It went well, they were quick to get the work done and very thorough. Price was a bit high considering age/size of trees.

They have done it twice for us. It was a lot, because we were behind, and hadn't done it in a number of years. We had a follow-up with the fertilization in the last year. They were organized, punctual, and very knowledgeable.

Crew did an excellent job, arriving on time and reviewing required work with me prior to starting. Spent almost the whole day working up in the trees, carefully roping limbs prior to cutting so they could be lowered to the ground, avoiding extraneous damage. Supervisor Jacob West who had originally inspected the yard and wrote up the work proposal came by during the day to review progress, and suggested several additional items such as removing extraneous small trees to open up the yard and better feature desirable trees and vegetation. This work was done without additional charge. Crew requested I inspect the work, and gladly made such adjustments as I requested. They did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards, removing all debris. The work really transformed the yard. We had noticed dead branches prior to the work, but we hadn't realized how beautiful the trees could become.

Their bids were higher than others but I thought they were the most competent after interviewing other companies. Our trees were so large and overgrown that we had very little sun coming into the yard or house. They are shaped beautifully now and it looks very natural, not like it was shaped. They took care to paint over every cut in order to protect the tree from getting the devastating Live Oak Wilt disease. They were all very professional and friendly and they cleaned up so well that you would have never known they were there.

I was referred to Bartlett's by my insurance company. A representative came out to evaluate the trees and urged me to sign some documents promising that I would be responsible for the cost of the removal. I was hesitant because the price quoted was quite a bit more than my insurance company had said it would be. Their agent was adamant that I would not be put in queue for the removal crew without my signature on the documents. Since one of the trees was leaning quite dangerously and we were due more rain, I signed. Later I was able to confirm with my insurance company that they would cover the cost and I would only be responsible for my deductible which is $1000. The crew showed up the next day and worked very quickly and diligently removing both trees and their debris in about 6 hours. One of the trees was cut down to less than five inches. The other, which is on my fenceline was cut with approximately 18 inches of stump remaining. I asked the crew about it and they said their chainsaw couldn't cut it. I asked the crew leader if I could pay with a credit card or if I should write them a check. He told me that I needed to pay the company, not him. I called later and asked the representative with whom I'd booked the service about cutting the large stump lower and he also claimed it couldn't be done but that for an additional $510, they could grind the stump down. I explained that I'd just like the one tree cut down as low as the other one but he again claimed it could not be done. While all this is going on, I get a message from the insurance company that they've issued a $2000 payment to Bartlett's. One week later, Bartlett's sent me a bill for the full amount, in excess of $3000. I don't know whether this is a clerical error or they're just greedy.

We were contacted promptly. An appointment was made to visit our home and look at the trees and they arrived on time. Within a couple of days they came back to my house and completed the job, cleaning up after they were through. The did a very professional job and the trees now look great. I am very satisfied with the job performed and I will recommend them to others needing a tree service.

very well. I refer others to Bartlett. I don't recall the cost exactly, but it was within expectations and I was confident they would do a good job. There are plenty of tree "butchers" out there.

They come and give me an estimate for all the work but some of the work has to be done certain times of the year. That’s what I pay for. I think they are a little bit on the high side on price but they do a good job. For the tree trimming, they do the trimming and do all the cleanup. I don’t have anything left around. I know that when they did the tree trimming here, they were here most of the day. The people were really nice. One of their manager or owner came out both times. When the crew is out here, he comes out and checks also. They are very punctual.

They did an excellent job. They were very professional; they did a very thorough job and did a very clean job of cleaning up afterwards. I have used them before too.

They sent crew out and all they did was trim the sucker trees coming from roots and sprayed some stuff on that area. Had to call email send pictures and still had a hard time getting them back out. Got a bill and had to deal with another office telling them work had not been performed correctly. The guy that finally did come did a great job and my tree is better. Need to get another section of the girding roots removed this winter but will not use Bartlett tree service again. Also after job was done I emailed John to get tress fertilized and never heard back from him. For me dealing with this company was a hassle.

The trees look much better. The crew cleaned up the leaves and branches very well.

They call a day or 2 beforehand to let us know they are coming, and to find out if we have any questions or concerns we'd like the representative to address. They have always done a great job.

All went well. Oak wilt is in trees, but too early to tell if they will survive the disease. Hopefully, we will know more this spring, once the leaves fall and new growth returns. This was the second application.

Went fine. Trimmers are well-equipped and overseen by job site manager.

Fertilization went as expected. Over the years I have used Barlette, my several mature trees have looked good and grown. And have shown no signs of stress during our drought. They located one tree that the landscaper had put too much dirt around the tree base so it had the potential to rot. They removed the dirt. They notify me if they spot anything wrong with my trees. They perform the tasks asked for the stated price

They were wonderful. They always clean up better than I had my yard looking before the service. We use them everytime we need tree work.

