This plumbing company is grear! Had a serious drain leak in the kitchen. They replaced all the pipes under the kitchen sink.. Thr service guys were promt, neat and cleaned up everythiing including mopping up the kitchen floor.

They used a pad to slide the toilet... problem was that the toilet was only half on the pad and they ended up scratching the finish of our tile floor. I gave them a B for quality as they did comp the trip once we raised our concerns about the floor. They were unable to fix the floor to our satisfaction and did not fix the root cause of the smell. They were happy to quote us $3000 to repair a couple of small cracks in the sewer pipe under the toilet which was since resolved by another plumber for MUCH less. BTW, that didn't resolve the smell either.

That morning, before they got there, I looked in my wallet because I had to go to the grocery store when they left. I had two fifties, two twenties and a couple of ones. After they left, I went to the grocery store, and discovered my wallet was fifty dollars lighter.

We refused to allow Aramendia to do the work because the service charge was outrageous!!!

I started out with a small leak that was supposed repaired by Big City Plumbing, but continued to have issues. A worker from Big City Plumbing came to my house and ended up intentionally slamming his shovel down into the pipes (damaging them further) and left yelling threats and saying that "he knows where we live". At that point, the damage was way worse than the original leak. So I called Aramendia because of the good reviews on Angie's. Aramendia got to my house within an hour of my call to request a free estimate to repair my busted pipes. They were extremely professional and wasted no time in fixing the pipes. Exremely fast and courteous service is what I got AND they were cheaper than what I had already paid the other company!!

From the time when I first called Aramendia Plumbing and Heating Air and talked to one of their staff members to the time when the plumbers first appeared in front of my door; and finished the job; the whole experience was pleasant and very professional. They installed for me a water pressure regulator ( I provided it); and also replaced a couple of small brass nipples. Mr. Medellin was very courteous. Initially, I had also asked that my garbage disposal be fixed; but Mr. Medellin found out that there was nothing wrong with it. However, he found out that the faucet handles needed replacement. I went to purchase them; and the same plumbers came back and installed them for me . Both visits were a very positive experience.

In mid October we had to have our garbage disposal replaced. We found Aramendia on Angie's List. They came and did a great job. The next week, we noticed water on the floor in our sunroom addition, coming from the air conditioner's overflow drain. Because we had had a good experience with Aramendia the previous week we called them again to diagnose and fix the AC problem. A technician came out, immediately put a remote camera into the unit, and told me the problem was caused by a rusted out coil. He said a replacement would cost between $2500 and $3000. Since our unit was more than 10 years old we decided to replace the system. The technician went out to his truck and returned a few minutes later with 4 prices written in pencil on a piece of notebook paper. My husband and I chose a medium priced system for just over $10,000. The technician then wrote up a contract showing that a ten year parts and labor warranty was included in that price. But when I called to check with the manager I was told the warranty was actually an extra cost. To their credit, they did say they would honor the original contract and provide the longer warranty. But when the installers came to replace the system, the old coil was removed and we could not see any rust, though it was dirty. The installers did a good job. They arrived promptly, were careful to protect our carpets while working in the house, and finished the job on time. We wrote the check for $10,306 and they left. Three or four days later, we again had water coming into the sunroom from the AC overflow drain. We called Aramendia and they sent a different technician who correctly diagnosed the problem as a clogged drain pipe. He used a pressurized air hose to clear the drain and solved the problem. We felt as if we had been duped into spending $10,000 we did not have to spend. If the first technician had cleaned out the pipe in the first place,we would not have spent the money for a replacement unit at this time. We also feel that the unit was over priced. Everyone we worked with there was very nice. But we certainly wish the first technician had correctly diagnosed the problem instead of scaring us into making an expensive purchase by showing us a video picture of a supposedly ruined coil.

We hired Aramendia to provide an HVAC inspection for our newly purchased home. The staff were prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. They helped us identify (and solve) a couple of small immediate problems with our furnace installation and helped us identify some larger longer-term concerns about our AC set-up. They also helped us identify the age of our AC unit and components. Just what we needed.

