this was one of the angies special offers. they followed up with me before i could call to schedule. i had expected a delay in scheduling but they were proactive and got us in very quickly. they showed up on time and discussed the history of the door and asked about any specific problems. the work was completed quickly and completely.

Very professional and efficient. Would use them again.

They did all of the work promised and even checked my second door. I was concerned about a cable that was off track, he came and looked at it, ordered the part, and came back quickly to repair it at a very reasonable price. He was easy to schedule with and was very flexible in working my schedule.

I am very happy with the outcome. The tune up has made my garage door a lot quieter. They lubed the chain and springs. They also put in new rollers. With my bent bracket, they put in a heavier bracket with two long metal plates (top and bottom of bracket). Excellent work and I highly recommend them. They were very knowledgeable, did not charge to much, and I felt they told me the truth in what was going on with my garage door.

Mr. Irvin Lindner came at the appointed time to take care of my old but otherwise perfectly fine garage door, which gave me some trouble in pushing it open and locking it. Mr. Lindner oiled all joints, replaced the rollers and took care of everything that was not working perfectly. The door performs now as if it is new. I am very pleased with the work. I am living in a 1966 built house. The single garage will receive a ceiling and insulated walls in two weeks. I will call Mr. Lindner back at this time to install a garage opener.

Very positive experience. I bought a coupon on Angie's List for a $99 garage door tune up. I called Irvin the next day to set up a time for them to come by. He promptly called me back and came the next day! The were friendly, courteous and even programmed my car so that it would open the garage door. Will definitely use them again in the future!

Fantastic. We thought that we were effectively locked out of our garage when it wouldn't budge. I called Mr. Lidner right about 5pm on a weekday, hoping to get the door repaired that evening. He anwered, I explained the situation, and said he was on his way; would be there in about 20 minutes. True to his word, he was there in 20 minutes. I was shocked when he arrived in his personal vehicle and in his "civvies"; he took my call and showed up ON HIS PERSONAL TIME! He popped the door right open within a few minutes and asked if I would mind if he dropped by the next day to fix the door since he didn't have his tools or the part needed. (He mentioned he also had a prior personal engagement that evening.) He showed up the next day at the agreed upon time and fixed our garage door within 45 minutes. Without us mentioning anything, he also applied some fresh grease to the screw to get rid of the awful racket our opener was making. Amazingly he charged us his same standard rate, even with the extra service and drive out the previous day. Mr. Lidner is awesome! I call him exclusively for any of our garage door matters.

Returned home from vacation to find our garage door would not open. Called Irvin Sat. morning. He came out the same morning, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed before lunch. He didn't just replace the opener, he rebuilt the old one with parts from his truck; never had to leave the job site. Only charged $100. This was the second time I have called Irvin and I have been very satisfied each time. Wonderful trip back to the day when repairmen could be trusted and actually did repairs. Threw in some good story telling at no charge! Have already made recommendations to neighbors.

Not much to tell. The repair was done satisfactorily and was completed with the one visit.

I called to company to request service. I was quoted $110 as basic service call including spring replacement. I asked that I be contacted shortly prior to arrival to be at the house (I am 5 mins away when working). I was very pleased that within 2 hours I was called just prior to arrival to meet the proprietor. The diagnosis was quick and solution implemented promptly. The fee of $110 for service call & replacement was *very* reasonable. He also confirmed all automated operation of the door opening system and offered to lubricate the door(was not requested but appreciated). The door works great and is quiet now! Great and pleasant experience to meet the proprietor.

I e-mailed individual with the specific make and model of the opener I needed installed and he stated he could do it for 90$. He arrived and began work but stated he had to leave before it was finished, and returned a few days later. I had to help him with the directions (which he would'nt pick up) and help him physically trouble-shoot and do part of the physical work. He stated his knees were bothering him and hinted he had to leave before the work was done. I paid him the $90 and was glad to see him off. He stated he hadn't installed this particular Chamberlain model. He did provide a couple of parts including a three foot extension cord and a metal bracket he stated wasn't in the opener package. A friendly fellow, but probably not the best for any heavy lifting or openers other than very basic systems. Don't get excited by cheap quotes.

I had a malfunctioning garage door and called this company late on April 3, 2012. The fellow came by on early April 4, and fixed it. The repair was somewhat complicated, but the charge was very fair. The fellow and his assistant were very Texas friendly, and I would recommend this company highly to anyone.

My car was held captive in my garage because the automatic opener would not work and even though I used the emergency release, the door would not open. I was on my way out for an appointment and was in a hurry. One look on Angie's List and made the call. I was surprised he said he could not only fix the door that day, he could be here in 30 minutes. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgable and got the door running after my car was "locked" in the garage. I never made my appointment but I did not have to pay a hefty ransom fee to get the hostage car released!!

For the first time the door has no gaps around it, and they meticulously adjusted the track. For the first time ever it runs like a fine watch. They are true craftsmen who know their trade, and they were very polite and tidy to boot. I highly recommend them.

Overall the job went very well. From start to finish the crew was exceptional and the cleanup went like they were never there.

Irvin was a complete professional. No frills, just a good, honest hard worker. He fixed the door, then suggested some other things that might need to be repaired in the coming year, but gave no sales pitch to try to get us to do those repairs that day. His price was incredibly reasonable considering what he did and the time he spent. At this point I wouldn't consider any other garage door repair company.
