Aramendia Plumbing Heating & Air

Everything went perfectly. Their service is so superior that there's nothing I can think of that could be improved. The only thing that's difficult to assess is whether or not the repair is valued fairly, but that's only because I don't have a good enough foundation in plumbing repair costs. Despite this, the service provided, especially on a Sunday, is probably worth a premium.

The plumbing on the bathtub was original from 1988, so when the faucet handle snapped off, there was no easy way to replace it. I had used Aramendia in the past, so I called them out to give me a solution. Aramendia is responsive, has people available same-day, and their guys show up when they say they are. The #1 reason I used them for this job and previously is that they "job price" whatever work they are doing. I knew what I was getting into, and didn't have to deal with nebulous hourly rates and open-ended pricing for what I wanted. In the three times I've used them, they've stuck with what they called on pricing, even when a job is a little more complicated than they expected. They brought the hardware with them, pulled out the old plumbing and installed the new in about 2 hours. They were thorough and consciencious, and the tub works great. They tested for leaks, and cleaned up very well. The first time we used the tub, it leaked (the weight of a person in the tub caused it, not the work. They came back out within two business hours and made the adjustment - no charge. I like these guys, and will use them every time I have a plumbing issue.

I've had a positive experience with Aramendia in the past, so made the decision to call them again to do plumbing work for me. I called and they set me up for an appointment on the same day that I called - a pleasant surprise because I expected they wouldn't be available until later in the week. They arrived later than expected, but did call to keep my informed about when they would arrive. Jacob Casanova and his assistant were very professional, neat, clean and did fast work! I really appreciate how they cleaned up after replacing a toilet and replacing the piping under a bathroom sink - you'd never know that they'd been there. Jacob walked me through a visual inspection of our plumbing systems and made some recommendations, but didn't over-sell. I also asked him to replace aerators on two bathroom faucets - he told me i could do it more cheaply myself, but since he was there, I asked him to do the work. I was pleased with the overall experience and would hire Jacob and Aramendia back in a minute!

I was very happy with Aramendia Plumbing. This was a somewhat major job that required digging up the backyard, and because of roots they could not lay a straight pipe to replace the old one, so the job was a bit complex. They were very professional and helpful, and I was very satisfied. I'd looked up the company on Angie's List first. I would certainly call Aramendia again when I need plumbing service. There might be some cheaper companies, but you get what you pay for. They also allowed me to use an Angie's List 10% off coupon.

Called at noon, they arrived at 6 PM, finished at 9:30 PM. They were very professional and evaluated all our plumbing while here. Adam and Joe provided Superb Service.

To be honest, I had to call them back. The people that they sent out didn't do such a good job, and I would have never known it if someone hadn't pointed it out to me. They came promptly. They sent two different guys out and eventually fixed it. They cleaned up their mess, as well. The price was a little bit less because I used my own parts.

I would give them an A all over. I would use them in the future.

Jacob and Adam did an outstanding job installing our softener. When they waited for parts they conducted an extensive analsys of our water and suggested other methods of filtration. Once installed they completely explained the operation of the device. I would highly recommend this crew.

Our back bathroom toilet clogged up on Christmas day so we figured that we'd wait til Tuesday to call Aramendia. We called Tues, morning & were informed that it was a very busy day but that they would definitely get to us. Four hours later they called to say they were coming. The techs came in and diagnosed the problem, giving me several options: unclog toilet for about $175. or a new toilet for about $500. The tech recommended a new toilet as the one we had was over 12 yrs old and probably had a build up of calcium (which was the problem with the toilet in our front bathroom that we had Aramendia replace 8 mos ago). So we decided to to go with a new unit as even the cut off valve was old and leaking a bit. And since I had the 10% off coupon from Angie's List, the cost of the new unit was reduced a bit. The techs even offered us a toilet recommitted by the ADA that is higher (this is my 80yr old mom's toilet & she has to have a riser toilet seat) but the cost was a bit too much for us to buy. I do appreciate them giving me several options on toilets. I know the prices are a bit higher than other companies, but I trust Aramendia as I have been using them for years, and I know the quality of their products and their work ,and it all has the Aramendia 1 year warranty. Everyone at Aramendia is very nice and professional, from the call center ladies to the on site technicians. I will continue to use Aramendia based on the quality of work they've done for us over several years.

I have used this company before and had pretty good experiences. They are a little pricer than other companies but they do warranty their work. Overall I would use them again. I did want to raise an issue that I had this last time I used them. I called for them to come out to look at the repair and to give an estimate. This was done in a prompt and professional manner. What I did not appreciate was after I decided to get the repair done and the service was completed, the technician that performed the work called to let me know that the repair was completed and to get the payment information. At the time of his call, he went on to tell me the work that he had performed was well under price and should have been given a higher estimate than what was given. I let him know that I got their company information off Angie's list and maybe this would help account for the discount repair cost that he felt I had received because I did not recieve the 10% coupon off that they advertise on this site for using them for plumbing. I did not apprecitiate this statement at all. If this was an issue, it should have been taken up with his company and the person who went out to give the estimate initially. Me as a customer should not have to be informed of his dissatisfaction of the price that was estimated. Just wanted to share my frustration, I was pretty aggrevated after getting off the phone with him.

