Steve Decker was fabulous! I called to request an estimate for gutters for the sides of our home, and he visited our house and provided the estimate. After speaking with several other companies, we decided to use Decker Roofing. They put the gutters and screens up a few days later, and did a great job matching our existing gutters.

The contractors did a great job. When the house was inspected after being put up for sale, the inspector commented on how well the roof was repaired.

Things went well. Contractor did a great job. Contractor came out promptly after the fact and made a minor adjustment in one of the downspouts. .

It went will. The roof was fixed in a reasonable length of time. The roofer was friendly and very good. I would certainly use them again. Mr. Decker gave me an estimate and I was unable to do it that time. He very nicely waited for two weeks until I was able to have it done. I appreciate he worked with me to get this job done and I thank him for his help.

Outstanding job. Mr.Decker and his crew were totally professional. They arrived on time and were efficient and thorough. They completely cleaned up and left the lawn area as they found it. Excellent work overall.

The pricing was reasonable. I thought they were good people. It worked out well. I would recommend them.

Steve Decker, the owner, came to our house and checked the roof and the 37 year old sky lights that were installed on the original roof. This was the second time I had used Decker Roofing. The company had installed a new roof on the deck several years ago. I had figured that we would need a new roof plus the new skylights. Steve said the roof was still in good shape and didn't need to be replaced. He gave us a price only for the new skylights. He could have said that we needed the roof also but he is a very honest man. As I stated I had used his company before and was extremely pleased with the work. When we actually need the roof replaced he will be the only person that I will call.

We got several estimates and Decker Roofing was the lowest estimate. Steve was very responsive and was able to schedule the work to be completed the day after we accepted his estimate. The repairmen arrived right on time and performed the work within the time he estimated. The price was exactly as quoted in the estimate. I felt that they did a good job diagnosing the problem and did not try to oversell us highs we did not need. Would definitely use them agin in the future.

He didn't go to the attic but he looked at the roof, he didn't diagnose the problem but he took out the roof as component of it, he said probably it was an old leak before the roof was replaced and when they painted it over to sell the house, they didn't use skills on it so this thing had leaked through so I got the product to fix that. He was a well-dressed, well- spoken young man very professional, I would use him if should I buy a new roof. He did come and he didn't down slide anything, he didn't say "I'm not coming if I'm just gonna look at it".

Work was done as promised. The fascia work was done one afternoon and the gutter work was done two days later. The workmen came and went with little disruption. They were diligent and did a professional job. I would use this company again.

They were done within three hours. Everything was just perfect. They came out and checked on it in a timely manner. They cleaned up all their mess and did a wonderful job. I am very satisfied. I will definitely use them in the future.

I called him for an estimate, he came out when he said he would, did a complete review, gave me sound options to consider, gave me his recommendation and a price and then scheduled the appointment. I was very pleased with their service. They were prompt and started when they said they would. They completed the job ahead of time. They were very personable. The owner came out to give the estimate and was a very nice guy.

He understood the differences in working with a concrete roof. Fixed some areas of normal aging. On time and returned to see the work was completed to my satisfaction. Adjusted cost down after determining less work was required than first thought.

Really fabulous start to finish. Friendly, fast, responsive, all the good adjectives. We were missing a couple of shingles and both got replaced professionally... I have to look very hard to find where the new shingles are located. We also got a careful look at the rest of our roof and got a clean bill of health. No effort to find extra work where none was indicated. Will definitely call again for our roofing needs!

.Called Decker Roofing for an estimate. They were very responsive and scheduled a roof inspection faster than any of the other roofing companies I called. Provided a fast and competitive estimate. Though I did not choose Decker Roofing this time, I would definitely recommend calling them and would possibly use them in the future. Very professional.

I called the company after the big wind storm in March. I also had some damage from a previous storm. They came when they said they would, fixed my roof in all three places, and left a clean area. You cannot even tell where the damage was. They charged exactly what they quoted. No worries and it looks great!

