Work was completed quickly and tech was professional. I would hire again.

I submitted my problem online and received a reply very quickly. The technician suggested that I send a photo of the problem, and I could save a $45 service fee. I did and he called me in minutes and gave me a price. He showed up on time as we had decided, and very quickly fixed my problems in a professional manner. I would definitely call this company again if the need arises.

The company's website says to call for a free quote, but then what they don't advertise is that the free quote does not apply to all job types, and they charge $45 to provide an estimate (which is basically a deposit for them to do the job). Since this is misleading, I would not use this company for work and will go with a more transparent company.

From start to finish, the folks at Chambliss Plumbing were thorough and professional. We would definitely hire them again!

They arrived when promised. The job was performed quickly and they were professional. Getting a quote and setting up the appointment was quick and easy and I paid what was quoted. Very happy and will hire again when I need a plumber.

Great! Water Heater did not need to be replaced. Bib was not tighten previously and was leaking..

James Ramos has done plumbing work for us in the past and we have always been extremely please with the service. You can't go wrong with Chambliss Plumbing.

When I noticed water overflowing the drip pan of my hot water heater onto the garage floor, I knew I was in need of a plumber. This happened on Saturday morning (2/23/19) and I knew my options for someone to come and help me were going to be limited. I immediately went to Angie's List and found Chambliss Plumbing Company whom had great reviews and recommendations so I gave them a call. The person who answered the phone asked me some questions regarding the water heater I had. Based on our discussion, he told me someone would be at my home that day and would bring a new hot water heater with them should mine need to be replaced. Within a few hours of my call to Chambliss Plumbing, James Ramos arrived. As it turned out, my hot water heater really did need to be replaced as it was about 8 years old. James explained to me in detail what was wrong with my old hot water heater, and why it needed to be replaced. After agreeing on a price, which included an Angie's 5% discount, James proceeded to replace the faulty water heater. The skill and professionalism of James' work was outstanding. Once he had the old water heater out of the closet, he vacuumed up the water which had overflowed the drip pan. When James replaced my hot water heater, he also replaced all of the connections, hoses, and even the gas cut off valve. As I watched James, I was so impressed by how he went about is job ensuring all connections were sealed and seated properly. I was also impressed with how he was so professional and patient with me when asking all of my questions. When James was finished installing my new hot water heater, he even checked the water pressure coming into my home to ensure it was of the proper pressure. Before James left he made sure all the water on the garage floor was wiped up and explained in detail the warranties for the new hot water heater. When James drove off after completing the job, I knew from now on Chambliss Plumbing Company would always have my future plumbing business.

The work performed was excellent, this was the second water heater that we purchased from them. Our home has two water heaters they were 18 yrs old and needed replacement.

Again, EXCEPTIONAL work and attitude! Clayton and Alba were highly professional, efficient and both did an excellent job. Whenever Chambliss plumbers come to my home, I know I will not be disappointed. They are very honest, and helpful in answering questions. The office staff is equally professional and helpful. From the time you call Chambliss to the finish of the job, you will be very satisfied. I highly recommend Chambliss Plumbing.

First, let me say we are not related to anyone at this company, don't know anyone who works there, and don't know anyone who does. Company was recommended by a neighbor. That said, the experience we had with this company is probably the best with any service company thus far. Pleasure dealing with everyone from the office staff to Andre and his crew. The line replacement required a trench through the driveway and sidewalk to the porch -- Their concrete person did a great job. Based on research and estimates, the cost was very reasonable and in fact less than the plumbing company we've used for 5+ years. It was an ordeal trying to get this project started, but once we made a decision as to what company to hire to do the job, Chambliss took over and got the job done. The city inspection was no problem, and again, based on our research and answers to questions from the crew, and what we were able to observe personally, we have no reason to believe that the job was done in any way other than properly and competently.

Kevin Chambliss and another person came promptly to take away our non-working water softener and installed a new one. They were extremely knowledgeable, explained everything very well, efficient and thorough. They worked very quickly and even cleaned up the mess of salt pellets that were previously on our garage floor as well as any mess that had made in installing. After researching many company's prices and warranties, this seemed like a very reasonable price and clearly a reputable company to go with. Further, this was my second experience having Chambliss do plumbing work for me and both experiences have gone very well. Highly recommend!

Excellent 5 star job by Troy, the licensed plumber sent to make the installation. He was highly knowledgeable and worked hard and fast to get the job done - replaced a 25 year old heater with a new Rheems model so several code upgrades were required and completed in a very professional manner by Troy. Highly recommend both the company and the employee who did the work. Old heater had a very slow leak and they came out the very next day to replace it.

I was promised I would get a call 30 minutes before they arrived, they honored that commitment. He walked me through the steps he would take to solve it, his diagnosis was very good, first try didn't fix, said he had to go deeper, then completed the project. Rueben and his partner were very professional and I would hire again.

Went very well, put in a high quality (so far) water heater quickly and efficiently. Did upgrades too to codes and operation. They do seem to be expensive but I’m happy. Lesson - even though my last wh lasted for over 12 years, I did NOT drain it like I should have. Difference was quick and amazing! I will try to be better

Job took two trips because valve on exterior of the home was difficult to replace. Troy and Clavin were careful to minimize damage to exterior stucco and we ended up with an excellent looking job when they were finished. Chambliss is best plumbing company we have hired to date.

Chambliss did a very good job at installing a new water heater in our home. We are very happy with the work they performed. We will be calling them back for our 2nd water heater that needs to be replaced.

Appointment was between 3 and 5pm. They called at 3:30 and arrived at 4PM. Told them the issue and they went right to work. After about 30 minutes of work they had discovered the problem and provided me two courses of action; They could either repair existing PRV (temporary fix) or provide a new one. I appreciate them not trying to swindle me, they could have repaired the exisitng PRV but I opted for a new one and was given a quote. I was in control of the situation the whole time and I appreciate their professionalism and courtesy. Best plumbers you could hire in the SA area. Highly recommend.

Service was flawless. I had them check all toilet fixtures and they replaced the units that needed it. Checked outside faucets as I was having problems with leaking on both but only needed to replace one per their advice. They also answereed my questions on water heater maitenance though no service was needed.

I was told it would cost $110 for the first hour and $55 per half hour after. My front porch camera proves that they were here less than 30 minutes (including having a 5 min. conversation in the midst of the job). I was charged $165 and after thinking about it I decided to call and express my displeasure with being overcharged. The owner called me to tell me that I am lucky he didn't charge me for two guys (I didn't ask for two guys) and that there is an equipment rental charge that they forgot to inform me about. He acted as if this was my fault and he was very defensive. It became apparent to me very quickly that he didn't want to keep me as a customer. The funny thing is I wasn't even asking for a refund, I just thought it was a bad business practice to overcharge a customer. His plumbers were great but the owner, not so much!
