WOW! I did not know that service of this quality still existed. We called this morning and a freindly, efficient receptionist took the information and told us we could expect a call right after lunch and that the plumber would casll ahead - which he did. The plumber who showed up(his name is Peter) was in a neat uniform, a large clean truck, had an assistant. He had called ahead as promised to let us know he was on the way. When he arrived he introduced himself and was friendly and smiling. He went inside and immediately discovered that it was simply a blocked showerhead. Peter said there was no way he would charge us for the 5 minutes it took, but just to keep him in mind when we need a plumber in the future. He then offered to do a quick visual inspection of the plumbing. This was amazing. There is no doubt who we will call in the future and we're telling all of our friends, too!

They were cheerful, helpful, and kept to the agreed price even when they ended up having to spend an extra 90 minutes on the job because some of our plumbing parts were not in good enough shape and they had to go get replacements. They are well worth keeping (and circling!!) in your address book!

They arrived on time in uniform clearly stating who they were. They were very polite and professional. They came in assessed the faucet that was not just leaking but flowing hot water. Fixed it, tested it, showed their completed work and talked us through exactly what was done. They told us the price estimate before they started any work. Unfortunately I was not able to shop around for prices as we needed this done asap!

Replaced the hose bib for a washing machine $250

After going through 4 other "free estimates" that were not free in Sna Antonio Texas we called Aramendia. All the others were free if you bought what they sold, and they wanted immediate payment right then. We had a new baby due with in the month and 100 degree temps coming in a month and needed to take action. The Aramendia were actually on time (only contractor I have called in 4 yrs here that did that! They were amazingly professional, there are no words to tell you! They spotted the problem, gave an approximate estimate to clean and fix the a/c and heater, then gave us a comparison for 6 other units we could consider. No pressure, very cost concious and not in a hurry. We paid for a quick fix for 15 days and they gave us a full 3K off the new unit to be installed on day 16 when we could arrange the budget! They again showed up on time, carefully lined my floors to avoid all mess making, had the thing torn out and put back in in 4 hours. Again, amazingly polite, beautiful work ethic, AND... They just called last week for our check up to make sure we are ready for the winter, which floored me. This is no fly by night, out of town hot mess. These people know their business and treat you with respect and take care of you afterwards. It was money well spent. The unit dropped the electric bill by 50% even though they could only hypothosize that it would drop 20%.

Aramendia came to replace a water heater.

Late Sunday afternoon I discovered a water leak/spray under the kitchen sink. I was unable to turn off the water using the valves on the in-take hose so placed towels under the leak. I called 4 plumbing services found on Angie's List and Aramendia was the first to respond that they could be at my house in less than 30 minutes. Two agents arrived, quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired the faulty hose and offered to replace the spigots for both the dishwasher and sink faucet. They accomplished the work quickly and efficiently. The cost for the repairs was the same as had been quoted. I would definitely use Aramendia again.

They explained all of our options, offered us discounts and allowed us to make the best decision for our family and budget. I called in the morning to make an appointment and they were at my house a few hours later. Very professional .Added a water heater hauled off the old one. Added a water softener and explained the features as well as how to use it.

The Aramendia representative came in, checked the system quickly and discovered that the repair was going to be extensive. The representative said there was no use in repairing the system and that they would have to replace the whole air conditioning unit. They offered to sell us one at their discounted price of $5,000. I had someone come in and give me a second opinion and they were able to fix it for less than $300 and said it would be good for at least another 2 to 5 years. I was very disappointed with Aramendia despite all their claims on television. Their representative tried to sell us something that we did not need. It is proof positive of the lack of integrity of some of these so-called professionals.

