Damiani's Comfort Design

I heard the radio ad at 6:30 a.m. and called expecting to leave a message. Donna answered and was the nicest call anyone could give so early in the morning! She immediately made a same day appointment for a tech to check my A/C. Joe was very knowledgeable, direct and courteous. After discussing options, he referred me to Aaron. Aaron was very easy to work with and gave me a 2nd opinion. I found them to be conscientious, straightforward and decent; they are an impressive outfit. I will be contacting them again to buy a service and maintenance contract.

Air Conditioner went out at 8:00 pm and call provider and they were able to come the same evening to perform the repair. The after hours service call charge was $119. The technician called beforehand to let me know he was on the way. Once here he asked what happened and diagnosis the problem right away and replace the capacitor. I was gratefully that they were able to come out at the late hour but I certainly paid a hefty price for the repair.

I was ready to change the entire unit since it is 12 years old. The technician out me at ease by telling me that with the new parts, I just extended the life of my unit for at least 5 years. Rest assure that I will use Damiani Comfort Design when it comes time to replace my AC unit. The job was done fantastically, very professional. We couldn't have been more pleased. RECOMMEND Comfort Design!

Super professional, punctual, and I assume the problem was diagnosed and fixed quickly. I found the price to be outlandishly high. More than 300 dollars, with coupon, for perhaps 30 minutes of work and what looked like a cheap part (although understandable service charge higher on a Sunday). Felt like I had a wallet biopsy performed on me.

Good service. The technician was quick to solve the problem and was pleasant in his manner. The price was reasonable.

We were very happy with them. If you need them out to your house, they try to accommodate you as quickly as they can, which I really appreciate, and the workers will try and work around your schedule. It's like a feeling of a small town type of company that wants to make sure you're satisfied.

I love this company. When I call them, they know me by name and I feel like a valued customer that they want to please. They are responsive, they schedule in advance and show up on time, and are very professional. I have also spoken to many of the HVAC guys that come to my house and they are well trained and kept up to date on the latest technologies and trends. For example, they went out of their way to explain to me why a carbon monoxide detector is so important and the guy told me about the video he had watched and how sad it was when people lose their lives for something that is so easily prevented. Great company, I highly recommend them.

Company is great, and service was great. The only thing I felt is that the parts are overpriced. Overall highly recommend. They are a small family oriented company.

Art showed up right on time and was very professional. I explained that the upstairs unit was not cooling past a certain temperature and that we had a small leak previously repaired on that unit. He went into the attic and checked and found the unit was low on Freon. He stated he could replace the Freon and/or replace the unit. He offered to have someone come out and give a replacement estimate. He stated the Freon recharge would be around $300, but he could not guarantee how long it would last. I asked him to recharge the Freon and he promptly did so. He said the second unit did not have any problems. He explained what he had done after completion, presented the bill, took payment by credit card through his telephone using the Square app. (which was very convenient). I was very pleased with the service, knowledge and professionalism of the repairman. Very unobtrusive, polite, quick and thorough.

great. it took two days of work in my attic which was really hot. the two workmen where polite work non stop and always let me know what was going on. they where good with my animals.

Lee is so thorough and will explain everything to you in great detail. He will even point out how there may be repairs needed in the future and how to watch out for them. We have used their services for several years. When we have had any problems, they responded and came quickly. The thing that I believe about Lee, is that he is looking out for me before he is looking out for himself and his company. I will be purchasing a maintenance contact with them once the warranty is up on my new home.

The technicians at Comfort Design service our AC/Heater every 6 months, and they have always been honest and straightforward with us about what needs to be done. They came earlier in the week and discovered a serious problem in our unit. We had been putting off getting a new unit for several years now, but we knew that it was time to finally make the investment. We were able to get someone out the same day to give us a price quote on a new unit, and 3 days later, we have had it completely installed. They showed up on time, and although they were here the entire day, they were completely non-intrusive. This truly is a wonderful company, and I am glad that all of those years ago, in the days before Angie's List, when we chose them randomly out of the phone book, that they have turned out to be such a great company for us to have to come and do work for us.

