no work started; felt they could not care less

Elite does excellent work and always has very competitive and reasonable pricing. This recent service was no different than my past experiences. Elite always takes great pride in doing a fantastic job and in making certain their customers are very satisfied. Every year, the same Elite employees service my property and it really speaks volumes about a company that is able to retain the same employees year after year. The Elite employees are, like their employers, extremely courteous and accommodating -- they always aim to please. I am so satisfied with Elite that this year I hired them to perform all monthly servicing of my landscaping. You will not be disappointed if you choose Elite to perform any landscape projects or servicing.

We have a monthly contract with them. They are an excellent service. They are the best we've had. We are really satisfied with them even though they aren't the cheapest around.

Met with the owner of Elite to get a bid for a small commercial landscaping job. During our meeting about the small job I asked them to bid our entire commercial property for future reference as we now do everything in house. A couple days later I received the bid for the small project and for the entire property. The price looked good for the small project so I called back the owner to setup an appt to have the work completed. The owner for elite then tried to strong arm me into a contract for our entire property when we only wanted the smaller project done and that was the only reason for us ever looking into there services. I was told that the smaller project wasnt worth there time and it was an all or nothing deal. I told them I wasnt interested and would never recommend them or use there services. I deal with contractors on a daily basis and have never been treated like this before.

There isn't anything that has not gone smoothly. There have been delays due to weather, but there is no control over that. When replacing my sprinkler system, I am certain Robbie was not expecting there to be so much rock in my back yard, and that drove his costs up, but my bill was what he bid, not one penny more. All of my experiences with Elite have been very positive and I wouldn't use anyone else in San Antonio for the specialty aspects of my yard. They trim my entire yard about 3 times a year and are in and out quickly and quietly, leaving it looking spectacular.

Their pricing is fair. They never try to sell you something that you don't need.

They didn't do anything exceptionally well. I have to be very careful because I have relied on these people for 25 years. There are a lot of lawn companies in the area, and they are all mediocre. None of them are outstanding. If you have an issue, they will make it right. They are very friendly, young people. Two young men run the company. They are always open for complaints. They will rectify a problem. The service people are on their own, and they do the best they can. I'm sure I'm in the same boat with every other lawn service customer in San Antonio. I would say they are one of the better outfits.

Elite did extensive work on the back and front yard. This took six days and up to eight workers. The owner, Robbie, was friendly and worked with us to design the finished product. Robbie is very creative. The final cost of the project was the same as the estimate, even though the work was more extensive than first thought.

I used them for a while but found it hard to communicate with some of the crews. They always did wonderful work but it was a little frustrating at times.

From the start, we had a positive experience with Robby and the staff.

I never received a phone call back from them, even after I called numerous times.

They have serviced our trees for years. They started out here in Windcrest. The boys that run it were my wife's students years ago. We changed from another company to them. They fixed everything that was bugging my wife. They trimmed everything. The place looks superb right now. We don't have a year contract with them. They check the sprinkler system. They will even clean out my gutters. It is more than just mowing your grass. They were here when they said they would. They came out and talked to me. They brought the lawn guy by and told him what they wanted him to do. They took care of everything and left quietly.

Had crew of 2. One on the high stuff. Everything looks great exactly as discussed before hand.

Robbie and Bryan at Elite have been great to work with. They have always responded quickly to any request I have had.

I have been using them for five or six years and I trust them. No company is perfect because employees are always changing, but Elite has been pretty constant. They are good about addressing problems; I had major damage to my house after a storm and they were here the next day. They cleaned up everything and they charged me a very reasonable price compared to my previous experiences with other landscapers.

I was very happy with the work Elite did. The yard looks great even though it was done two years ago. Elite is an excellent company, and seems to be very well run. I would definitely recommend them.

My experience with Elite went better than perfect. Robbie with Elite repeatedly has to talk me out of spending more money than I am prepared to spend (so true) -- indeed, Robbie takes a long term planning approach to landscaping and does not try to oversell customers with services they don't need. For example, I wanted to put in landscape lighting this year, which would have resulted in a few thousand dollars in business for Elite; however, Robbie encouraged me to wait a year or two so that my recently planted beds would have time to mature and I would then have a better idea of where lighting would be appropriate and thus, not have to move or reconfigure it after installation. Elite has always been very punctual and performs its work very efficiently. Elite also gives me great advice and suggestions for my lawn care, even when it is not performing that work for me, which has saved me a lot of time and frustration. Furthermore, the bill that I received was lower than quoted, Elite made follow-up calls to ensure that all work was performed as promised and to my satisfaction, and I have not had any issues/problems to date with the work that was performed (even if I did, I am confident that Elite would promptly correct the problems). In sum, if you are looking for an honest company, who is not out too sell you things you don't need, and who does not overcharge for its services, and who is punctual, friendly, and works efficiently, then Elite is your company.

Grass was frequently incompletely cut (tuffs left behind), seems like they were in a race and things routinely got missed; did some damage to yard fixture; stopped using them.

This service is very helpful. I will continue using it. They are also good about trimming the bushes and hedges upon my request at a small extra fee. They are always on time. Their prices are comparable to others and they take great pride in the job they do.

They did a wonderful job cleaning up the yard. It looks like a different landscape. The workers were professional, friendly, and efficient. We would hire them again.

The two workers that come are efficient and neat. They do a great job keeping the lawn trimmed. We have asked them to do some pruning of trees and shrubs in the past but they can take a while to get to it.

This operation they have for this sort of job is almost like assembly line work. They have enough men to do it quickly, and they grind all branches right after they have been cut, so the yard is spotless. The end result was amazing, except now we have to get used to having much more sunlight, coming into the house.

We've used this company for three years and like them a great deal. They sometimes clean our gutters or will do essentially anything we ask them to. They come and do the work whether or not we're here, and simply bill us months.
