Description of Work: Purchased online "coupon" fort $99 for a $198 value. Called Good Electric to come out - check circuit issue on pool pump- Tech came out- Prompt- professional- Said circuit is fine- issue is not electrical. Took 20-minutes- Then told me I could not have a credit or carry forward as coupon only allows one call and the entire is used even if the work is less. He apologized and left. I emailed Good- after several days they said they would look into it- Never heard again. I was very disappointed in this. Coupon on Angies list did not stipulate this restriction. We are 4x repeat customers and I expected better.

Dear [removed member's name], Although it may have seemed like 20 minutes our electrician was there for over an hour thoroughly and completely diagnosing the problem. We did respond to your inquiry. You wrote to us on Angie’s List Message Center and we responded on the same message center. That is why you did not get a email. I am including our response to your message below for you convenience. You can also still find it on the Angie’s List Message Center. Dear [removed member's name], I apologize for taking so long (one week) to respond to your question. I am glad we were able to identify your problem. The electrician that did your work (Michael) relayed that you were told to call us by someone that said your pump did not have power. Your pump definitely had power and you would not have had to call us if they did their job. I suggest you ask that company to reimburse you for what you had to pay us due to their misinformation. I believe their may have been a miscommunication about our policies on the $198 for $99 program through Angie’s List. The entire amount does not have to be used in one trip. Any unused balance is valid for a least one year. In your case there was only a $1.00 balance. Our diagnostics charge is a flat fee based on the doing the troubleshooting and not the time it takes. Our flat fee limits your risk of lengthy and expensive trouble shooting. Most of our customers appreciate having a fix amount for troubleshooting instead of an unknown and potentially expensive charge. If necessary, we would have spent all day diagnosing your problem for the same $197.00 charge. Thank you for your inquiry and your business.
