They called and said they had finished their prior job early so asked if they could come early which I was very glad about. They were very informative and explained the mechanisms for the doors and what was causing my issues. They got the job done fast and at a good price. I would highly recommend them to anyone and I will definitely use them again if I have any future issues with my garage doors.

The appointment was for 1:00 p.m. He got here shortly before 1:00 p.m. He replaced the spring and the garage door is now working well.

They were punctual, polite, friendly and down to Earth. They did were supposed to do and they didn’t try to push additional work. They honored the coupon and worked with us on scheduling.

Called on a Friday and owner offered to fix that day, but Monday was better. The appt was set for 9am and the gentleman arrive around 9:30am. It was fine because I was working from home. I believe it was the owner who came and he was very pleasant and explained/showed me what had busted and why. It's been about a month and the door works great.

Service was fantastic! I called on Tuesday at around 1:00 PM to hopefully set up an appointment for Friday. Pace answered the call and offered to come by Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 PM after he finished another call he was on. He showed up right on time, repaired the spring that was broken. On top of that he pointed out another problem that was going to eventually happen with the pulley arm because of how the original installer had cut some corners and not put in a brace across the top of the door. He installed the brace on that door and my other garage door along with doing a quick tune up on the second door. I couldn't be happier with the service and would recommend them first (this is the third company that I've had work on my doors) for service, repair or replacement. The cost was very reasonable as well.

When I called Garage Door Repair, I spoke to Pace, who asked me several questions to start determining the problem. I was able to get an appointment at a convenient time for the next day. Irvin arrived on time and after asking me questions and checking everything possible on the garage door and opener, determined that the circuit board needed to be replaced. He followed up by phone the next day letting me know that the board had needed to be ordered but would be here in another day. As soon as it was available he called to set up another appointment. This time Pace came out and replaced the circuit board, as well as the rollers (replaced the metal ones with nylon ones at my husband's request). Everything went very smoothly. Pace and Irvin are both polite, on time and knowledgeable about everything related to garage doors!

One of the extension springs on my garage door had broken and I noticed the other one was held in place by a zip tie which I'd never noticed until that day. Didn't think that was probably very safe. Found Garage Door repair on Angie's List after reviewing several companies. Called because they had over 150 reviews with an A rating. They actually answered the phone, instead of sending to voice mail, and were able to come out and repair my garage door the same day I called even though they were busy. Pace was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He replaced both the spring that had broken and the one held in place by a zip tie. He also repaired the pulley that had been bent as a result of the spring breaking and lubricated all moving parts so that when the door operates now it does so quietly. Very happy with the quality of the job, reasonable price and same day service. I would definitely recommend this company and would use again.

The gentleman(I think his nametag read "Ervin" or "Marvin".. I'm not great with names) showed up first thing in the morning, about 5 minutes early. That was impressive to begin with. He was a really nice guy to talk with.. said he's been in the garage door business for 40 years and I believe him - He was able to size up my issue in about 1 minute. The mounting bracket for my tension spring had lost a bolt and was digging into the drywall of the garage. He was able to fix the issue for me in about 30 minutes max.

I called Pace on a Monday expecting either that he wouldn't be able to get to us for a week or so or that he wasn't interested in coming to our area. Pace said he'd be there on Tuesday. He called Tuesday and said he was running early and asked if he could come early. It was fine with me and he came early. I was impressed with his friendliness and ability to fix something that I thought was hopeless. After he made the repair, he also told me that he wasn't surprised that I couldn't fix it because all the information wasn't on the web. It was nice of him not to make me feel incompetent. I am appreciative of the service and the professionalism of this company. I will definitely be recommending him when the opportunity presents itself.

Garage Door Repair Co was able to repair my garage door the day I called them. Pace is friendly, knowledgeable and went above just fixing the garage door that needed to be repaired, he offered to tighten the chains on my other door as well. Now both run just as if they were new. Price was fair and service was awesome. I'll definitely use them again. Thanks!

