 + -1 moreThey came out that same day. They are really good. I find that they come in pairs because one is an apprentice. It is a big outfit. They try to offer the latest and greatest plumbing supplies.
Description of Work: They most recently replaced a toilet. Once, I had a guest at my house and when they went to use the guest bathroom the handle came off the shower with the water still running.

 + -1 moreWe had a loose commode. Called Aramendia, they arrived within 2 hours. Service techs explained thoroughly what the problems could be and the cost of each. They pulled the commode and found it was a minor solution and not the more expensive repair they described. They repaired the commode and did a free check on other plumbing for leaks/drips. The bathroom was left very clean.

Description of Work: Our home is under contract and during the inspection, the faucets were turned on and had dirt come out before turning clear and staying clear. The faucets had not been used in weeks due to not living at the home anymore. Of course it was still scary for the buyers to see that. Aramendia Plumbing came out the very next day to review the water pressure to the home (also on the inspection list) and determine if there may be a problem. They found that the pressure was fine and the water pipes were fine during their inspection and did all this for no charge since they did not have anything to fix. This helped the buyers feel relieved which also helps us continue to sell our house! I actually felt bad not providing any compensation for helping us out so quickly!

 + -1 moreService techs arrived within one hour of my call. They quickly evaluated the job and quoted a price. The service was done within on hour of their arrival. Fast, clean, and professional.
Description of Work: Had icemaker supply line connected to my new refrigerator that I had purchased from Home Depot. Home Depot would not perform the service because I had a "copper" water line in place. So, I called Aramendia and they adapted the copper water line to connect to the plastic water line for refrigerator. I also had them replace the old water line control valve which started leaking when I turned the water off. The service folks arrived at my house within one hour after I called for service. The work was done quickly and cleanly. There was no mess to clean up!

Adam was knowledgeable, friendly, and communicated well. He and his crew were done inside half an hour. Will definitely use these guys again.

 + -1 moreI had received another estimate from a plumbing company, that was totally unexceptable. The plumber arrived with a cigarette dangling from his mouth, lots of body piercing, and seemed as tho he might be on a substance. When the plumber from Aramendia arrived, he was clean, neat and very cordial. He gave me an estimate that was half the price of the previous company, so I contracted to have the work done and it was immediately begun. I would also like to interject that when I originally phoned Aramendia, the young lady answering the phone seemed so happy and upbeat. I felt she was glad to be a part of the company and provide assistance to their customers. The repair was completed as promised, the repairman was very professional, and I am happy to have found this company. I hope to use them again in the not too distant future for another job.
Description of Work: I discovered a BAD leak outside of my home (much water running) during the late night. I called the water company emergency number and a gentleman came and cut the water off at the street. He then informed me I needed to get a plumber in the morning to repair the break and until I did I would have no water. I called Aramendia. The plumber quicky arrived and repaired my leak.

 + -1 moreCompany was responsive in coming out to inspect the unit, but their proposal to replace the backflow preventer was very unsatisfactory. The company failed the unit during inspection and stated that in addition to the cost of the inspection ($175), Aramendia would charge an additional $1155 to replace the unit. When I explained that this same repair had previously been performed twice in the past several years -- and each time the price had increased from $800 to $950, and now $1155, the technician explained that the replacement unit was the greatest portion of the cost and the labor comprised only a small amount of the estimate. I also explained that the instructions for winterizing the unit given to us by the previous installers had been contrary to the instructions this technician was giving to avoid future failures of the unit. I refused to accept his estimate and told him I would seek to get the unit replaced in a more cost effective manner. I ordered the exact replacement part online from BACK FLOW PARTS USA at a cost of $200. I was able to have a family member install it within 1 hour's time, and then had a second plumbing company come out and reinspect it for $125. While I think Aramendia could have completed the work, their prices are very inflated.

