Description of Work: Our new kitchen sink clogged. Beyer was amazing- they responded quickly and were very considerate of our floors and home while clearing obstructions. We've also had great experiences with the company for air conditioning repair- responsive, professional, and quick to resolve problems!

Description of Work: Annual service. I pay $22/mo as part of a service plan with discounts on parts and services. Winter and summer checks are free.

Description of Work: Friday night emergency service. Took about 3 hours to complete b/c technician had to replace a fan motor in the indoor unit. After repair, the fan made loud noise. Called Beyer back on Monday. Was told it was a "Friday Night Fan Motor" by the second technician. Not sure what that means. Supposedly replaced the fan motor again. Still makes a lot of noise. | |I have used Beyer for years; this service just wasn't up to their usual standards. I will be calling them back a second time to complain about the noisy fan motor.

Description of Work: AC went out after 6pm. Our usual AC repair company couldn't make it out to us until the next afternoon. Called Beyer Boys and they were there in an hour. Quite impressive, since we live 15 minutes outside 1604. Prompt, courteous, honest service!

Description of Work: He arrived earlier than the window had suggested, which worked well for me, and he called ahead of time. He snaked a clog in the "clean out" from my kitchen sink. It is a recurrent problem for us, so he offered some advice on how to prevent it. |My only hesitation with calling them again is that they cost $85 more than the previous plumbing company, for the same service.

Description of Work: We had a spraying leak in a old faucet in the middle of the yard. The pipe was split below the valve. They capped the valve and gave us an estimate of what it would take and cost to remove it.

Description of Work: We had a broken pipe in the front of our house. Another plumber gave us an astronomical amount to fix it. Beyer Boys came right out and fixed it with no problem.

Description of Work: I purchased my home, new, approx 10 years ago, but I have constantly been replacing freon for the past 4 years, just small amounts, but replacing it just the same. Recently, it stopped holding it altogether because of a bad leak in my coils. The Beyer Boys came out to my home and gave me an estimate and I shopped around. Another vendor came to my house and said that he could beat the price and do a better job, but after pressing him about the actual work the price swelled way beyond my quote from The Beyer Boys. It took a couple of days in the heat to realize that this individual was in over his head. No problem, after some scheduling problems (on my end) a date was set and I was thoroughly grateful for the honesty and integrity of work that went in to my unit. The house was well taken care of and my furniture was taken into consideration as well. Also, there was a problem with my wiring and the structure in placement of my old unit during the building process, I was informed and it was properly fixed at no extra cost. The timing of the job was exactly what was promised. Very pleased with the work and VERY pleased with the gentlemen who installed it. I don't plan on needing them in the future (thank goodness), but if the need arises, they'll be my first call.

Description of Work: There didn't seem to be a benefit from being an Angie's list member. When I filled out the form, I got a canned email asking me to call the number to schedule a visit. When I called, the person on the line didn't know anything about me, the information I entered on your web site or any special benefits from being a member. He did schedule a call and the guys showed up on time and did what needed to be done. The price was higher than what the plumber I usually use charges me. Unfortunately, he wasn't available that week but I will definitely go back to him for future service.
