Aramendia Plumbing Heating & Air

I am still without AC or heat since ARAMENDIA recently took over San Antonio Air Experts. San Antonio Air Experts sold me two complete new HVAC systems , along with the Advantage service plan in mid July of this year, 2024. ARAMENDIA'S representative, Daniel Friesen, informed me that what was DECEPTIVELY sold to me as a maintenance plan, is in fact a lease agreement for the equipment for 10 years!!! I have told Mr. Friesen that I have given both companies way too many chances to get the systems up and running and inspected for safety. As of today, December 12, 2024, I have no use of the units as something was disconnected 3+ weeks ago when a technical team was sent to sort out the issues with installation. I was hopeful when I found out that ARAMENDIA would be the company to resolve the non-functional mess made by San Antonio Air. ARAMENDIA has done nothing significant for me in nearly a month, other than propose an elaborate overhaul of the original incomplete installation of these Lennox HVAC systems. I now rely on a small space heater and an electric throw for warmth as where I live has had freezing temps already. I want ARAMENDIA to remove all HVAC equipment and release me from the Advantage plan so I can get a more dependable HVAC company to do what ARAMENDIA hasn't. 5 months of this is ridiculous! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ARAMENDIA FOR ANY HOME SERVICES!!!!

We had to replaced our old central unit with a new one and after getting bids from couple of local Heating and AC companies in San Antonio, Texas finally took the recemendation from Aramendia heating and air conditioning for $30,000 and with monthly payments of about $325.00. Well job got started after two days and it took the entire day to gets completed, nice AC and very high tech which we weren't used to it, can control the system right off your phone and much more. In addition to that we were told that we would get $500.00 rebate from out local power service company (CPS). We had this unit for about two and half month and have already made one payment and sent out the second payment which will be at their office in a day or two. On Saturday Augues 5th we visited our family and when we got home, the house was at 82 degrees and we had a error code on our thermostat saying er 184.07 and 184.08. So we called our dealer (Aramendia) which we were told that they can not come in today but they will put us on schedule for tomorrow and proceed to tell us the cost of visit??? Explained to them that this is a two month old and it has a 10 years warranty according to sales person! and who sold us a unit that was much larger than our old unit and installer had hard time to installing this unit due to size of our space, and they had to modify the vent because of that. Operator responded that she can not see that they sold us any unit. But they still set us up for service on Sunday. I like to emphasize about the temperature in south Texas on August the we had excessive heat warning of over 105 degrees. So we had to go to hotel that night. On Sunday and my wife stayed at home all day and the service tech finally showed up around 2 PM (today's temperature is 107) and after working on the unit for about 1 hour, he told my wife that they had to get in touch with Manufacturer (American Standard) because they had upgraded their system and downloaded program which effected over 70 customer in this area and they blamed the manufacturer. Well they had to reschedule the visit for the next day (Monday). One more night of hotel stay is getting old. On Monday again my wife had to stay home, same as yesterday service tech ( the manger) showed up about same time as yesterday 2 PM (today's temperature is 105) and after working on the unit another hour and half, they had to reschedule the service for next day because they are in need of a chip from American Standard, and they will reschedule the completion the next day!!!! (seriously?) Great one more night of staying at hotel. On Tuesday as normal, wife stayed at home till 1:00 PM and then she left to go to our family to get out of the heat (today's temperature 107) and the service tech called around 1:30 saying he is on his way which my wife had to turn around come back home. Installer completed the job and the AC started working and it took 3 and half hours before our heated house to get down to comfort temperature of 79 degrees. All these 3 days, Aramendia promised that they were going to bring a portable AC to accommodate the comfort but not a single day it took reality! and when I was talking to the Aramendia rep over the phone and explaining that we had to stay in hotel, she stated that who authorized they stay in hotel? I told her "me, myself and I" and she wouldn't stay in the house at these south Texas temperature either. In meanwhile I have sent out email to American Standard which also know as "Train AC" and from their response back, I got the phone number and called them, spoke with rep who introduced her self by name of Dewily and she asked if the unit we purchased was it new or pre owned? I told her that we hope it was new, she replied that if the unit goes out within the firs 6 month, the company that we purchased it from must bring a new one and replace the unit and it should no be going out in that short period of time. But Aramendia did not honor that policy. And needless to say, on following Thursday after the repair, they called me and stated that I am behind payment!!!! I explained to her that the first payment was sent directly from my bank and the second payment also should be there in day or two, also I asked her about our stay in hotel that need to be reimbursed either from Aramendia or American Standard, she told me that she will put that in the note and some one should get in touch with me, in addition she told me that she found the payment and she apologized about not seeing the note before calling me. Well I like to have my stay at hotel to be refunded along with $40.00 per night for meal that we could not cook at home due to heat. First night stay at WoodSpring suites in Universal city (what a dump) $82.62 Second night stay at La Quinta suites in Schertz $122.52 Third night stay at La Quinta suites in Schertz $136.85 Totaling charges of $461.99

I called them out got a quote for $9000 contacte my homeowners ins . (Lib mutual) that took claim and paid of the quote i recv in writing ..... minus my deductible i called aramendua told them i got $$ cme strt job they came out 1 week later the man they sent said tht the other employee mis quoted me for the job it was gnna b more he gave new quote of $17000 i tild him i already made claim with off qutie they gave me they refuse to honor quote or help me get insurance to pay the extra difference cause claim wS made the lady in office basically told me to go f myself this company has shady employees and owners bad business moto and svc its now 2 yrs later and my problem is still a problem they dont care about anyone except ther bottom line

Perfectly. They replumbed under the sink and installed our new dishwasher on the same day we called. The plumbers were efficient and polite.

