It turned out the dishwasher could not be repaired. So, he didn't try a bunch of stuff that wouldn't work. He honestly told me a repair would cost more than a new one. I appreciated that.

He assessed our washer's condition and provided an estimate to repair. Because the estimate was roughly the cost of a new washer he said we would be better off going with a new model. He did offer suggestions on which brands to look at. Overall a very good experience.

First off he was able to come as soon as I called, he lives in my neighborhood. He listened to the problem I was having - the freezer was not working and assessed the problem. He took the time to explain that it could be one of two problems, or both. He replaced the fan and the computer board. Once he was able to get everything running, he could have stopped there and charged me for both elements. However , he took the time to replace the computer board with the old one, explaining that sometimes it will reset itself and work again once the problem part is replaced. Lucky for me this was the case. He replaced everything and cleaned the area. I had no idea it takes so long to take a refrigerator apart. Labor fees were very reasonable. He was professional and very kind. I would certainly recommend him and would use him again.

He was great, instead of coming out to my house and charging me, he simply troubleshooted with me over the phone and said exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. It worked out great. We found the leak and fixed it ourselves. We were worried of an expensive fix but we had a great experience.

Service was excellent. I called Gary on Sunday morning and he came out within a few hours of the call. Our thermostat went out and Gary recongized the problem right away. He installed a and quot;tempand quot; thermostat so we could keep using it and not lose all our food. The next day Gary obtained the part, showed up that afternoon and put in the new thermostat. I am thankful that he was able to come out on a Sunday. Most appliance repair techs are NOT available on weekends. Being available on weekends is a life-saver. Gary spent about 20 minutes doing a thorough inspection of the fridge, then carefully explained the problem to me (and to my husband on the phone). He explained that the repair would not fix the entire problem, and was understanding when I declined the repair. His service charge was $50 for the call-out. I'm completely satisfied with the prompt, polite and honest service and would highly recommend this company.

He is a vital resource for our small business and has saved us thousands of dollars over the years. We own several rental properties and keeping expenses to a minimum while keeping our tenants happy can be a challenge unless you have reliable service partners that you can depend on. Ms. Barbara runs the office and is always a pleasure to speak with. Gary is so knowledgeable and honest and usually has most parts with him. I say most because I have some appliances that he has kept and quot;aliveand quot; since the '80's and are a little harder to come by. When he tells me its time for a new one, it's time, and I begrudgingly start price shopping and reading reviews for whatever new appliance is needed. It is a small mom and pop operation so the savings are passed on to you. They work with integrity. I am so thankful for their invaluable service that they put such a small price tag on.

He had the replacement parts in his truck, which allowed him to complete the repairs in a timely manner. I highly recommend him. Now that I know he is ex-military my recommendation is even stronger. I am a retired military person and I want to support everyone with his/her own business!

Gary fixed it quickly and professionally

I had a GE profile sid-by-side refrigerator that quit cooling late on a Friday night. Saturday we were having a birthday party for my father and had large gathering of family and friends coming in the afternoon. I checked that morning on Angie's List and found Around The Clock Appliance Service. It was one of the only ones that would come out on the weekend with no appointment. Gary came out in less than one hour and quickly found the problem. The condenser coils were very dusty causing the condenser to over heat and shut down. He cleaned them up, reset and tested the compressor. Luckily there was no serious damage to the compressor and it has been working well ever since. He saved my Dad's 82nd birthday party! Gary was very polite, professional and knowledgable. He instructed me on how to maintain the refrigerator and he cleaned up the mess. I was very pleased with his work and will definitely use his company if we have another appliance problem again.

He is very good and reasonable in price. He is prompt. He usually gets something done within half a day. He is nice. He is honest. I can give him the keys of my house. I would use him in the future.