They have been very prompt and good. They can even come at night and that is wonderful. They are pleasant and professional. I feel comfortable working with them even if I am alone at home. They are also nice to my cats. They are also nice in giving recommendations or options but I never felt pressured to do more than what we are doing at that time.

Pleasant receptionist. Able to come in the same week I called. They did not ask beforehand about number of units. The price quoted in Angie's List is per unit, not per household. Once that was cleared up, serviceman worked diligently for 4-5 hours. He rectified several problems with the way the units had been installed four years ago, including too little coolant. He explained these issues as he went along, and gave me the option to not have more coolant added. Left some literature on establishing a service contract, but did not push it.

From the first call to the office to the end of the services we were very happy. Aaron was very professional, thorough and very personable. Dave the technician was superb! always let us know what the next step would be, had little problems here and there but he found solutions. We were extremely pleased with the company and their very professional people.

Went very well. The technician recommended the coils be cleaned and that was also completed.

I was very impressed with the quick response. I am sorry, but I cannot remember the gentleman's name who came to explain the system to me. He was exceptionally thorough. He took his time and he answered any questions I had. From the time I made the call for the estimate until the completion of the installation and clean-up was three days.

Lee was very professional and careful not to get anything dirty, he even hauled away my old filters. Thank you Lee.

We've had Comfort Design servicing our unit for a while. They were not pushy which we appreciated. They gave us several options to choose from. Will definitely use again.

I can't say enough good things about this company! TOTALLY AWESOME, even in CAPS, isn't enough. I purchased my entire home AC and heating system through Comfort design, and even have the six month check up plan with them. (as a side note, I used them to put in a new system in a second home, too.). I called at 7:30pm when I realized my house wasn't cooling properly--and they were out in a flash without blinking an eye. This is a local, small, family owned business that obviously strives for customer satisfaction. They know us by name and address-- and the workers have been with the company a long time, which says a lot in my opinion. I love Comfort Design and have recommended them to everyone I know. Very reliable, friendly, and cost efficient. You won't go wrong by hiring this company for either repairs or installation of a new AC or heating system. They know their stuff--as recognized when the technician installed a new motor in the dark--all with a great customer service attitude! This is the type of company that the USA is known for!

They gave me a window of 2-4pm when I called them around 10am. Ended up coming a little after 4 but called to say they were running late. Checked the units and gave a detailed run-down of all the issues. Basically it just needed freon. Said the coil was a little rusty but couldnt tell if there was a leak or not. Said we could wait until next year and see how it responds but may need a replacement. Also said there were some insulation issues with the hose in the attic, but they don't do that type of work. He was very professional. He put in 4 pounds of freon and charged half of what the other company did. Will definitely be calling them again.

They did a great job and were very professional and friendly. They took a lot of time explaining our problems with the duct work system and suggested several options. They thoroughly explained the cost and benefits of each option.

The technician arrived on time and quickly went about his work cleaning the system on our new home. He started in the attic, since it's summer, and didn't complain although he was up there for an hour. He cleaned the outdoor units and was done with the new home. Onto our old home, which had been freezing up the past few weeks. He said the freon level was a bit low (that was what I expected) and cleaned the indoor and outdoor units before topping the system off with freon. Overall, 2 1/2 hours for 3 systems in two homes and we were happy customers. Unlike the past A/C guys I've dealt with, he truly seemed like a technician, not a salesman. He gave us a suggestion to improve the system (adding an additional return duct to improve the airflow) and showed us how we could easily DIY, or call them for a quote (said it should be under $300). We will be calling them again this fall to tune-up our heating system. Update: Pleased with the annual maintainance on our furnace. Arrived on time, took the time necessary to thoroughly clean and examine our system and explained a couple adjustments made. Gave a suggestion for future upgrades to improve efficiency. Pleased as usual. We will use them again next spring and fall.
