I have been pleased with them. I would recommend them.

They did an outstanding job. They showed up when they were supposed to. Their estimate ended up right on. I would probably call them if I need to get my trees nourished. Their price was reasonable I think. The quality of work was good. They cleaned up to a considerable amount. They didn’t make me stay around the house forever. They were very responsive. In case of any concern, I mailed them and got the answer by afternoon. If they said that they would be there in the morning, they were there five minutes late. I can’t complain about that. They finished the work on time. The people I worked with were very professional. The people who came to trim the tree were one group and the people who came to spray the tree were another group. Both answered my questions reasonable and I could understand that. I would use them in the future.

Their representative provided a detailed estimate before I hired them, so I understood the services available and exactly what the costs would be. The work team arrived promptly on the scheduled day and finished their work in a timely manner. The trees looked terrific after their trim, as they were selective about which branches they cut and kept the overall shape of the trees. They are careful to seal all cuts and sterilize their equipment to prevent transmission of oak wilt. They checked to make sure I was happy with their work before they left, and my property was neat and clean when they were done. Communication before, during, and after the work was completed was excellent.

I scheduled an appointment for an estimate to trim trees back from the house and assess any additional attention the trees required. There was a 3-4 weeks of lead time due to their workload. Jacob arrived early on the appointed day, and we walked the yard while he assessed the situation and explained the planned work. The formal written estimate arrived a couple of days later (roughly as promised), and the work was completed in 4 stages over the next 2-3 weeks. Overall, we were happy. The price made my eyes water, which I had expected from my research, and that is why they were our second choice. The pruning portion of the estimate was about double what "Company A" had quoted. However, Bartlett did not require a deposit, which was reassuring, since we had to ask for a refund of our deposit from Company A, who failed to to contact us both before and after failing to show up on the appointed day. Jacob's responsiveness to questions and concerns exceeded my expectations. I'd say their main opportunity for improvement is communication about scheduling the work. After we accepted the bid, Jacob let me know that the work would be scheduled and I would receive a call from someone at the office. When the call came, the caller said that they would be coming to "do that tree work" on a particular day. When we arrived that evening, we found that only the excavation portion of the work had been done. Only after leaving messages for Jacob did we find out that the work was going to be performed incrementally by several different crews.

Overall, very well. I contacted office; they relayed message. Mr. Worrell came to inspect and provide estimate. He called later to inform about dates of service (fertilizing was done on one date; trimming on another). Workers showed up as expected; were polite. They did excellent job, and they cleaned up thoroughly.

They came promptly and removed the tree neatly in a day.

One of the oak trees in our back yard is estimated to be 150-200 years old. It shades our yard and house beautifully, so we take good care of the "old guy". Several years ago, a runaway "vine" on our fence started climbing into the tree. We knew we had a problem when we saw flowers on the top of the "old guy". We cut the part of the vine we could reach. The Bartlett arborist recommended removing the vine that was growing in the tree. I can't remember what we paid, but they did a good job - removed the vine from the tree, cleaned up after themselves. The price quoted is for fertilizing the trees and trimming/cabling branches away from the roof earlier this year.

It was a positive experience. They were very honest and upfront. They provided me some advice. They were very honest and they didn't think it was worth it to trim it for what their minimum price was.

After the storm, this large toppled tree came to rest across the top of our roof, and there were plate glass windows beneath it. They did a heroic job of removing the tree safely, with minimal damage to our property and no damage to the windows. This company charges more than some other local ones, but they are clearly professionals, and their crew is both skilled and well trained in the use of protective safety equipment. They were prompt and cleaned up afterwards.

They are superb, and I rate them high overall.

I have found them to be prompt and reliable. They are excellent at doing follow up calling. If they run behind, there is usually a good reason why they are running late. I will continue to use this company in the future.

There was another company that I called but they never responded. Bartlett did a good job and I don't really have any complaints about them. They dropped a couple of chunks on the roof but they are taking care of that. I had them leave the stump because it was an extra $460 so I'll do that myself.

They did an outstanding job on reshaping the pecan which was in pretty poor shape. The arborist was knowledgeable and very informative. He described the problems and solutions well.

This company did some tree trimming for me last year, at which time the arborist pointed out that the large live oak tree in our front yard looked stressed. He showed me some before and after photos of treatments they have administered for similar trees, and I called this year (after saving up) to have the work done. A different arborist came this time to do the estimate, and in addition to looking at the tree, he spent at least 30 minutes walking through the rest of the yard with me and examining the other trees and shrubs. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, answering my questions and giving me lots of advice about what I could do on my own to improve the condition of many of the other plants. He worked with me to plan how they would carry out the tree treatment, so that the work could be done efficiently while still saving some nearby shrubs that otherwise they would have removed. The estimate for the work compared closely to the estimate I had received the year before. I wasn't home when the work was done, but I could see afterwards that the workers had followed the instructions we had agreed on. They also took the time to leave me a hand-written note with a few suggestions about how to water the treated area afterwards. I have used this company several times before, and although I can't afford to use their services on a regular basis, for the occasional special task (including rescuing a stray cat from the very top of a 40-foot tree!), they are superb professionals. And unlike many tree services in our city, their workers use a complete set of safety equipment and take care to seal the cuts of trimmed branches.

Very friendly representative - John Worrell, came to do estimate. Work was completed in a timely manner. Everything seemed expensive, but since this is a new home on a recently cleared lot, I wanted to give the trees the best possible start. Did not get other estimates. Would not use company again, only because of cost involved.

They were recommended to me and I have recommended them to others. They came with an arbortist and he had a lot of suggestions. They were professional and reliable. They did a great clean up job.

They were punctual, professional, and efficient, didn't leave a bit of debris behind, and trimmed exactly the amount I had requested and no more. I am more likely to call them again for some major problem, like treating or removing a failing tree, than for routine trimming, because their service and their skills are more suited to the larger, more demanding jobs.

Came out for the estimate and said the tree removal was not necessary.

Theirs was the lowest bid out of 6 estimates, and they were able to perform the job 3 days after I accepted their bid. They were knowledgeable and professional, and clean-up was perfect. They arrived at the time they said they would, and the job took approximately the amount of time that they estimated. They were careful about their surroundings like the deck, flower beds, planters, etc. To present the lowest bid and provide such high quality work is pretty amazing!

They were very professional and did not charge for the evaluation. I had someone cheaper remove the dead tree.

Bartlett Tree Experts did a good job on our trees. I liked that they brought a chipper/shredder with them to dispose of all the branches. They got the trees done quickly and didn't tear up my yard at all. The guys that came out knew what they were doing and did an overall great job.

WORK PERFORMED IN A TIMELY PROFESSIONAL MANNER. HAVE USED THIS COMPANY TO MAINTAIN THE EXISTING TREES IN YARD FOR SEVERAL YEARS. THE TREES ARE OLD AND ANOTHER COMPANY RECOMMENDED REMOVAL. BARTLETT HAS WORKED WITH US TO MAINTAIN THE TREES AT A REDUCED COST ALTERNATIVE TO REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT.
