Additional contact: Patrick Brewer. Bartlett Tree Experts has been providing scientific tree care since 1907. A 3rd generation, family owned business, our mission is the maintenance and care of the health and beauty of trees and shrubs. We are an international organization, with offices in Canada, England and Ireland. Our Research Laboratories advises us about the latest technological advances in arboriculture and assists our arborists with training updates. The laboratory networks with professionals at universities, government agencies, and allied industry groups. This enables us to provide state-of-the art procedures and techniques to our clients. Our arborists consult with other professionals for common projects and community interests. Our unique position in the green industry helps us further arboriculture as a science and a profession. We believe in providing preventive property maintenance to avoid landscape problems or treat them proactively rather than using “reactive” maintenance methods that are driven by situations and events. TCIA Accredited, ISA Member, TCIA Member.

Description of Work: Bartlett's crew removed two very large live oak trees that were growing down onto the roof of the house. It was a complicated job, but they worked carefully so that nothing was damaged during the removal. They sealed all cuts on our remaining trees, cleaned up the debris well, and even left us a stack of fire wood. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: They provided cosmetic pruning of our palm trees. However, the job was poorly done with shaggy, uneven trimmings left behind all along the trunk. When we asked them to come back and clean up the job, we were told it would cost another $1000 (they had already charged us over $600 to trim the trees). They also trimmed another tree on the property, which was done adequately, and did some work on the root collars of other trees. Overall, I would definitely not recommend them.

I’m sorry that you are unhappy with the amount of work completed. We did prune the palms to our mutually agreed upon specifications and industry standards. I will be more than happy to remove the “boots” from the stem of the palm, but since it was not part of the original agreement it qualifies as additional work and, therefore, carries an additional cost. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