A week before Christmas we woke up to a house with no hot water. This is our first house so we were still learning but at least knew that we would need a plumber. We were concerned so close to the holidays that no one could come out soon and we would be stuck with cold water. Our fears were starting to become reality when the first company we called said they didn't have anyone because of the holidays. I have never been comfortable with companies who advertise on TV but we were desperate and at least we could look on Angie's list and called Aramendia Plumbing . I called at 8:00 AM and was told someone could be there between 9 and 11AM. They were here at 9:00 AM! Two workers showed up and within a few minutes had diagnosed the problem and had walked me through it with them. Our water heater was ten years old and had quit for good. My next concern would be how long it would take to get another one but they surprised me and told me they had one with them! A flat rate of $1,380.00 was quoted that included the labor cost as well with no surprise additional costs when they finished. It took about an hour and a half to complete the work. I liked that they also were very open and professional in educating me on how our water heater works. This water heater was better than the one originally installed in our home and it has now been over a month with no problems! An inspection was required and the inspector approved of the work. We will absolutely use Aramendia in the future and are considering them for our A/C unit.

My wife and I had a granite counters installed with the sink. I purchased a new faucet to go with our new counters and stainless steel sinks. When the counter install was completed, I called Aramendia to inquire about reconnecting the plumbing and installing the faucet. I had seen their trucks throughout the neighborhood. I asked if they did time and materials but they said that they do free estimates so we set up an appointment for the next morning. Two men showed up on time for the appointment. I took them to the kitchen and showed them what I wanted done. They stated that it would be $500.00 to complete. I told them that the price was outrageous. I disconnected everything myself but I wanted the install to be done professionally. The two gentleman told me that I could have a senior discount but $450.00 was still too expensive. The technicians went to the truck to call the boss and when they came back stated that they couldn't do it for any less than $450.00. I told them thank you for their time but I wouldn't need their services. I had another plumber come in and install the faucet for $167.00.

Aramendia's staff arrived at approximately 10:00am on December 10, 2012. They began to work on the job. Because the water had not drained sufficiently Aramendia asked if we wanted to have the water pumped out. We decided to have the water pumped out and not to go with the router. Aramendia repaired the pipe under the house, the water leak by the water turn on/off device and pumped all the water from the back yard. They did an excellent job. Once the job was completed Aramendia called me so that I could pay for the services. He also informed me that they would give me a 10% discound as a result of being a member of Angie's list. I was very pleased with the quality of the work as well as the professionalism of all Aramendia staff. I would use them again and I would recommend Aramendia to others.

The company picked up the phone right away... and while they didn't have an exact time a technician would be available they did say they would give me a :30 minute heads up which didn't keep me confined to the house. For a last minute call on a Saturday they were able to come within 4 hours. The technician was professional, polite, and made quick work of the service call. Provided me an estimate to replace my unit without layering on the sales speech which I really appreciated. I would certainly use this company again and they come highly recommended.

At 12:20pm I phoned Aramendia Plumbing & Heating. The dispatcher advised that the Aramendia Service workers would arrive after 1pm. The dispatcher phoned back promptly at 1pm to say that the guys were on their way. By 1:20pm Ryan McCleary and his assistant arrived. (1 hour from the time of the initial call to their arrival) The guys drained the hot water tank which exposed an extremely corroded lower element in the 9 year old GE hot water tank. They replaced the old hot water tank with a new Bradford White tank. Their Aramendia company truck was similar to a large moving van that contained numerous new hot water tanks. Ryan was very polite, professional and did not hesitate to explain each procedure and thoroughly answered all of our questions. Most noteworthy was the amount of time from the initial phone call to the Aramendia office to the time of completion of our job was a total of 3 hours, START to FINISH !!!! We shall highly recommend Aramendia Plumbing and Heating to family and friends looking for a reliable reference. Thanks guys !!!

The team (a licensed Plumber and a helper) were very professional in every respect. They were very careful and neat in the conduct of the task, and ensured that they minimized the amount of "de-construction" required. The cost was reasonable for the level of effort required. As an aside, this is the second time that we used this company; we were equally pleased with the previous job (which is why we called them for this task).

