They were on time and did a great job. Our door was worn and faded; even had some cracks. It looks great after they sanded and restrained it. I’m interested to see how the marine-grade clear coat holds up after a year too. I think $400 is a lot to pay but that’s what all of them are charging now. And the door definitely looks way better. I am glad we had it done.

The entire process was a pleasant experience. They were able to come by over the weekend allowing me to be home without taking time off of work. They were very friendly and explained the process (and the cause of damage) very thoroughly. Completed the work in a quick timeline but did so with a great level of quality.

GREAT JOB! Looks almost like new! It is over 20 years old and after they were finished it looked like when it was first installed. Front door looks better than new ! Very detailed finishing by getting into the small grooves of the trim around the windows . Followed exactly what he says. I've finished my own furniture so understand the work involved. So Neil is very good

Original builder finish to our front door did not last 3 years so I called Biggins Door Refinishing. They were prompt, professional, stripped door to bare wood, restained with multiple coats of gloss finish. All done in 4-5 hrs. Price was reasonable. Highly recommend.

Taylor did a great job. He sanded, stained & sealed the door with several coats. Taylor even noticed that the edge of the door (where the hinges are attached) had apparently not been done well by the original installer so he also took care of refinishing and sealing that edge, something that could have gone unnoticed. He was easy to work with, he explained the entire process and he was polite & professional. I will definitely use Biggin's again. They also offer a very affordable maintenance program (every 12-18 months) which I intend to use. Our doors take a beating in the hot Texas sun but you would never know it after Taylor was finished!

Terrific! Our door looks brand new (even though it’s 16 yrs old). Taylor explained everything, provided us options and asked for our input. He even told us how to contact the hardware manufacturer to request new lock sets. I’d hire Biggins again in a minute. Veteran owned business too.

Neil arrived at designated time. He set up awning in front of house and went to work. Our front door is wood with a lot of raised detail work and glass window. There were several scratches on the interior side which the dog had made. Neil took it down to bare wood, then put a beautiful new finish on both sides. He worked all day, and I love the results.