My husband and I have had a positive experience with Aramendia plumbing, so I contacted Aramendia HVAC to give me a bid to replace my old, failing AC system. They were very accommodating in scheduling a sales appointment the same week I called, which was fortunate since my old AC failed a few hours before the sales rep arrived. The sales person looked over the existing system, asked my husband and I questions about our climate preferences and any problems we were having, such as the one room always being hot. He gave us bids for three different efficiency level systems, explained about the financing, CPS rebate available, warranty, etc. He assured us that Aramendia would take care of all of the paperwork for all of the above, including filing permits. We chose Aramendia because of our past experience with the company, the competitive price, which included a ten year free parts and labor warranty, and the fact that we could get financing. So far, everything has been taken care of exactly as we were told it would. When the technicians arrived to install the system, they were prompt, courteous, and did meticulous work. I was very impressed with their work ethic. They improved the condition of the closet where the air handler went and even devised a way to extend the vent for my dryer away from the new heat pump so it wouldn't get clogged with lint. They also deserve special mention for working on the ducts in the attic in the middle of the day in August. This is routine for them, but I think it's impressive because I lasted about two minutes in the attic when I went up to take a look at the new duct. I had enjoyed my new AC for about 11 days when I came home and noticed the heat pump running really loud. Then it stopped blowing cold air, so I called Aramendia. The dispatcher not only scheduled the next available tech to come out, but advised me to turn the system off to prevent damage. The technicians arrived within half an hour and checked everything over against the specs. They determined that the freon charge supplied by the factory was a little less than what my system needed. After adding more freon, I was cooling again and, thanks to the warranty, I didn't have to pay anything. I highly recommend this company because of their professionalism and good customer service.

After diagnosing the a/c unit the Technician said the unit was old and not worth repairing. He did not give me any explaination of what was wrong other than the unit needed freon. He said he could put freon in the unit and that would be about $450.00, but he could not guarantee that would fix the problem. He then gave me three bids to replace the unit based on good, better, best. The bids were $4,219, $7,293, and $8,909. I told him thank you but that I wanted to get a second diagnosis from another company. A second company came out and also determined the unit needed freon. They put in freon and also inserted an ultra-violet dye in the coils in the a/c unit to see if it was leaking. They came back out a few days later and determined the a/c coils had a leak. They replaced the coils and the unit is working like new again. What could have costed me thousands of dollars for a new unit, ended up costing me a few hundred dollars in repairs. I feel the Armmendia technician took a short cut in trouble shooting to try to sell me a new unit.

Overall it was as good as could be expected for expensive and extensive repairs. Aramendia's estimate of cost was one-quarter what another company, one we no longer use, gave us; the other company said the whole house need new plumbing. Aramendia made repairs that have held up so far, at least. We've had no problems since and were pleased with their promptness, courtesy and professionalism.

They did call me at 5:45PM to let me know someone was on the way. They estimated the cost at $375. It took about an a half to repair the issue and they resolved it fully. This is not my first time with Aramendia so I did know what to expect. They did repair my issue just wish it did not cost as much or at least explain why it does.

We knew we had a problem with the system so we went with their recommendation. I would use them again.

I bought my indoor and outdoor unit with them. It took the 8 different times to fix the unit. They have been horrible and have not fixed anything properly. I would not recommend them to anyone! They merged with another company called Aramendia Plumbing Heating and Air and I have had bad luck with both of these companies. They told me it was a plumbing problem so they could charge me again when it was definitely a AC problem.

I had noticed that when I ran water in one location of my home, the water pressure was reduced to a trickle in other locations of my home. I came home on a Saturday to find my water softener in the garage was vibrating, and a very loud hammering noise was evident. I put the softener on bypass and went into the house. My hot water heater in the laundry room was vibrating and the hammering noise was louder in the house. I called Aramendia Plumbing around 3:30 p.m. They sent a team out within an hour. When they arrived, they told me that water was running down the street from my water main, so it must have begun leaking after I came home. Joe Hernandez explained that the PRV was broken and needed to be replaced. He also suggested that I install a pressure expansion tank on my hot water heater to regulate the water pressure in my home and prevent undue water pressure from damaging my plumbing. His associate dug up my water main, replaced the PRV, and replaced the dirt. Joe installed the tank on my water heater. When they completed the work, all was well. No more noise, and my diminished water pressure was restored to normal. They did a great job and were very professional. I would call them again. I am amazed that they were there for me on a weekend, and they even gave me a 10% senior discount!

No Response. Submitted a request for quote 10 days ago with no response. Must be too smalla job for these guys.

They were very prompt. Armendia's quality was great. I have a son who had used them before and he always has been very satisfied with them.

I called Aramendia after hearing a few good things about them (before I signed up for AL). They sent someone out within about two hours to look at my problem and they young man was very professional and said he could do the job (it was quite extensive), but wouldnt be able to do it that day. He politely asked if I would like him to come back some time after noon the next day and quoted me a price that I thought was somewhat high, but he seemed to know what he was talking about so I agreed.The next day he showed up, ON TIME, and had the job fixed in about two hours. I can tell you that I was very impressed by his punctuality, skills and doing it right the first time. Again I thought the price was a little high, but I would call them again simply because he/they did what they said and did the right the first time...and there were no games or switches. Recommended!
