After James refinished my front door it looked great. It was transformed from dried out wood and faded statin to a rich stain and clear finish. It looked very much like a new door. Unfortunately, about one week after completion of the work the finish on the door began to show something that looked like water streaks or water marks on a section of the door. I wasn't sure what could have caused this to happen other than the possibility of rain making contact with the door before it was completely dry. I called Biggin's and explained the problem I was having. Leanne was very apologetic and quickly helped me schedule an appointment so the door could be examined and solution found. Neil looked at my door and stated that the stains/marks were something of a mystery and he couldn't say with certainty what caused the marks. However, the important thing is that he scheduled a follow-up appointment to correct the issue. He and James refinished to door to the bare wood (again) and applied new stain and clear coat. Once again the door looked great and it hasn't displayed the same "mystery" marks as before. In my opinion great customer service is not only defined by the quality of the work done but also the willingness to make things right when they don't go as planned. Neil, James, and Leanne understand this and will make sure that you are happy with the results of their work.

James did a great job. Because of a wax build-up, it took him all day to complete the difficult job. I was not charged extra, in spite of the extra time required. The door looks beautiful. I will certainly be using their services in the future!

These doors were about 15 years old and had only been touched up. They look amazing. These guys are very professional, take their time along every step, and keep there work area tidy. Also, they put up a tarp over the door opening after they removed the doors. Yes, they are one of the few refinishers that remove the doors and replace the seals, and re-adjust the thresholds after installing the doors. They do excellent work.

Neil and his assistant were wonderful! They took my front door off, covered the opening, then stripped it down to the wood. Restained and put 3 coats of finish. Added a new draft strip as well as replace the old weather stripping in the frame. They remove all the old hardware and put it back for you. Before coming out, they sent an invoice stating what the cost would be, as well as phone numbers to several of the major providers of the door hardware. They said that the majority of these companies provided a lifetime guarantee on the finish and if the old hardware was tarnished or needed to be replaced, to call the company who make it, ie, kwikset, Schalge, etc. That in the majority of the cases, they would send you new hardware which Neil would install for you when he did your door. He even said that if the hardware did not come in by the time he did my door, he would come back and put it in after the fact. Mine, fortunately did not need replacing. I am so please with the work that they did! Looks like a brand new door! I would SOO recommend them to anyone!!

It was 20+ years old and the oak was weathered to gray in some areas. Neil and James got all of the old stain completely off and the new stain looks very nice. It looks like a new door. Professional and courteous. Would use them again for sure.

Simply amazing. Neil arrived 20 minutes early and immediately got to work. Our 8ft door was badly worn and sun damaged. Neil is truly an expert, my door now looks simply brand new, and my neighbors came over asking for his card. He worked steady on the door from 08:30 till 2pm with no breaks. I stopped him once and demanded he take a bottled water from me. Neil is a first rate professional, very friendly and courteous...he even took measures to make sure our door entry was covered so that air conditioning and pets couldn't get out. He is also a veteran from the US Army. I will call no one but Neil in the future and plan to tell me neighbors and friends to include one that owns a Re-Max real estate company. USE NEIL HE IS SIMPLY AMAZING

Neil and James arrived on time and started work. They removed doors and sanded down to bear wood. Then stained and applied several finishing coats. The doors look great. We are very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Biggins Doors, good people.

He did an absolute magnificent job on my front door. He was here for 8 hours. He really worked on it, he got it down to the raw wood and stained the polyurethane on it. It was beautifully done. I would highly recommend him to others.
