood the rate was for two hours of work no matter what. Then the time was set for one week later to come and install our front entry light and two back patio lights. I even had the two lights on the patio taken down for the serviceman John to save time. Next thing was that an electrician called to come out one week before our appointment. He then said that he had looked at the time wrong. He made the appointment at 8:30 this morning, came in and gave me an estimate based on what their "set" prices are for doing a particular job and it worked out that he could not do but one thing for the price!! He said that Angies list does this to them all the time. They run ads without getting approval and then they have to explain to the customers that they do not work by the hour. I doubt that is true but nontheless, I am now faced with installing the pation lights myself or hiring another electrician to do the simple work of this. This company actually spent an hour and a half doing this job, but since he said the job costs more than what we paid for, he would have to charge more to start on the patio lights. I liked the serviceman but I think this is faulty advertising on someone's part. No I won't use them again and frankly I am a little disturbed about this type of operation. I got one and a half hours of something I paid two hours for. Should I not get back at least 30 minutes of my time? But wait, I forgot, they charge by the job, not by the hour like our coupon says.

Description of Work: This 'deal' was really no deal. Good Electric has an itemized list of charges per item. I received prices on installing two wall outlets, wiring a ceiling fan, and installing a motion light. Each and every one of them individually required that I spend even more money. As I have the Deal coupon, I will hold onto it until I need a ceiling fan installed (not WIRED mind you - just INSTALLED) or can come up with a very small project which will require the least amount of additional money from me. I was very disappointed.

Description of Work: We had a110 outlet installed above the stove for the addition of an over the stove microwave.

Description of Work: Ronnie from Allgood came out and installed an outside outlet, fixed our Pool pump, and installed a ceiling fan. He was quick, polite, and did amazing work. Another electrician told us some of the work couldn't be accomplished in an easy manner. I would highly recommend Ronnie and Allgood Electric. I will definitely call them back for future work I am planning.

Description of Work: I explained my problem by phone. A serviceman came out, exactly on schedule,,surveyed the situation, and determined there was no problem. He took time to explain the function and use of the installed submeter. Since it was the first time using their service, There was no charge. i appreciate their honesty and would use them again.

Description of Work: I had three different light fixtures not working, possible shorts. The gentleman fixed all three quickly.

Description of Work: Called for a Quote on a job to replace/ repair an exterior CB pannel. And there was a charge $49 charge to get a quote. I am new to the Angie's list game. I don't think you should pay for Quotes.
