BDR's work was absolutely spot-on! From my initial contact with owners Neil & Leanne to the expertly finished product of Turner, I was both extremely pleased and and grateful. Turner arrived promptly and ready to refinish my front door. He worked diligently for over 5+ hours and often explaining each step of his process to me (and asking for my opinions and final approval). We have the original solid mahogany entry door to our 1975 home. The door was weather-faded on the exterior and had deep scratches on the interior from a previous owner's large dog. The door is now a stunner! They stripped all the layers of stain, sanded down the dog scratches and revitalized the carvings so carefully. Amazing work!!

Neil, the owner/finisher, arrived a few minutes before 8:00 AM. He took the time to answer my questions about possibly doing the painted back door, then set up to work on the front door. He then removed the hardware from the door and took the door outside and placed it on two plastic saw horses on the driveway. He used four clamps (2 top & 2 bottom) to hang a canvas drop cloth over the entry way to retain the AC and keep out the insects. Neil was very courteous and professional throughout the process, and the job was completed within the time frame expected. When the job was complete, Neil gave instructions on the maintenance and care of the door. The job site was left just as clean as it was when he started.

It all went extremely well. They addressed our major concern about matching the existing finish as we could not even provide a reference for them to match. They nailed it! The guys took great pains to properly prepare the doors and to ensure that areas around the doors and side lights were taped off and protected. When the doors were removed, the openings were carefully closed off to keep insects etc., out. The guys were very courteous, professional and very good natured. We loved the finished result...the doors look amazing! The price paid was exactly as agreed in the written quotation. To sum it up, we are extremely pleased with the work Biggins did for us and can recommend them without reservation.

Mr. Biggins did a fantastic job with our door! He refinished both the interior and exterior sides of it--all in one day. The interior side turned out to be a bigger deal than my husband and I had anticipated--Mr. Biggins painstaking removed old paint from that side of the door with great patience and skill. He stayed well past 5 to finish the job and it looks fantastic! The price was more than fair, too. We're so pleased and proud of it now! He and his wife have been exceedingly professional, responsive and friendly. You sometimes worry about what you might get when you find a business online, but their reviews were excellent, and we're happy to add another glowing review to their collection. So glad we found them!!

Taylor did an amazing job. He was punctual, professional and above all, was an expert on his work and was kind. Taylor came prepared and was efficient with his time. Leanne was great at communicating and making things simple. We were shocked in the best way by how well the door turned out. I had no idea the door had potential after 3 yrs of weather damage, mostly from direct-sun light. My husband was equally impressed. We have had a door redone in the past (prior to this home) and this was a far better experience and this time around was a far better result. We would, without a doubt, recommend Taylor and the Biggins crew for anyone needing a door refurb.

Excellent service. My front door was 9 years old and weathered. The door was taken off its hinges and sanded to remove the old stain. I was offered a selection of stains, it was tested, and when I confirmed the color, the door was re-stained. Now it looks brand new. If you have new hardware, they will install it for you.

Taylor arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time and was ready to go to work. He was quick to get his tools and work area ready and had the door hardware removed and the door off the hinges and the cleaning process started in no time. He covered the opening with a tarp to keep the leaves and bugs from coming in while he worked. He stripped the door, sanded down to bare wood and then stained it before applying 4 coats of urethane. He even had me verify the best color match of stain before he did the whole door. He added a new door sweep prior to reinstalling. He was quick, professional and the door now looks like a new door. He did a fantastic job