I first contacted Pace by phone. I explained this 20+ year old door was making a lot of noise during operation, the chain was loose and hanging below the bar. Also, I had trouble getting the door to close earlier that day. Pace made an appointment for later that same day. He arrived on time and was friendly and professional. He looked over the door and pointed out a couple of additional problems stating the door was just due for some general maintenance to make it last many more years. He quoted me a price for all the work. He was quick to point out that not all the work needed to be done immediately but it would make the door work better and save a future service call. I agreed. Pace was able to do most of the work but needed a couple of different size parts that he didn't have on his truck. He made arrangements to finish the next morning at 8:30 and would wait for payment until the work was completed. He arrived the next morning as promised and finished the work in about 10 minutes. Overall, Pace was great, and worked quickly. I felt the price was fair and appreciated that he emphasized I didn't have to do all the work immediately. I also appreciated that he was able to do the work that day since I had trouble closing the door. I felt the price was fair, much cheaper than replacing a door or opener due to lack of proper maintenance! I would definitely recommend Pace or use him again in the future.

Not very good at first, but was resolved and installation was completed. Garage door opener is working as expected now.

Irvin called before leaving for my house to let me know he was on the way. He was punctual, professional and congenial. He explained everything he was doing. I'll be able to reset my remote if it needs resetting again. Irvin also lubricated a dozen places on the door, so it glides much more quietly now. I was only asked to pay the service fee and the cost of the universal remote. I can understand why this company has so many great reviews. I will certainly ask for their services again if my garage door has any problems, and I will recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you, Angie's List for your recommendation.

I have been having some trouble with my overhead garage door. Another company replaced the two springs three years ago. When my opener died and I was raising the door manually, the cable tension when the door was full open was too weak and the cable came off the spool. This caused the door to c*** and come off the rail at the top. I had the other company come out and, after getting the door back on track, the technician tightened one of the springs. After he left, the increased tension caused the door to start to open by itself. I lost confidence in the company and the technician to solve the problem. I reviewed garage door companies on Angie's List and emailed The Garage Door Repair Company on Saturday, and Pace called back the same day. I set up an appointment for Monday morning. He arrived on time and thoroughly reviewed the door operation. He contacted the door manufacturer and determined that the springs installed were incorrect. He reviewed the problem and possible solutions with me, and I decided the replace the springs. He ordered the correct springs, picked them up, and installed them and a new opener that afternoon. The garage door now works properly with easy operation rolling from open to closed. The cable tension problem is resolved. I was very impressed with way Pace thoroughly reviewed the problem and discussed my options to resolve. He acted professionally, worked to resolve my problem completely - I have confidence that his work was done correctly I plan to have him back when I need work done on my other garage door. In addition, the price he charged was very reasonable - the spring installation cost 15% less than the incorrect ones installed three years ago and the opener installation cost 20% less than the quote from the previous company.

Pace was very professional. He was the only one of several companies that actually answered the phone. He was prompt and quick in completing the repair. He was also very reasonably priced and even lubricated a second garage door. He made sure everything was in good order before he left. I would absolutely use his services again.

The service went well. He seemed very knowledgeable. He was quiet and got his work done. In fact, he did things that I would have never thought to do to a garage door. I read some reviews that said he was grumpy, but he was just quiet and got his work done. I was out in the garage with him the whole time and he seemed friendly and answered every question that I asked. He explained exactly what he was doing and why. He explained to use white lithium on the garage door instead of wheel grease because it attracted a lot of dirt. Overall, he did a great job, has over 40 years of experience, and really knew what he was doing. He was there when he said he would be, was very professional, and quoted an accurate price. Well worth the money spent.

The service from Pace Talley at Garage Door Repair Company was great from the start. After leaving a message, my call was returned within an hour. Pace said he was at another job but could be at our home within the next 2 hours. He called us back to let us know when he was on his way and showed up on time as promised. His workmanship was excellent and he took the time to explain everything. If we ever have any garage door needs we will definitely be calling them back! I had checked around on Angie's list and from the reviews - his prices can't be beat and he doesn't try to sell you anything you do not need. They did a Great Job at a Great Price!!