I've had three visits from Bartlett Tree Experts altogether. Each time I was impressed. Jacob gave me a copletely free estimate, inspected the trees, and gave me advice on what to do for them; he prioritized the work for me and broke the price down per job. And he gave me additional advice for what to do when the homebuilder's landscapers came to plant trees in the front yard. Jacob was completely professional and on time. He educated me and gave me lots of extra information, answering each question I had and many I didn't know I should ask. He had a computer in his car and was able to print out the entire description of work and prices for each on the spot. Adan and Chris who did the work were courteous and professional and on time. They cleaned up and removed all the debris each time, even raking the grass. Adan was also a fount of information. It is SO important to take care of your oak trees and seal each cut regardless of what time of year you prune as oak wilt is very contagious. Adan and Chris pruned my trees of dead and dying branches and did so with an eye for aesthetics as well. Because they were going to have to go into three neighbors' yards to get to all the places they had me get permission slips signed in advance. My neighbors were very happy to be getting the work done for free and readily agreed. Adan and Chris sealed each place.they made a cut with some ingenious rigging. They also cleaned and removed all the debris from my yard and the neighbors' from the work they had done. I appreciated that Adan also painted/sealed the bottoms of each tree that were exposed by installing the tree collars just in case anything had gotten dinged. Nothing had because the air equipment they used is gentle, still that kind of care and effort was much appreciated. In fact, I believe Bartlett invented that technology and had the patent on it. Now everyone uses the technology they developed. I would gladly use this company again and recommend them to everyone. I gave them a "B" on the price only because I don't know what other companies would charge. I did have another arborist come out and give me a quote prior to choosing Bartlett, but I just felt better going with Bartlett as they are clearly a class act.

We took pictures of many of the roof lines and trees themselves so we have before and after pictures. The results are stunning. One resident said she could hear the oldest oak tress sigh in relief when they were done do to the amount of dead wood removed. The canopies now have so much more air and light circulating in them, the long term health of the trees is assured. They also had several certified arborists who were part of the crew itself as well as management. They did not hesitate to answer any and all questions any homeowner had. We will hire Bartlett's in the future for all of our needs regards our trees.

The tree expert came by to look at all the trees in my yard and give me an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and gave any advice to any questions I may have had. The crew came at a later date to trim the trees and cleaned up any branches left. At a later date, the tree expert came back to fertilize the trees and answered any questions I had.

They were fast, cleaned up and it couldn't have gone better.

Estimate for job was given on 10/04/2012. Was told that the tree trimming wouldn't be done for 3-4 weeks, but that he could have someone over the following week to treat the trees for fungus, aphids, & borers. Estimated completion date for that was 10/09/2012 . I informed John that would be fine as I was leaving town on 10/07/2012 & wouldn't return until 10/11/2012. Told him that I wasn't sure if person house sitting would be home if they called to come before & was assured that would be okay as long as my dogs weren't out in the yard when the tech. came. Received a call from them on 10/11/2012 to inquire if I was satisfied with job, & if not to call them. I called on 10/12/2012 to inform John that they didn't cut enough off the trees & one hackberry tree overhanging from neighbor's yard was even touched.John said he would send the crew back out to do more trimming. I also informed him that the monterrey oaks STILL hadn't been treated & the one in the far back was looking much worse than when he saw it. He told me that he had had a cancelation, so he was able to move me up regarding the tree trimming & apologized for the confusion. He told me that he would have someone over on 10/15/2012 to treat the Monterrey oaks & said it might be a case of "too little too late." On 10/15/2012 I called office again to find out when they would return to finish job & was told by person answering the phone she had no idea, but she would try to catch John as he was going to be "in & out" with appointments , going out of town. going to training, but as soon as she knew something she'd contact me. I informed her that I did NOT wish to pay for the job until it was completed to my satisfaction, & she said she understood. Received a bill today that charges me 1.5% per month which is ANNUAL Percentage of 18.0% is ADDED TO ACCOUNT 30 DAYS AFTER INVOICE DATE. My invoice date is 10/11/2012 . I still have NO idea when they will complete the job of tree trimming. I used them 1 year ago to fertilize trees in my yard was and VERY satisfied with the price & work & at the time of this estimate for this work, I signed a contract with them for next year for 4 treatments to fertilize & then treat trees for fungus, aphids, mites & caterpillars. On 10/22/2012 Tony returned to remove more branches from the China Berry tree that were growing into the power lines. Also removed more branches from the hackberry tree in the backyard that was overhanging from the neighbor's yard. Tony was very courteous & professional with me.