Not as easy as it sounds. Jakob assessed old toilets, offered options and answered all questions. Offered professional recommendations. Upon removing old toilets, Jakob and Adam discovered a 10 inch rough-in instead of a standard 12 inch rough-in. Again, Jakob offered information and recommendations. Jakob called to source the needed toilet size and odd parts to fit with my current plumbing. They replaced plumbing parts with better quality, especially with angle stop. Fixed this also which is preventing possible worse water leakage behind the wall. Both Jakob and Adam were professional, polite, interested in providing the best customer service and doing the job excellently. Unfortunately, due to broken part, a few bathroom tiles had to be cut out. Manager offered to replace and take care of. Toilet scratched the floor tile. Company agreed to pay invoice for repair. I am confident they will follow through, and I will report the outcome upon completion. At this point, I am completely satisfied and intend to use the company again.

Responded really fast. Same day service. Price was okay. Left area clean and managed to preserve grass and landscaping the best they could since it was an outside underground repair.

I had used them before so I had them out for this job. They tend to be prompt, they show up when they say they are going to, but they are too expensive as far as I’m concerned. They tell you in advance how much it is going to cost, they do the work, and then they leave without leaving a mess.

I like that they come at anytime of the day. I also like the fact that they work on certain standards. They also let us know the other part of the problem which was there with the original problem. They also gave us the discount. They were even able to make my wife understand. They don’t charge you for weekends and holidays. They are generally available 24/7. I would use them in the future.

I've selected Aramendia Plumbing on two seperate occasions to assess and fix plumbing issues I've had in my house. Both times the servicemen were polite and professional. They kept me in the loop when there were findings. They also conculted with me and took the time to explain procedures they could perform to solve the issue. Without my asking, they oftered alternatives to increase my options. Any time I needed service or repairs, I've always looked on Angie's List to find what I've needed. Within the past two years, I have been very satisfied with the companies I've chosen--thus far.

They were 2 expensive they were here for 5 minutes I did not want to waste their time

Water meter box began leaking 1 week ago and SAWS notified, but even after 2 followup, nothing until the water was shut off by the City after midnight. Big surprise this morning -- but, after calling my plumber and several others without success for repair today, I called Aramendia Plumbing and they came out within a couple of hours and replaced the malfunctioning part -- on my side of the meter. Both Wayne and Chase were friendly and tackled the muddy mess quickly and restored service.

Very punctual, very professional, pleasant.

They were very cordial and came on the day that I called them. They immediately found where the leak was coming from and they fixed it. It has been working very well ever since. They were really excellent. Their prices were a little expensive.

They did a great job! I drilled through the ceramic tile without breaking it, which made us nervous, but they did a wonderful job! They also installed some fixtures for the bathroom as well.

Adam and Jacob came as scheduled to reconnect my sink and garbage disposal after I had a granite counter top installed. Everything was reconnected and works great. The installers were pleasant and very professional. I would definitely recommend them for any future work.

My home a/c stopped blowing on Sunday morning so I called Aramendia as I have used them before. Tech showed up approx. 3 hours later and determined that I needed a new blower motor, and that the one I had was old and out of date. Said if he could find one it would be about 5 days and cost approx $1500 to replace, or I could get a new unit installed for approx. $5k - $6k. He said he would call on Monday with an exact price and whether or not he could find a new motor. He left, and TOOK THE FAN AND MOTOR WITH HIM! Which he is NOT supposed to do. I called Flo-Aire services at the recommendation of our neighbor. They told me to get the motor back immediately, so I called Aramendia and they returned the motor that evening. Flo-Aire came out the next day, re-installed the fan and motor, repaired some wiring, and REPLACED THE MOTOR. Flo-Aire told me the motor was not that old, and that it was still covered under warranty. They even had a replacement motor with them. The air now works, and it only cost $135. I have had 3 separate people tell me of similar dealings that have happened to them when dealing with Aramendia. They're either not honest, or incompetent, either way I will never call them again. BEWARE!!!

Called about 11am for a clogged toilet; since we have a 2nd toilet this in not an emergency call . Aramendia dispatch called about 5pm to let us know they were on the way. Carlos M. & his helper arrived about 5:15pm. Used the camera to check the sewer line for any pipe obstructions and finding none, recommended double flushing the toilet with each use as low flow toilet don't have the power to push waste thru pipes like the older higher flow toilets do. The men unclogged the toilet. They were super nice and professional, and did the usual great job I get from Aramendia. I highly recommend Aramendia for any plumbing needs. I will continue to use them for my plumbing problems.

Leonard and Chase were in and out in about 30 minutes and gave me the Angie's club discount even though it was Labor Day. Very pleased with their responsiveness and work.

We discovered the leak on a Saturday afternoon. We called Aramendia and they arrived within 30 minutes! They located the leak quickly and took care of it. Bothemployees were professional, responsive and friendly. As they were doing the repairs they patiently explained what caused the leak and how it would be repaired, all this while they were working. They fixed it in a very reasonable time. They cleaned up our yard as much as possible, I am pretty picky and I was impressed. They took great care not to do any damage to the surrounding shrubs. We would use Aramendia again and highly recommend them.