Aramendia employees were professional, explained what was going to happen, unclogged the sink within about 30 min. , cleaned up and answered my questions, before they left. I was very satisfied with the whole experience, I would definitely recommend this company.

On Saturday night, we discovered our water heater was no longer working. Upon inspection, we found that it had been leaking for quite some time. When we called Aramendia, they were ready to send someone out right away but we opted to wait until Sunday morning. When their team arrived, they were prompt and adherent to Covid 19 regulations. They explained their diagnosis of the problem and ,as we had suspected, told us we needed a new water heater. They gave us several options with pros and cons and prices, educated us on new state requirements, and ultimately installed a quality water heater that I hope will last a long time. In addition, they gave us some basic maintenance instructions to help keep it running better and longer. They were respectful of our property, professional in their manner, and left the site clean and neat.

They did an outstanding service, very friendly and a great company. I will recommend them to others.

Came out promptly and replaced defective water heater. Made comment on leaving negative to previous installer. Charged much more than expected and would not have gotten the business except for current leaking water heater which we might have replaced the next day for much less.

my air handler "fan/motor" broke. I called around and couldn't find anyone to help. They agreed to come out, but couldn't make the repairs. They agreed to order the parts on Monday. The technician pushed hard to talk us into a total replacement. On Monday they quoted me a price $3000. I found a company to make the repairs for under $300.

Great. Hot water heater stopped working Sunday evening and started leaking. Call emergency # for Aramendia around 9:00 P.M. Gentleman called back about 10 - 15 minutes later. Took info and set us up for first thing Monday morning. Just after 9:00 a.m. two gentlemen from Aramendia arrived and installed a new water heater. Also did some San Antonio required upgrades needed. They even put in an alarm in the water catcher under the heater. If water heater starts leaking in the future, the alarm will go off...sounds like a fire alarm per one of the plumbers. They were very professional. Explained everything they were doing. Have used Aramendia in the past and will continue to use them.

Small water heater in Texas basement sprung a leak and needed to be replaced. Cody and David showed up at the beginning of the two hour window, They were both courteous and professional. They quoted me a price. It seemed high to me but I approved the work because time is money and ones back is against the wall when the water heater is broken. I should also add that I always see Aramendia trucks in my neighborhood and see this as something to consider and it boosts my confidence in quality There was an access issue and they had to go through some drywall to take out the old heater and replace with new. They were careful and made clean cuts so it should be able to be replaced. The work took about 4 hours and included cleanup which they did a good job on. I felt that they both were very respectful as they came in and out. When they showed me their work I was very impressed. There was all new piping and It was brought up to code. Water heaters will never excite me but I thought It looked great. Overall I was pleased

Plummer was professional, knew exactly what he was doing, clearly explained everything to me, gave me a choice of different types of toilets and explained the differences and why the one I chose flushed better than others (he is right). Cleaned all around the repair area and left the bathroom spotless. Aramendia is not cheap, but I have used them in the past and continue to do so because of the high quality of their work.

They sent a truck out within a few hours of the call, but when they got there they provided an outrageous quote of $475 for the labor to install a small water filter under the kitchen sink. I got a local plumber to do it for about half as much.

They replaced the builder installed pressure regulator with a brass unit. Also fitted pressure release tank to hot water heater. They came the same day we called.

No show We made an appointment for oct 17,2017 from 1pm-3pm we waited for these people to show up and they did not even call. We had a home showing at 3:30 and we left at 3;30 and nobody showed up. Awful service.!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were here on time. They were Johnny on the spot.

Very well. Total cost of toilet and labor was bout same as what stores charged for just toilet. They brought a high end toilet.

Oh, I didn't like them at all. And then I found out they were the most expensive in town. They were nice and polite but it was just ridiculous. You know how they have to pull permits, well he told me that quote includes the $250 to pull the permits and then I found out the permits were only $90 so they were padding that as well.

Diagnosed the problem right away, ordered part, installed when it came in 4 days later.

I'm on a maintenance plan with them. I'm not sure what it originally was. It's an annual plan I really don't remember how much it cost to be on their annual plan. I would give them A's all the way down, I love them.

They installed the leaking water heater 3 years ago and stated that they've had problems with the brand. We were told we needed a new water heater at a cost of $1900. We decided to get another opinion. The plumber we contacted stated that one of the copper hoses was the actual cause of the leak and he replaced for $80.

Jacob and Josh were punctual and quickly diagnosed what needed done. They wrote a detailed statement of the problem and remediation actions they would need to take for insurance. The good: Professional, transparent and helpful in all aspects of the job. They explained why the leak developed in the first place (different story...thanks Gehan and NIBCO! ;-). They also quickly made sure we were not going to be without water as this would be a two day job to get the plumbing redone. They came prepared to work and were relentless in pursuing a solution. The cons: No veteran's discount and no discount on the water heater even though we were getting so much work done. I have used them before and would use them again--price is an issue in the absence of value. I would prefer they had given us a break on the water heater and a veteran's discount; however I am pleased overall with their work.

The work took about an day. It was all of them. The clean up was great. They cleaned up. There were probably three or four workers.

Everthing went very well. Problems corrected, professional workers, on time, courteous, jobs went very well. We feel though that the prices are very expensive, but in the long run, we did get good work, so it is difficult to find fault, it's just that you should expect this company if you use them, and I would make that recommendation, but be prepared for the bill.
