They arrived on time assessed the problem, quoted a price for the repair and did it and we had them put three more faucets on. We will use them in the future without hesitation.

They got here quickly. They cleaned up after themselves. I thought they did the job well. Their price was pretty fair. The quality of the work was good.

Arrived on time for diagnosis of broken AC unit. Unit was toast, we were given a clear rundown of our options and decided to have them install a new unit. That was at 2pm, and by 8pm the old AC had been completely removed and the new one completely installed. They did a great job and were very professional and nice. Will recommend them to everyone.

They were able to come out the same day I called and were very polite and professional. The only reason we didn't have them do the work is that we found someone else to do it cheaper. Their estimate was $320 to replace the disposer, and we found someone to do it for $185. I would call them again in the future.

Sadly we've lived in our new home for 5 years and never had our A/C checked and were sure we needed it done ASAP since we run it constantly. We chose Aramendia due to their ratings here on Angie's list and I've heard their commercials on Dave Ramsey's show. When I called for the service I was happy to get an immediate appointment and a quote of $59 (for a highly rated company) sounded fantastic. They showed up the next day right on time and went straight to work. One technician went outside and the other stayed inside to do his checks. They were quick, thorough and extremely professional. When they were all done I had a quick chat with the older technician (I wish I could remember his name as he was fantastic) and he gave me tips for keeping my A/C running smoothly and then asked me about our DV plates. Being that the service was already a great price it never dawned on me to ask if they had a military discount. Thankfully he noticed and gave me $10 off which I was extremely grateful for. Not only did we receive excellent service from these two technicians, but this particular gentlemen took it upon himself to bring up our military status. I found that rather amazing. I would definitely recommend Aramendia and will use them again. My only complaint is on myself for not remembering that kind gentleman's name.

He told us to do the things we should do ourselves. He was just professional all the way. We were very impressed with him. He told us that this was something we can get home depot and he can fix it for us. But he told that we can fix it yourselves without any trouble. He told us exactly how, these things were very simpler. So he was really impressive. The overall experience was experience and wonderful. The price was reasonable.

A crew installing a fence hit a pipe and caused a leak. Aramendia came out the day of our call and fixed it within hours. I dealt with five different people at Aramendia and noticed every time the EXCELLENT customer service. I will use them again and recommend them to my friends.

Even though I was replacing it with the same type of faucets, every 10 years they change the connections. We had the house built 23 years ago so some of the inside parts had changed. They helped me figure out what I needed to order in order to change the faucets in the bathtub. You had to go through the wall in two places. They did an excellent job, the price was good and Justin is the one I would highly recommend. Also, I was scheduled for surgery in the fall when I had a water line leak along the driveway. It was raining during this time, they came out to do a diagnostic of where the leak was coming from. We couldn't exactly tell but he told me I had a leak, I was very concerned about the cost. I went ahead and set up a time, which was the day before I went to the hospital. It rained that day so they couldn't do it that day, but they arranged to do it the next day. After I had surgery my son came home and watched them come out to take care of the leak. They had a pipe they put in from the sidewalk to the main faucedt at the house. They also helped me, just in case I needed it, get a credit card so I would feel comfortable. I ended up putting $700 on it and I paid it off. They did this on the phone with me at the hospital so I could go ahead and get it done because you don't want water leaking in San Antonio. They went out of their way to help me in a situation that I couldn't participate in myself and helped me get financing. They sent someone out with the papers for the financing part of it for me to sign. They were very helpful. It was excellent service. As far as the cost, it was very competitive considering what other people might charge. As well as changing out the plumbing the customer service was really excellent and super. I could not have asked for better, a lot of companies won't work with you on a situation like this. They would just schedule it for a different time but they hung in there with me and scheduled it when my son would be available.

They were quick to come out and fix the problem but they left a little bit of a mess. It was in the garage so I didn't care that much but it would have been nice if they cleaned up all the wet sheet rock that was pulled off the wall. They cleaned up most of it. Maybe 75% of the sheet rock was cleaned up.

I called at a very busy time because San Antonio had several days of continuous freeze. The were able to come the next morning. They were professional, punctual and their price was fair. They did a home inspection of my plumbing and we found another area where I was vulnerable for burst laundry hoses and repaired that. I will definitely call them again.

They did a good job. The job took some time. They hauled the other one back and cleaned up. I have no complaints, though I wish the work had been a little cheaper. They came when they said they were going to come. They were also very professional.

The very polite Aramendia technician did call back the next night to tell me that after speaking with his boss he had another idea to address our problem. Pros: The estimate was free so we lost nothing Cons: We didn't get the most experienced technician so it could have cost us 10k. Recommendations for others: Get quotes from other companies. You can be a smart consumer, but without HVAC training, you're relying on a technician's expertise that may be limited.

Perhaps it is typical for plumbers to try to gouge people whose pipes have broken. I don't appreciate it. These guys came to our house and quoted us $505.00 to fix two blown out pipes after the freeze last night. The same thing had happened last year and those guys had charged much less so told them I would only pay them $300. They came back with $405 as their best offer. So, after calming my wife down because she wanted it fixed immediately, I went to home depot and described the two pipes that were broken. I came home with less than $30 of equipment, $20 of which I can use for other projects later, and fixed the problem in two hours. This would have been an easy job for them. For me, two hours, for them probably 10 minutes. That's about $3000 an hour. I must be in the wrong business.

We have used them before for service years ago. They are a 24-hour company, which is important when you don't have hot water. They are reliable. They had a set prices for jobs in a catalogue. This company's prices were in the same ballpark as other company's prices. They were very timely. They called me before they came out. Within two hours, they had it fixed. The staff is knowledgeable. They get the job done quickly.

