I called him Monday afternoon and we set a time for him to come to my house at 8:00 am on Tuesday. He said he had an idea that it was probably my gear since my unit was from 9-10 years old. He arrived at 7:40 am. It went so smoothly I could not believe it. It was my gear and it was stripped. He put in a new gear and lubricated the mechanisms inside the box. He then lubricated the wheels and track. I did not KNOW my garage door could close QUIETLY. It is so quiet now that it just slightly humms. (My washing machine makes more noise). I had lived with this noise for 10+ years, not know it could be so easily fixed. He was very professional and explained things to me. The total charge was $80.00. (I had checked Sears website and they charge $75.00 just to come out and look at the problem. Keep that in mind if you want to use Sears.). I highly recommend this company to anyone. He has been doing garage doors for over 30 years and has had his own business for over 20 years.

I called Mr. Lindner late afternoon day before yesterday to request his assistance. My garage door opener had pulled the vertical support piece of the garage door away from the garage door. Mr Lindner said that he would stop by the next morning(yesterday) and take a look at the door, Mr. Lindner determinded there was no damage to the door. He would rivot the support back on to the door and then place a brace across the width of the door which would prohibit this problem from ever occurring again. Mr. Lindner returned this morning with the brace and repaired the door. installed the brace, and adjusted the garage door opener so that the door closed all the way to the concrete . I learned that Mr. Lindner installed garage doors in the subdivision back when our houses were being built in the early 70's.

I had used Garage Door Repair Company several years ago and was completely satisfied so I called Mr Lindner when I had a problem with another door. Same good experience as before. Mr. LIndner responded the same day, diagnosed the problem, fixed the problem and took time to adjust a second door.This was done at a very reasonable price. The proprietor diagnosed the problem over the phone call this morning and by the time I checked with the missus around noon, the repair was made! Wow! Very reasonable rates. This experience has totally sold me on Angie's List. I called him with confidence and left with confidence. Thanks!

Mr. Lindner was wonderful! My garage door stuck open and I had to disconnect the opener to get it to shut. I called Mr. Lindner and left a message about 5:00 p.m. He returned the message at 9:00 p.m. that evening and agreed to come first thing the next morning. He arrived about 8:30 a.m. and was done by 9:00 a.m. While he was there, he lubricated all the moving parts, properly aligned the sensors (it turned out one was backwards, which I had never noticed), adjusted the tension so the door didn't hit the ground so hard when closing, and checked to make sure everything else was working as it should be. He also told me how old the opener was and showed me how to adjust the locking mechanism if I need to manually lock the door. The door is now about 1000% quieter than it had been and is working great. The service call was $54.50. I am more than satisfied!

I contacted Mr. Lindner after our daughter bent the upper 1/4 panel of our garage door. Apparently when pushing the opener button the roller missed the track and stopped itself. Our daughter without checking to see what had happened continued to push the button causing the roller to bend, the hinge to break and the upper panel to bend. This is a 20 year old double door that is fully insulated and very heavy duty. It is part of a matching set. The price for replacement is ridiculous especially since it would require replacing both doors. I called Mr. Lindner after reading his reports on Angie's List. He was very prompt and replaced both the roller and hinge on visit number one. He measured the door panels and got in touch with the manufacturer to see of they were able to replace a single horizontal panel. The remaining door panels are in perfect condition. Unfortunately this model is no longer produced so replacement parts are no longer available. Mr. Lindner determined that before we went ahead and purchased two new doors we should try a stabilizer bar across the top. It worked like a charm! I could not possibly be any happier with his solution. Mr. Lindner knew that I was willing to purchase two new doors from him and pay him for the installation. Instead of taking advantage, he choose the repair which certainly meant less profit in his pocket. I really appreciate the time he spent contacting the manufacturer on my behalf. I found him to be prompt, when he knew he might be late he called to be sure the appointment time still worked for me. Who does that? Very few service people these days. Mr. Lindner got right to work on the problem, he continued working for several hours even with a heat index of 100. Overall Mr. Lindner is a very charming man, he is polite, a very hard worker and a man with solutions. He will not try to take the easy way out of a repair. Mr. Lindner is trustworthy and will provide good solid advice. I would highly recommend him with no reservations.

The garage door pulley mechanism wouldn't latch properly to open the door this morning and the door wouldn't stay up when opened manually. Mr. Lindner came out by noon and expertly replaced the door spring. The door now works better than ever. He has 37 years' experience repairing and installing garage doors and knows what he's doing. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Linder has 38 years experience and it shows. I had disassembled part of the spring setup and he did not mind. I told him I thought I had .218 springs, but I had .225. He went and picked up the correct springs and did not try and use the weaker springs. He explained the process and made a few adjustments on the opener. Should be good for another ten years. As long as he able to do the job, I would hire him.

We appreciated Mr. Lindner's frankness about his preference for Chamberlain openers and that he didn't insist that we buy the opener from him. His business may lack the "sleek" appearance of some, but his work has stood the test of time, and we're getting ready to hire him to install another opener for us.

Our garage door was fixed and he made additional adjustments for us.

Irwin is a very nice professional man who cares about his customers and is very honest. He is the only person I would use for any issues with my garage door opener.

Mr. Lindner came out to estimate the job. He returned the next day with repair parts. He attached metal struts the the bent door which straightened it out. He then adjusted the track so that the door did not rub anywhere. Finally, he oiled all the chains and rollers. The doors work very well now.

Mr. Lindner was easy to reach and was able to set up an appointment the same day. He completed the repair of the broken torsion spring quickly and professionally. He also identified the broken stop switch on the garage door opener, which I had previously suspected was not working properly, and was able to replace it in the same service call. Overall we were very satisfied with the work Mr. Lindner did.

Mr. Lindner finished the work in a couple of hours and his fee was very reasonable, much less than Sears. He is very knowledgeable about garage doors.

Garage Door Repair Company did a good job. Irvin Linder is the owner and we dealt directly with him. He came out right away because we couldn't get the door open and needed to get to work. He got the job done quickly. He didn't complain about how difficult the job was. He just got it done. His pricing was very minimal. He was a really nice guy.

Garcia came over first to give an estimate, & then 2 guys came out & did the work in one day. They were very professional, did a good job, & we've had no problems since. The garage works fine now & I will call them again if I have any problems.
