They did a pretty good job. I used them a while back on the clogged drain and they were good then too. They were prompt and did a good job. Last time we spent $120 to do the filters and not the water heaters. It was a small job and they did charge minimum. I make sure that when I need them I really want them. I was very pleased with their service. I will use their service in the future.
Description of Work: The most recent service with Arnold Moos Air Conditioning & Heating was around a month ago. They did some plumbing work and I had problem with my soft water system.

They are expensive. They are very responsive and they will come out immediately. They come out the same day when I call them. They do good work.

Very pleasant experience: PERFECT JOB start to finish!
Description of Work: We had two companies look at our "kaput" old Trane system & give us quotes for a new system. We selected Arnold Moos Co: they removed our old system without making a mess, a scratch or a dent; they installed a new Trane heat pump, air handler, heat strip, and thermostat; they checked our venting and added a return air vent for better efficiency; they added filters and extended warranty. Their entire staff and crew were professional, polite, neat, clean and efficient....Highly recommend & will continue to use.

It did not go well. He did not know what he was doing, and he made repairs that did not fix the problem. Took my programmable thermostat with him after replacing it with a cheap one and this did not fix the problem.
Description of Work: Technician did not know what was wrong. He surmised that it could be the thermostat, and he replaced my programmable one with a cheap, basic one. That did not fix the problem, and now I don't have my programmable thermostat (he took it with him) and I still have problems with my air conditioner.

Response from ARNOLD MOOS AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING
In response to [members name] review: Customer came to us originally in 2005 to provide preventive maintenance on her existing system, upon the initial visit we informed her that her system was very dirty and had been poorly maintained. After completion of our routine maintenance we then recommended she consider a 5 inch media filter upgrade to help with allergies, dust and to protect her older system from excessive dust and dirt buildup which in turn could lower her systems performance,she agreed to the filter and also purchased a new 1 year maintenance plan for 2005 at that time..After the completion of the 2005 contract she again renewed her service contract with us for 2006. During those 2 years of service we responded to several "Not Cooling " calls and each time we found her filter clogged and freon levels slightly low.( freon leak).We informed [members name] that the combination of low freon and a clogged fiilter could drastically effect the systems energy performance (hence the $300 utility bill) and it could also shorten the systems life expectancy.We adjusted her freon levels and recommended she change her filter more frequently to ensure smooth operation of her older system. In regards to the service call in question our tech did find that the thermostat was faulty and [members name] was given several thermostat options to choose from including a programmable thermostat and that she herself choose the most inexpensive one.(basic). The tech then ran the system threw it hot/cold operational modes and system checked out Ok. He cleaned up his work area, disposed of faulty thermostat and invoiced customer. [Members Name] never indicated nor requested that the old thermostat be left behind which we would have gladly done if asked and she never would have agreed to pay an invoice for repairs if we had we not fixed the problem that day. Arnold Moos warranties all of our parts and service and would have gladly returned to [members name] residence to resolve any issues she may have had in the following days of our repairs if given the opportunity.. Arnold Moos Co. regrets [members name] decision to choose not to allow us the opportunity to resolve any repair concerns.

I agreed to replace a 13 -14 year old bottom of the line (contractor model) A/C unit, probably 10 seer, with a much more efficient unit and 1 ton additional capacity. Work was delayed initially, rescheduled, and was completed in a timely manner. Installation was difficult given cramped quarters but all problems were resolved. Arnold Moos personnel came to the house during the delay and charged the existing A/C unit with freon to keep us cool which was greatly appreciated.