I had a leak in one of my outside pipes and they found it quickly and repaired it. Extremely Satisfied.

My regular plumber could not come until Wed., so I asked him to recommend someone else. He gave me Aramendia's name. I called them and was told as soon as they had a free plumber, he would call and come out. It got dark before the plumber was free, and this was mostly an outside job. Said they would call Sunday and come out. I asked if they charged more, and he said price the same every day of the week. Two fellows came out, very nice, very professional. Wore shoe covers inside the house. Gave me the seniors discount. Very pleased with their work. My old plumber may have lost my business.

Mr Adam Schofield arrived at about 3 pm. I showed him the spot on the ceiling and he checked everywhere for a possible leak. He then determined that it was the wax ring in the upstairs bathroom commode and gave me a price of 274.00 with a military discount. At the same time I asked him to replace the cartridge in the Moen Sink Faucet and the cartridge in the Pearless bathroom faucet as they both had minor leaks. I also wanted the sink stopper under the master bathroom sink replaced as it had come loose and was not operational. Mr. Schoefield preceded with the replacement of the wax ring and had his assistant look and see what was needed to repair the stopper and the cartridges. After the replaced the commode wax ring Mr. Shofields aid that he could not repair the cartridges in either the Moen kitchen faucet or the Peerless bathroom faucets. He also said that I would have to replace the faucets and since the stopper kit came with a new faucet he didn't see any reason for the stopper repair. As this was Thanksgiving saturday and I had a house full of family I agreed and payed him for the wax ring replacement. Today the 7th of december I needed something under the sink and when I opened the cabinet found that water had been leaking from the stopper ball all this time. It seems that when the assistant worked or messed with the stopper arm he didn't tighten the cap back on and this has been leaking since the 24th. Everything under the sink was wet and damaged. Bandaged, hair dryer, band aids, cotton balls etc. I have called Aramendia and complained but have not heard back. After I submitted this prliminary report I was contacted by Mr.Albert Joseph , owner of Aramendia Plumbing. He had read my report and wanted to get all the specifics on why I was displeased with his company services. I explained everything to him in detail and he said he would immediatly review with his employeeswhat we had discussed. He said he would follow up our telephone discussion and get back with me. Mr. Joseph contacted me today and we again discusssed what had happened. Mr. Joseph negotiated with me a a very acceptable solution to my complaint. I really appreciated Mr. Joseph's interest in my complaint and was very satisfied with the resolution. His insight and professionalism was appreciated as well as his concern for my disatisfaction. He is trully an owner that treats customers with respect and will insure that the customer is trully satisfied with his service. Because of Mr. Joseph's concerns for my problems, I intend to use his compant again in the near future.

This individuals who came to perform the repairs were friendly and courteous. Bottom line-They did install a new cartridge and O rings for the faucet-Per their test found no leaks at that time. Unfortunately the "faucet leaks at the base of the single handle following these "repairs". Perhaps if they had just focused on the faucet instead of looking for additional problems the original problem might have been repaired!!

Outstanding service from Aramendia. I called early on 23 Nov, a date after Thanksgiving and they informed that somebody would be at my home at 930am. They arrived at 0930, ready to dig and do the job. They carefully removed the grass, dug in the dirt until they exposed the water line and shut-off valve. They completed the work in three hours. They used the best materials and did not rush thru the job. At the end, they filled the hole, placed the grass, cleaned the area. You can't even notice the work that they did because of the attention to detail demonstrated by Tom and his assistance.

Everything was really good with them. They were timely and very efficient. They got the job done and were in and out of here. They were very helpful over the phone as well. We used Aramendia again and were completely satisfied with price and work. They replaced a 70 gallon hot water heater, in the second story attic, with a "on demand system." We love it! It performs great! They also tested our water softener and did a water analysis. Called back the next day with the results. Very professional.

Checked all toilets in the house. Made recommendations of service and or purchases needed. Same thoroughly discussed with options and possible outcomes (pros and cons). Performed work as agreed, did additional service at no additional charge. Purchase and installation made satisfactorily. Gentleman was knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional.

Not certain why two plumbers were required. The repairs were made and I have use of the shower again.