It took 3 or 4 times to finally get the correct fix - because it rains so infrequently it wasn't easy to determine until we had heavy rain. They finally had to replace & redesign rafters and flashing in what was a poor design where several slopes joined to a flat area where water pools.

Steve determined I had no issues with my roof, that the problem was with a deck cover attached to my roof. He was very thorough and professional. He gave me a quote to do the repair work, but recommended I contact the contractor who built the deck cover first. He went over the whole situation with me, put his ladder up in order to access the whole situation and didn't charge me a penny. Thanks Steve!!

I was taking bids to re-roof my home when Decker was re-roofing my neighbor's house. I had not considered using them as there are hundreds of roofers in this city. I observed their work next door a they seemed to be professional and considerate to the mess they were making cleaning up at the end of day. I asked Steve for an estimate, he responded within 24 hours. His bid was not the highest, nor lowest. Upon acceptance the job was scheduled 4 days later. The crew arrived at 8 and worked till 5:30 on the first day and finished by 3 the following day. All seemed well. About a week later I was admiring the roof from the ground when I saw 1/2" gap on one of shingle joints. Asking myself "is there more?" I pulled out my ladder and climbed on the roof for closer inspection. I found numerous shingles with gaps up to 3/4" wide. Damaged shingles that had been cut with a knife and left in place. Discarded adhesive that served no purpose other then to look unsightly. Some exposed nail heads had been sealed against water penetration with a "generous" amount of sealant while others were untouched. Again, this can only be viewed from a ladder or getting on to the roof. I called Steve about my observations. He came out two days later. I provided photos of the problems and he readily agreed to correct them. Eleven days later they came out and spent 90 minutes correcting the workmanship issues. The majority of the work initially performed was outstanding however, the number of amateurish oversights in workmanship detracted from what would have been an outstanding job. These mistakes should have be caught and corrected BEFORE the customer had a chance to identify them that resulted in a call back. Once repaired, the roof was at a standard of quality I was expecting. The photos provided with this review are representative of the items found, but not conclusive.

l knew I would probably be on a long waiting list and called 4 roofers on Tuesday.No one called back. I called all 4 again. Only Mr. Decker and another roofer returned my calls on Friday. The other roofer would not be able to just look at my roof for almost 3 weeks. Mr Decker said he'd try to look at it next week. He actually looked at it the same afternoon & emailed pictures of the roof plus an estimate of work. The next business morning the work was done. There was another windstorm the following night with 40 mph gusts. The repair work held up nicely. I am a happy customer.

Mr. Decker and his crew were extremely professional, on time, and reasonably priced. Mr. Decker is a very nice man who was very easy to work with! Mr. Decker gave us special consideration since we just had repairs done 3 weeks prior to a hail storm which ruined our roof and we needed to replace it. He is a very honest, trustworthy man to work with!

After a major wind event recently in San Antonio, I received damage to my roof. I called 5 roofing companies for estimates. Steve Decker of Decker Roofing was only one of two companies that responded, but Decker Roofing (Steve Decker/Owner) came out in two days on a Friday morning and gave me an estimate. He said he would be there between 8:30 and 9am and he was on time. The other company couldn't come out to provide an estimate for at least a week. Steve climbed onto the roof, inspected it and gave me an estimate. He said he had crews in the area and his crews could fix the roof that afternoon. I said I would leave a check for his services under the mat, but that I though I would be home by the time his crew arrived, thinking it would be late afternoon when they came. Steve was very professional and easy to talk to. He didn't waver from his estimate and only charged what he said he would and gave me discount for being an Angie's LIst member. I went to lunch and by the time I got back, his crews had been to the house and fixed the roof. I felt bad because I didn't leave the check under the mat as promised. I called Steve and he said just to mail it to him. So, do call Decker Roofing if you need roof work. They are quick, accurate and punctual. They were for me and even arrived earlier than anticipated. Thank you Steve for taking care of the roof.

They responded to my initial call in a timely fashion. They showed up promptly on the day of the appointment and gave me a written estimate. When high winds prohibited them from doing their repairs on the day scheduled, they called to explain why they would not be there on that day. They came the following day and completed the repairs.
