Beyer Boys A/C, Heating & Plumbing

Beyer arrived on time and completed the project as projected even when it became apparent that the configuration in our attic was problematic. They brought extra crew out to ensure that the project would be finished in one day.

Plumbing techs were very friendly, however, for the minor repair it was very costly.

We used them for years. We have them on a twice a year thing. They were out in the beginning of summer to check the A/C and when it gets cold they check the heating. I don't remember the cost; it's probably less than what two service calls would be. Otherwise, we wouldn't be using them on an annual basis. We've never had any problems with them. They've handled our A/C work for years and have always done a great job.

One hot summer day, two units replaced, no problems! Fair price and one year courtesy service.

Since I was already on the Beyer Care Plan, they kept my old units functioning (at no extra charge) until they could get to the replacement service (due to previously scheduled work). The installation (and removal of old systems) went extremely well. Crew arrived on time and immediately went to work and did not stop until the job was completed. Despite the heat in the attic, they were very professional. After installation completed, they informed us how to use the new thermostats and checked for our concerns as to proper air distribution.

I had used another plumber who screwed me over, and Beyer Boys came in and did a great job. I will definitely use them again in the future.

It is part of a service contract that I have with them. They workers are very courteous and professional.

Beyer has visited my house once for the first scheduled inspection. The inspector was knowledgeable and through. And in my phone interactions with Beyer I have found them to be courteous and helpful. Granted I am still early in my "HVAC maintenance relationship" with Beyer, but I would say things are definitely off to a great start!

Fine. They opened the wall between rooms and stopped the leak. Came back the next day and patched the wall so it could be repainted. Did a nice job and the fact they came on a Sunday so promptly was wonderful.

No problems. Work done as required.

I needed an emergency repair and they arrived on time and performed the work as quick as possible. They performed a very professional job and we are very pleased. We purchased a new 10 year warranty Rheem Classic Professional Series water heater and had to have everything brought up to code.

I used them for a long time. We had a little problem giving me a good deal on replacing the system. I was kind of dissatisfied with how they handled that so I have quit using them. For a lot of years their maintenance people were just fine. I graded them low on pricing because that was the issue for replacing the new system. Responsiveness had been an A, but it took a while to work out the issue.

They were very good. There wasn't anything they did that wasn't good.

Part of the $700 was refunded. I bought new system from another company.

They are very good. I am on a contract with them, an annual contract. They come out periodically. They are punctual. They are very much so professional. I would use them in the future. They are very easy and professional, and friendly, and helpful. Very good. I don't deal with the managers usually because they people who do the work take care of everything.

The experience was very good. The quality of service was very good. They were basically doing things that I didn't have the expertise to do or the tools to do. They finished the job, and that's precisely what I called them out to do. They were there in a very good, timely manner and the pricing was good. I was very happy with what they did; they did it in a timely fashion, and I would definitely use them again.

Interesting that their site says they are closed today, a Saturday. We called this company on a Saturday morning receiving a recommendation through close friends. A Beyer Boy plumber came out within 1 hour of being called, and he basically came in to repair a mess left behind from a plumber we called yesterday who left us in a mess, he left us with a broken part left inside of our valve mechanism and no water and no offer to cap the water off at the shower, so we could have water elsewhere. We had to go all evening and early morning without water. Our guess is the plumber who initially came out was not qualified and or wanted to go home, afterall it was Friday afternoon and he was off for the weekend. At the very least he could've offered to cap off the valve and turn our water on elsewhere. First plumber informed us we had to have a complete shower valve replacement not repair so instead of the initial quote of $385, now the cost would be $1400!!! Beyer Boys repaired our shower valve for $274 instead of the $1400 quote we got from the first plumber. A replacement was not needed! It just needed to be repaired. Keep in mind this charge was for a Saturday morning call, we were not charged a service call or upcharged a weekend fee! How many plumbers offer that kind of service? No doubt, I will not use anyone else except Beyer Boys for my plumbing repairs, thank you so much for over the top, above and beyond service.

As always, the service was great. The team was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. Job site was cleaned and I was very pleased.

The team at Beyer Boys was very professional and arrived exactly when they said they would. They identified that the control board had gone bad and that the part was covered by warranty. Everything sounded great until on their way back to our house with the new control board, they told us that it would be a charge of $567. For what they estimated to be an hour and a half worth of work. Before they arrived at our home my wife called another local A/C company and received a quote of $130 to replace the exact same control board. When the repair technicians from Beyer Boys arrived with the part, we let them know that we wouldn't be using them to install the control board as we had found someone who would do it for a fraction of the price. They were again very professional and understanding, but we did have to pay them $154 for a service call and fee for "going to get the part". All in, including what we had to pay to Beyer Boys, we had the control board replaced and only spent a total of $290. I can't even begin to understand how they thought it was fair to charge us 4-5 times more than other reputable (and local) companies would. Seems very dishonest to me.

Called for a drain clean out. Simple. Asked how much, dispatcher said there was a $50 arrival fee and plumber would quote a flat fee when he arrived. So, it would cost me $50 to find out how much he was going to charge. This might make sense if it was a major job, not a simple snake run. This is the first time I've called a plumber for this and couldn't get at least a range of cost for the service. Open-ended, blind deal? I'll pass.

I’ve been using them for 10 years.

If there is anything that they find that is outside of the just normal checkup and that is covered by the maintenance contract then they do charge us, but there was no charge this last time. They are very efficient and professional. They call you ahead of time to tell you that it is time for your checkup and then we call back to schedule it and that scheduling is within just couple of days after we call. We have no complaints as we have been with them for a decade. I would use them in the future.

Altho a previous plumber had caused this and not been able to correct it, Beyer boys had it fixed within 15 min!

One person came out. It took about an hour. It was okay.
