Outstanding! I dropped my mower off for repair on Tuesday afternoon. It was repaired and ready for pick up on Wednesday morning.

This was one of the best experiences I have had with a business in a long time. I dropped off my lawn mower and was told that if the repair was under $80 they would fix it automatically, over $80 they would get my approval. They asked me to call in two business days for the status of my repair and imagine my shock when I was told the mower was ready and running and the total cost was $31.89! I couldn't ask for a smoother process and highly recommend this company. They are honest, upfront and deliver exactly what they promise to do.

I usually don?t write reviews but this place is outstanding. I have a $200 Home Depot lawnmower which is less 6 months old. A plastic part snapped off which made the mower totally unusable. The part was attached to the front axle so that would have required replacement. They were able to do a rebuild and get me out the next day for under $25. They are clearly the go to place for any lawn mower repairs in San Antonio.

They ended up installing a new motor and did a great job!

The place is huge, but evidently very organized. I took in a lawn mower that wouldn't start. They fixed it in just a couple of days. They sharpened my loppers, too. The price was definitely reasonable, and it didn't take them long to get it done. I'd definitely use them again.

Blanco Fixit has worked on our lawn mower in the past.. It's a large Toro. When our daughter's Toro Recycler suddenly stopped working, we returned to this great and timely service provider who we originally found on Angie's List. It's a family business and they take pride in their customer service. It turned out the mower needed a part that enabled to spark plug to fire up. They also installed a new spark plug. We took it in on May 8 and, as promised, it was ready on May 12. During the summer season, it gets a bit busy. The phone number listed on Angie's List, 210-349-1617, is correct. Sometimes it takes time for them to get from the shop to the front desk. They will answer your call.

My fairly new lawnmower wouldn't start so I took it in to Blanco Fixit. They had it ready in 1 day - the problem was minor but I didn't feel like putting my mediocre mechanical skills to the test and probably end up having to call the pros anyway. The people were courteous and professional. Punkin, the resident calico cat, was friendly and let me pet her. The lady at the counter (don't remember her name, sorry) said the shop had been in that same location, an unairconditioned tin warehouse, since the 1980s. The interior is unpretentious and well-worn with grease and grit blackening every surface - evidence of countless repair jobs before mine. All the signs point to Blanco Fixit being a place that genuinely knows its business.

Read great reviews on Angie's List so I gave them a call. They were super pleasant and informative. Brought mower in and received back in less than a week.

The self-propel on my Toro Personal Pace walk behind mower stopped working. I ordered on-line and installed a new transmission and drive belt, but I didn't put it back together correctly so the propel still didn't work. I took the mower to Blanco Fixit on a Wednesday and was told it would be less than a week. They had it fixed in two days. Picked it up Friday and it runs good as new! Thank you Blanco Fixit for excellent work at a very reasonable price!

No service as they were not able to do the work as quick as I needed at the time, of np fault of theirs, I was in a hurry.

I had a 20+ year old Snapper mower that had not been started in over 10+ years. Took it to Blanco FixIt to see if it was worth saving. They got it up and running quickly. Cleaned the carb and check it out. Runs good. Was done very qucikly.

They are very quick and responsive and only repaired what needed to be repaired. They examimed the mower and told me what was wrong before I left the shop. I thought it was the belt. They explained how the Toro's transmissions go bad over the years. It made all the difference in the world. It mows like a new mower.

They did a great job from time I dropped off for consultation to picking up and the tips they offered for better performance.

Hassle fee, prompt and reasonable. Also of note, the only small engine repair shop I've seen that was both busy and CLEAN.

I went to Blanco Fixit. Teresa and her husband very warmly greeted me and came up with the idea by changing the rubber rolls on the back of the mower and replace it with a PVC pipe. So I went to Home Depot and bought a piece of PVC pipe and caps and took it back over there. 2 days later, it was sharpened and ready and it has worked pretty well. I am very pleased with their services. I shall go back and have them to sharpened my blades next growing season.

My mower would not stay cranked, having checked every possible thing to try and fix it -nothing worked. Having just moved to the area and not knowing anyone who could recommend me to a good lawn mower repair shop...I turned to Angie's List hoping to find a solution to my problem. After searching several shops, I found Blanco Fixit with a high recommendation and after reading the reviews, decided to give them a call. The gentleman who answered was very nice, told him the problem I was having with my mower, he told me to bring it to him as soon as I could and that he was pretty sure he could fix it for me. He told me that if the repair was over $75, he would call me before he performed the work. Dropped the mower off at his shop(on a Monday), the lady there helped me with my mower, assured me also if the repair was more than $75, they would call me first and the work should be completed by Wednesday afternoon, to give her a call to make sure. Called them on Wednesday afternoon, my mower was ready and the cost of the repair was only $55.57! They even cleaned my mower and it looks like a new mower! ...and runs like one also! Very nice people! It's good to know that there are still folks that genuinely care about their customers and doing a very good job also! I would recommend this business to anyone who wants great service and a job well done...and very reasonable priced! and would use them again if needed. I was very pleased with the work and the price!

Good, fast, and cheap. Kept it two days. Charged $10. My former repair shop charges $20 just to diagnose, kept it for at least a week, and i never left there without paying at least $60.

Dropped the mower off on a Monday and it was ready by Wednesday. I drove 30 miles to have the work done there due to the reviews I read on Angie's list. Price was quoted when I dropped the mower off that was what I paid. i highly recommend this repair shop to anyone who wants their mower repaired correctly and at a decent price. I will use them again.

This was the best deal I've gotten in a long time!! They knew exactly what to do and fixed it in a couple of days!

We found Blanco FixIt on Angie's List. I called and spoke to Terry who explained that a tune-up could be approximately $65. We brought it in on Monday, and by Tuesday morning they had the work completed. I couldn't believe how fast they were and we are right at their busiest season...beginning of spring. They only charged what was necessary bringing the price below what they quoted for $53.52. Terry was very pleasant. This family-owned business has been around for 40 years. We would definitely take our lawn mower equipment back to them again and highly recommend them.

We found this family run business on Angie's List. Our Tora self-propelled mower wasn't running well and the blade needed to be sharpened. The filters needed replacements. The mower bag had collected dirt and grass within the inner bag through a fine tear. They suggested we go to a local place if we wanted to replace the bag. It would be cheaper for us to do it that way. We learned the fine points on charging the battery and where to find a replacement battery when it was needed. The work was completed in just a few days. What a great service provider!

Toro mower fixed within 2 days for a very reasonable fee. They didn't try to talk me into extra work (tune-up, oil change, etc) which many places probably would have tried to do. Staff did make recommendations on eventual needed maintenance as well as general info on using fresh gasoline due to ethanol-based gasoline's tendency to degrade relatively quickly. I won't be taking my mower anywhere else in the future!
