I contacted Decker, and requested they provide an estimate for a leak being experinced during rainfall, in my kitchen area. Decker responded within approximately 2-3 days, and surveyed the work to be done. They provided an estimate of the work to be done, which I considered a good one, and additionally provided information with regarding the state of the roof which did not require work.

Out home sustained damage from a lightning strike early in the week (A/C, tv/internet service, electrical,roof) and I came to discover an apparent small area of shingle damage above our entrance. I found Decker roofing on Angieslist and gave them a call. Steve Decker called me back and came out himself...the next day. He gave me a quote for a minimum repair, and his guys came out the next morning and got it fixed...no problem. No hassle...Steve is a nice guy, his workers got out there quickly, and the price was fair.

Severe hail damage and bad vent pipe covers on one of our rent houses. We got several estimates and Steve's was the best. We'd originally called him on a referral from our insurance adjustor, and were happy to find him (and his $100 coupon) on Angie's list with such good reports. We contacted him late on a Friday and, although we were having additional work done to that roof, he said he could get it done (working around the other crew) starting Monday--because the forecast was calling for rain. This was the week of Thanksgiving, when so many people forget where they work. He and his team had the job done in one and a half days--well before the rains hit, and well before we expected. And it was good work, too, not a rush job to get-done-and-go-home. Our tenant was concerned about a mess (nails, etc.), because their small children play in the yard...but they needn't have worried. They told us afterward, "Those guys left the job site cleaner than they found it!" As real estate investors, my husband and I have dealt with nightmare contractors who equate Rent House with No Big Deal. It is a big deal because a house is somebody's home, whether they own it or not. It was so great to find Steve Decker and his team of dedicated, hard working professionals. He'll be our go-to roof guy from now on.

Showed up to provide an estimate as scheduled. Work crew showed up at 0800 each day. Steve Decker was on hand at the beginnng of the job and off/on during the 2 days. He fixed some rotted wood on the chimney for no charge. Also replaced a small rotted portion of decking on the roof at very little cost. The crew worked right on through both days with virtually no breaks. They cleaned up around the whole house during and after job completion. What a professional looking roof. Every cut is precise and the materials were top notch. If you need a roof this is the company to go with.

I called Mr Decker after searching Angies List on 9/21.. He came to my home the next day at the time specified and did an estimate. I was so impressed with his professionalism and his demeaner, I hired him on the spot. We set up an appointment for his worker to come do the repair. The worker was right on time and I had my roof repaired within 2 hours of the estimate.

Steve was prompt in giving the estimate. He is a very friendly and professional person. The roofing crbeew finished the job in six hours and did a spectacular job cleaning up. The crew chief (Marco or Marcus?) was very professional and hard working. The were fast, friendly, and very competent. I chose Decker because the were the lowest of three estimates. I would use them again.

Company was to send someone out at 11:00 AM, but they called several hours earlier and came right out. They discovered that we had several more large holes in our roof and needed to remove an old atenna that was causing wear and tear. We agreed to the estimate and they returned within the hour and fixed all our problems. The company has very friendly and professional employees. We will use this company again in the future when we are ready for a new roof and will let our friends know what a great company this is.

Had our house for-sale by owner ... in Alamo Heights. Inspection reveled the roof was in sad shape and it had to be replaced to complete sale Buyers Agent (respected local Real Estate Co) suggested Steve Decker and arranged for his on-site inspection. This occurred as scheduled, a couple days later I received email with copy of the complete estimate...indicating that a minimum of x sheets of underlayment needed replaced etc...etc very detailed and cover all points the Inspector had found. A couple months went by waiting for closing...Steve and crew showed up 'on-time' the day that had been agreed. I live next door to the property and had the opportunity to watch the process... rip off the old, replace many sheets of plywood, tar-paper, lay shingels and clean-up ...done in one day, very professional team, obvious each knew their craft...did not find a single nail !! Then the clincher: a couple of weeks ago we had a sky light leak on our house (not the one he roofed !! )...called Steve to come out and inspect (have 7 skylights...one known leaker) He inspected the roof, all 7 skylights, made a minor repair (popped nails) re-sealed them and said we should have the gutters cleaned ! Charged nothing!! (said if it leaked he probably need to do a bit more work) ...this was before the last big rain storm ....no leaks here and none on the house next door that he did and it had 3 skylights that were quite old I would definitely recommend him and would use again if/when needed on my house
