Overall, I was very pleased. David and his team arrived within the time line provided by the appointment clerk. I did appreciate the phone call prior to the team's departure to ensure that I was home. David installed four new hose bibs and vacuum breakers as well as new connectors to ensure that replacement in the future would be easier. New escutcheons were substituted for the rusting older pieces. Water was turned on to make sure no leaks were evident. The 90-day guarantee and 10% coupon from Angie's List were also appreciated.

I called to schedule a plumber to install a replacement dishwasher (all lines are currently working) and was told it would cost $392 and that installation of a new kitchen faucet would be $195. I asked if it would be possible to hire a plumber by the hour and was told that the master plumber said it must be scheduled/charged this way.

Although we live and own a home building company in North Carolina - we were at a loss when it came to finding a reliable plumber 1,300 miles away. I joined Angie's list and chose one of the top ranked companies listed, Armendia Plumbing. They were wonderful, and I can't say enough about their service. The scheduling was effortless -they said, "Tell us when and we'll be there", and they were. Work took about 2 hours for the $397 charge. A quick follow-up visit was necessary a couple of days later to make some minor adjustments - no charge. All I can say is, if this is the kind of service you all regularly get in San Antonio, I'm moving to Texas! Since I did not get an estimate first, or get competing bids, I cannot comment on the price/value for the San Antonio area, but I felt it was very fair compared to what we would have paid here on the east coast. *Note- I did use the 10% off coupon Armendia showed on their Angie's List site.

I called around 8am in the morning and the company had a truck at the house by 10:00. Very prompt and efficient.

Everything went well. The work was done efficiently and quickly. Mike and Eric were very helpful in explaining the situation. They refused to leave until we were completely satisfied. I would hire this company again and recommend them to my family and friends.

I called for service on my water heater which was leaking from a valve. James and Stephen came and replaced the valve (which was plastic and did not have a proper turn off) with a metal fixture. The job they did was fantastic. These men were very professional, very polite. I will definitely use this company in the future. I was extremely pleased with how prompt they were and I felt they charged a fair price.

They found the problem and solved it quickly. I have not had any other issues with the work they did.

Very pleased; technicians did not try to sell a service for which our house is not ready. Techs gave concise explanations of services performed as well as of services they could not perform.

The service I received from the technicians was excellent; however, later as I was going through additional paperwork the previous homeowner had left, I came across a Rheem lifetime warranty which stated replacement parts would be covered up to 6 years (time frame I was still within). The receipt I got from Aramendia did not itemize the cost of the service by parts and labor, it only showed the total price, so I emailed the Aramendia service department and asked if I could get the price of the part so I could determine if it was worth pursuing the warranty option. I got a reply email asking me to call the office. I did and was told that Aramendia did not know the price of the part. I asked if they could find out so I could make a determination. The receptionist told me she would try to get the information and call me back. I never got a call or email. I emailed them a second time asking for the same information but never got a response. I was very pleased with the service technicians but disappointed that no one got back with me on the warranty question.

This happened on a weekend and they were able to come right out. They showed up on time and they cleaned everything up when they left. It only took them a couple hours to find the problem, dig into the ground and fix the problem. I can't say enough good things about them.

I used a coupon for Angie's List members, so this price is after the coupon. They came out for the estimate within one day and also came back to do the work in a timely manner. They were good workers. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

The first Aramendia team did a quick and thorough job installing the thermostat I supplied. The part they put in fired off and heated ONE tank of water. Perhaps the first team should have waited to see if the part would cycle properly, but it was late on a Friday afternoon and I didn't give it a second thought. I called Aramendia later Friday evening when it became clear that there was no hot water. They came out on Saturday AM as promised. They performed extensive testing and called Whirlpool. After my wife and I decided to replace the Whirlpool, the Aramendia team led by Wade, did an excellent job. Aramendia had the part on their truck and everything they need to get the job done right. Moreover, they have a 1 year parts and labor guarantee and a 6 year parts guarantee on the water heater they installed. If I ever have a problem with that here in 6 years Aramendia will handle it...no going to a Manufacturer in PA or dealing with "Bob" in India. I am thrilled to have dealt with a local professional that I know I can go back to 24x7.

The plumbers Adrian and Carlos arrived right on time and quickly went to work. They were very courteous and efficient getting the job done in no time. They even answered the many questions I had about the plumbing job and operation of the valve and expansion tank.

Over all, it was a good experiance other than the price! I had a yard leak. My father had already dug to the pipe. The two men repaired the leak, which only took a few minutes. My father told them that he would fill the hole in himself. They stayed a few more minutes to make sure everything was ok. The guys were very nice and polite. I was very happy until I saw the bill - $295.00! Then they gave me a 10% discount for being a new customer, which brought the bill down to $265.00. They were here from 12:00 noon until 12:35. By my calculations ...... that's pretty expensive!

Everything he did was excellent, but the price was ridiculous. It was shocking. It was way too expensive. The work was good, except for the price.

They arrived on time as scheduled. The two men assessed the smell inside the house and made their way to the attic. After looking around for a few minutes they located a broken vent pipe that had fallen beneath the attic insulation. They then provided a verbal quote for the cost of the repairs. The cost was agreed upon and they began the work. They finished the job in about an hour. It appears they did a very good job using a new section of pipe for the repair. The price was as they had quoted and they provided a 90-day warranty. I would use them again in the future.

Very professional. I was surprised they work seven days a week at the same rate all the time. They came out on a Sunday and the two technicians were very polite and efficient. They replaced some PVC with copper where it should have been and were very meticulous.

It was a great experience. They arrived when they said they would. They were very neat and professional. They found a staple that the builder had fired through the pipe when building the house. They made a small opening in the wall, removed the damaged pipe, and replaced the pipe. The price seemed fair for the work.

July 1st the plumber I had been using for over 30 years replaced hose bibs on four outside faucets, at what I considered a stunningly exorbitant price. At 4:30 PM on the 3rd I found a small wet spot in the middle of my bathroom carpet. I immediately assumed a cat had chosen to forgo use of a nearby cat box. I was irritated, but that's the price you pay for living with cats! I cleaned the spot and added enzyme to remove odor. At 2 AM I walked into the bathroom and stepped into a large sopping wet spot in the carpet. This was not the work of a cat! At 9 AM on Friday, July 4th, I called my plumber and found that he was closed for the weekend. By 3:00 it was obvious this was not a problem that could wait for Monday to be resolved. I checked the phone book and found Aramendia worked holidays. A check of Angie's list showed they had a good reputation. I called them at 3:30 and by 4:30 a plumber was on site to try to find the leak. He discovered that during the installation of the hose bib on one of the faucets a pipe had been broken in the wall. He cut into an interior wall, removed the broken pipe, welded in a replacement, cleaned up his mess, wrote a detailed report on what he had found and in about an hour was on his way. He did a good job at a reasonable price, especially considering it was a holiday.

James and David dug up the leaking water line to station 2 of the sprinkler system and painstakingly cut out the defective joints and measured then remade the necessary joints. They then tested the repairs under pressure. Lastly they replaced the dirt and sod and cleaned up the area.

The plumbers were professional, came when they said they would.

They knew what they were doing. They did a good job. I feel the quality of work is based on the plumber they send, not necessarily the actual company. The gave me a good quote on the prices.