They were very professional, punctual, and friendly and the experience went very well. We will definitely use them again in the future for our plumbing needs and recommend them to our friends.

David and Charles arrived within 20 minutes after I had called. They introduced themselves, familiarized themselves with the problem and went to work. Within 30 minutes they were packing up and on their way to their next job. I am highly satisfied with the work they did. Naturally I hated to spend the money but it wasn't enough to get me to rent the equipment, try to do the job after I got off work and then return the equipment.

They were pretty much down to earth about the job that they were going to do, nothing fancy about it. They told me what they were going to do and they did it.

I called them, and they came after work at about 7:00. They were done in an hour. I was satisfied with the job. I would use them again.

They went over and beyond. Everything was wonderful. The gentlemen who came out were friendly and professional and cleaned up. They were very respectful to women.

It was great so far. He figured out that it is just the elements and it is under warranty so I had to order them. We picked them up and they are coming later today to install them. He didn't charge us this morning when he was here so I haven't seen the bill yet. In the past the price I've paid has been reasonable. He was quick to tell me it was just the elements and not the whole water heater. I would absolutely use them again.

Response time was good. The pricing was on the high end IMO, base on the estimate for a average toilet replacement (Home Depot sell the same toilet for $140, the estimate was $450 for a turn-key installation). I need to rent/sell the house - to comply with home inspector squawks. The newly installed pressure regulator valve (PRV) leaked within 30 days. The service call to fix the problem was done in timely manner. I watched as the repair crew bended and twisted the main/city waterline at the meter -- scary scene to watch. There were more digging to line up the pipe. One can only wonder if the first crew "forced it in".. and cracked the PRV fitting. A month later when I went to visit the house, I found (1) They did not re-install the quarter turn valve, now I have to use the City's meter shut-off (2) the repair crew didn't check the pressure setting - the water flow was way too low to water the yard. I bought a pressure gauge, and adjust the pressure on my own. I am hoping to get some money back from the company - I prefer not to have the same crew bending that water line around the meter again or making more cuts closer and closer to the meter. --

Had new washer and dryer delivered and installed and cold water side was leaking. Called Aramendia and within a couple of hours someone was here to replace. Replaced both hot and cold because it wasn't that much more to replace both than 1

They were prompt, professional, and went above and beyond for me right before the holiday. They had done some work for me in the past, and I was very impressed with their professionalism and courtesy as well as the high level of the quality of the work. I was comfortable with the men in my home, and they did their jobs well. I would not hesitate to call them for any additional plumbing, heating or AC work that I need to have done, and will recommend them unconditionally to anyone that asks! I only wish they built decks..... ;-)

Summary: KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN IF YOU DECIDE TO USE ARAMENDIA PLUMBING! I called Aramendia Plumbing because it had such great reviews on Angie's list. It was actually the second company I called, because the first told me over the phone that they would not service the type of water softener I had, and would only be able to replace it. I described the problem to Aramendia representative over the phone, they asked questions about the type and size of water softener, and said they would get someone out immediately to take a look at the problem. They were very prompt and came during the time frame given by the representative. That is where the good part of this experience ends. The plumber looked at the water softener, and had no idea how to disassemble the part of the unit that had a problem. All he did was release the bypass valve that I had pushed when the problem started, and the leak started again. Of course that did nothing. After a couple of minutes of what seemed to be pretending to look at the unit he said it needed to be replaced. I found this a little hard to believe since the unit is relatively new and we've never had a problem with it before. Nonetheless I was going to give the plumber the opportunity to write an estimate so a decision could be made. Before the estimate was written, the plumber took the opportunity to try to cross-sell a system check, and I declined. While the estimate was being written, the plumber's assistant took a water pressure sample from an outside spicket. When he brought the estimate for replacing the water heater, he also mentioned that my water pressure was completely out of whack (close to 100 PSI), and I needed to have a reducer valve replaced and expansion tank installed. The total pre-tax estimate came in at over $2,100. I requested a second quote from another company over the phone for the same replacement / installation, and it was less than $1,500 total -- over $600 less than Aramendia's estimate. (Note: this was over the phone and the company did not inspect the unit). I then requested another opinion from a licensed plumber who quickly took apart the unit, and said all that needed to be done was replace an o-ring (a little rubber gasket). He performed the entire job in less than 90 minutes and waited to make sure the problem was fixed. He also said that the unit was in great shape and should last many more years. I also asked that he check the water pressure (as a second opinion), and much to my "surprise" he said the pressure levels were totally normal. I asked if he was sure, and he checked again and showed me the reading, which was in the normal range. The total cost of this job ended up being less than $100, and the water softener is working beautifully. I was skeptical when the "phone quote" already showed a lower price than Aramendia'... Then the simple fix came in at over a $2,000 difference from the Aramendia quote AND the water pressure was normal (compared to completely out of whack as Aramendia's plumber told me), I was absolutely appalled, shocked and disgusted that anyone would try to take advantage of a potential customer like this. If they knew before the service call that they wouldn't be able to service the type of unit I have, they should have said so before they came out here. If they weren't getting that business right then, they shouldn't try to find problems where there were none! It's certain to say that the plumber who did fix the softener has made a customer for life, and Aramendia has unquestionably lost a potential customer for life (and any referrals that would have come from me as well).

Very punctual and responsive. They diagnosed the problem of the A/C drainage leak over the garage ceiling and it was cleared within an hour. Steve and Jim were very professional and the price was very adequate. I will use 1st Call Plumbing Heating & Air LTD again and refer them to my friends.
