Description of Work: Replaced four regular plugs with plugs that have a built-in breaker. The plugs are in my kitchen, meaning there is water in the vicinity. They did a great job but are expensive. They also offered to put in my new ceiling fan in my office, at a charge of $200 or more, depending whether there was already a "box" in the ceiling where the light fixture was. (I had already bought the fan.) I got the job done by another electrician for $80.

Dear [Removed member name], Thank you for providing feedback on Angie’s List. We have worked for you several times in the past and consider you a valued customer. Since there was no details in your review, I will explain my understanding of the work we did for you. Please contact me if it is inaccurate in any way. You called us to removed three ceiling fans and installed your new ceiling fans. The existing metal electrical boxes that supported the fans extended past the ceiling by more than ¼” instead of being properly installed flush with the ceiling. The previous ceiling fans and support hardware covered up most of the extended box problem. The new fans and hardware did not conceal the problem with the extended boxes and consequently there was a ¼’ gap between the ceiling and the top of the fan canopy. We explained that your new fan canopies would not hide the problem caused by your existing boxes. You expressed a concern of insects getting through the gap and we offered to caulk the gap at no charge. You agreed and signed off on the invoice that the work was completed satisfactorily. Later we received a call that you were not satisfied and that since the previous fans were flush with the ceiling, therefore we must have not installed the new fans properly because the new fans were not flush like the previous fans. We made a trip back to your home and explained that the only way we could get the fans to fit flush was to fix the problem with the existing boxes. You approved our quote to replace the boxes with new fan boxes that would permit the fan canopies to fit flush with the ceiling. Although we had to remove the ceiling fans and reinstall them again, we only charged for changing the boxes and did not charge for removing and reinstalling the ceiling fans. Again you signed our work order that the work as completed to your satisfaction. We do not understand how this work and special consideration resulted in a F review. Dear Mr, Thank you for your feedback on Angie’s List. Prior to receiving your Angie’s List review, we reviewed the proposal that was given to you and discovered that you were not quoted correctly. We could not agree more that the price was much to high. We apologize for this error. With the correct pricing our price would have been very close to the other quote you received. If you had accepted the proposal and had the work done, we would have caught the error when the paperwork hit our office. We would have promptly issued a refund to you for the overcharge with our apology. Would could not have been in business for 31 years, have an A+ rated with the BBB, and received Angie’s List Super Service award each and every year if we did not have competitive pricing. The majority of our customer’s give us good reviews for our pricing. We are retraining our employee on our pricing structure. Until we are satisfied that this individual is fully retrained, will require the office approve all his pricing prior to presenting the line item quote to our customers. Description of Work: They replaced a fan switch that had burned out. Without my asking, they also checked the outside and inside breakers to make sure everything was okay and left an Inspection Report that verified all is well. Rafael left us a pamphlet called The Electric Circuit which was about how to make the best use of your fans in both summer and winter. He also gave us CPS' Energy Connection about circuit interrupters. We just sold our house so our buyers will really appreciate this!! This company went above and beyond what was expected. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: Two lights, one in a hallway and another in a hall closet, did not come on when the switch was activated. No breaker had tripped and the bulbs in both fixtures were good. The Good electrician came as scheduled and found a loose connection in one of the fixtures and repaired it.