 + -1 moreI had a sewer back-up at my rental property. My tenant called me and said there was sewage coming up into the bathtub. I came to Angie's List to look for a plumber. Aramendia was highly recommended, so I called them and another company that was highly recommended. I needed someone immediately. They were there within a couple of hours and called me to keep me abreast of the situation step by step. They said they could fix it the same day and my tenant had plumbing within a couple of hours. They came back the next day and dug up the sewer line and replaced it. This is something that had to be done, it has been a thorn in my side for years. I thank God for Aramendia Plumbing! Another thing was that their office staff was outstanding! They easily accommodated me and my situation. Use them! you will not be disappointed!

 + -1 moreI was looking for plumbing assistance because of my backed up toilet that would not flush and just ran all the time. I also requested replacement of my 2 outside faucets. Upon arrival, they took care of those items and were open to doing the sinks on the spot also -- no return visit. The lead tech also suggested the advantages of working to lessen the calcium buildup caused by SA's extremely hard water, giving all options including advantages and disadvantages as well as prices. The decision that was made was also taken care of at the same time with little additional service call time. The work was done in a professional manner and they cleaned up after themselves completely. I was very pleased.
Description of Work: Rebuilt toilet that was backed up and not working at all. Installed 2 new bathroom sinks with faucets and all new under plumbing. Installed a filter to help alleviate calcium build up and prevent future build up in lieu of an entire water softener system and the new plumbing it would require in my home. Replaced the front and back outside water faucets.

Description of Work: . On Friday March 1st, I called Aramendia after I knew they were on Angie's List and BBB. This was to repair a combination ac/plumbing issue. The total cost of this visit was : $350.00. The problem as I knew it was that the a.c. pan was overflowing due to a plugged opening in the bathroom plastic pipe. This pipe was original to the house which is 13 yrs. old. I have had this issue checked by 2 other companies. Both were in 2012. One sent an a.c. rep. who said it was a plumbing issue; that was followed by the plumber who said it was an a.c. problem. There is also an obviously leak in one area of the ceiling that I showed all reps. I was told there is none. So now, with the visit of the Aramendia man, the plumbing under the sink is repaired and correctly this time. In the attic, he showed me how to take care of the algae and also where the leaks are from the roof. I was included in every aspect of the visit which was on the same day that I called for service. This plumber was prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, put shoe covers on each time he entered the house and took them off each time he exited. In addition, he asked me if there were any other plumbing issues I needed to be checked. I knew from having p.m. done last spring that I would need a new water heater. The current one is original to the house. That is being done today, March 5th. The roofing problems will also be taken care of later today by a certified company that works with Aramenda. This company provides it's technicians with an easy to use reference binder which I was able to see. Saves on needless phone call. At the end of the first service call, I phoned the company to let them know how pleased I was was every aspect of the service I recieved. They get an A + all around. drain cleaning
 + -1 moreThe drain for the wash machine was ok for about 1 week and it overflowed again. They unplugged the one to the kitchen sink. When asked for an estimate for the kitchen sink faucet to be replaced they quoted me 450.00 which I thought was outrageous.

The tenant called to report that they installed the wrong size toilet seat. Co. stated that they will go back to fix it.  + -1 moreThe plumbing crew was professional, polite, and I believe they did a quality repair job. I interacted with Raylon and Chris about half the time they were working on the repair. They were friendly and were good at explaining what they were doing. Raylon and Chris had to cut into the wall in the bathroom to find the leak and reroute the water line through the wall to the adjacent wall in the garage to cut off the leaking water line in the slab. The service call took approximately 4.5 hours to complete. It was costly, but the final repair price was at the lower end of the original estimate they give me before they started the work. I would recommend this experienced crew to friends and neighbors.

 + 0 moreFound leak in garage floor through the slab , called Ins and they told us to call a plumber, we called Aramendia since we have used them before, they arrived within a couple hours as they said they would, they performed check and determined it was a Hot water line under the slab. To do the repair our OLD water heater needed to be removed, since the OLD heater and connections were not to code they could not reinstall it. They gave a estimate to install a new heater and re-route the water line, which we agreed to, repair was completed by the end of the day.
Description of Work: They performed a Re-route due to a under slab leak and installed and New (made in USA) Water Heater. The Techs were very professional & punctualy. Not sure how price compares to other plumbers since I did not receive other estimates, since we had no hot water w/o repair, agreed to the price. All plumbing repairs are expensive to me.
