Description of Work: My lawn mower was repaired. The only complaint I really have is that the location or the parking lot, is hard to get in and out of. And no one called when it was ready. I had to call them and it had been sitting and ready |Overall, I'd use the service again and I'd recommend.

Description of Work: I called explained our mower wasn't running. They said they would go ahead & fix it if the repairs were $80 or less. If they were more they would call before doing any repairs. They had our mower about three days, called said it was done. At pick up they explained the problem & how to avoid it. It has been working great since.

Description of Work: Fixed my Craftsman mower very quickly. Initially all they would say was that it would be ready in less than a week. It ended up being just two days. After I retrieved it, it started right up and seems to be running like a champ! In the event it needs more work or if I have other small engine issues, I would definitely seek out the technicians at Blanco Fix-It.

Description of Work: This "Mom and Pop" business is one of the best in town! (Aaron and Terry Cox). Anyway, I have two lawnmowers that required servicing and carburetors cleaned. First lawnmower didn't require as much work as the second one because of a required carburetor kit. First one cost around $50 and second one around $80. (This is on par with lawnmower repair). Where Blanco FixIt stands above its competitors is that they have a shorter turnaround time and more importantly, take the time to talk with you and are genuinely concerned about the issue at hand. Additionally, Aaron (the owner) told me as he shook my hand, "Don't hesitate to contact him if any problems/issues. I take pride in my work." Wow, that really made me a repeat customer. There's a reason why so many folks on Angie's List grade them with an "A." Side note: I had originally brought my lawnmowers into another lawnmower repair shop down the street (won't mention the name), and waited in line for over 5 minutes or so. Owner was too busy shooting the S%#* about something and never acknowledged my presence. Anyway, the rest is history and quite glad that I was blown off at the other repair shop. Bottom line: Superb customer service, professionalism, and folks that takes great pride in their work for a very fair price. You be the judge.

+ -1 moreI took my mower and chipper in for repair. Mower ran badly and the chipper would not start. At first, they were reluctant to take the chipper because of the size, but graciously took the chipper since it was a familiar Brigs Stratton engine and I had another item. They were great, honest and hardworking. I felt they were not out to a get as much money as they could from me.
Description of Work: I needed my filter cleaned on the mower and Carburator rebuilt.

Also stated should be complete within seven days. However two days later they called and it was ready and the price was half of wated i was expecting. Will definately use them again.

+ -1 moreThe lawn mover was ready in two days, most places would have taken at least a week. Also, the cost was only $50, here again most places would have charged around a $100. All round a great experience.

+ -1 moreI heard a large bang while mowing my lawn and the engine was locked up and wouldn't start. I took it to Blanco Fixit, expecting major damage. They called me back within two hours to tell me the mower was fixed. What happened is that the blade guard which hangs down in the back had gotten caught in the blade. They were able to remove it and straighten it out so that I could still use it. They didn't charge me a diagnostic fee. I asked them to sharpen the blade while they had it and the total bill was only $13. They were very honest and helpful.
Description of Work: Removed stuck blade guard and sharpened blade on lawn mower.
