Description of Work: Installed an undercounter light, helped locate existing switch for outdoor plugs and added ground,and added a plug to a 2nd undercounter light because we couldn't afford their wiring fee. It was an ugly industrial type plug because that's all they had on their truck. Will have to be replaced or permanently wired. Very prompt, professional, and courteous. However, we had already gotten an estimate for 1/3 the price of what they charged. The other electrician was busy with other projects so we called Good Electric. Ultimately we were overcharged, even though we didn't realize it. Good Electric discovered the overcharge and sent us a refund without us requesting it. That is very refreshing.

Regarding the $145/hr you mentioned, we divided the quoted cost of your work by the number of hours we spent on the job and came up with the same amount per hour. The amount per hour was not only labor but also included 2 heat vent lights, associated materials and sales taxes. You also have a full 2 year warranty. We provide a quoted price for the entire job in advance so you have an opportunity to know the full cost in advance, no matter how long it takes to do the job. A difficult installation may have taken much longer, but you would not have paid more. We look forward to working with you in the future.

Description of Work: Tapped into an existing power source and ran an electrical cable 15 feet. At the end of the cable they put a junction box so that I could connect a ceiling fan. At the time of the bid, they said thy would run the cable over the top of the pergola so it wouldn't be visible but they ran it in plain sight at the time of the installation. When my brother who is an electrician in Seattle came down to visit he asked me if I did it myself because he thought it looked sloppy.
