Description of Work: To start I got quotes from 3 different companies and these guys were the highest price by far. But once they applied all of their different discounts and coupons, they were back to a reasonable price. I suggest you get a quote from these guys last because they will push you to sign a contract with them right away and will threaten to raise the price if you don't. | |The work was pretty good, however there were some issues that were simply not communicated. |1 - They advertised a radiant barrier and none was installed. |2 - Around the electrical panels, they didn't replace the siding in that area. |3 - The lowest board is different on half of the house which makes for a really awkward transition at one point. |4 - They replaced a gable vent and changes the location so now it does nothing. |5 - They installed the doors and one of the doors is a couple inches higher than the other. |6 - The job went 2 weeks longer than expected (although it was raining regularly during that time, so that part was less egregious). | |Those issues aside, the more visible sides of the house look good and a guest probably wouldn't even notice them. Just understand that even though they may be the most expensive options, they will still miss details. Although I would use them again in the future, I would not give them any preferential treatment in a bid.

Description of Work: Replaced all the windows (7) in my house. We received quotes from several companies and decided to go with Amazing Siding and Windows because they were using a Fiberglass casing for the windows. Their price was competitive with the other companies, but we went with them because of the quality of the casing. Jeffrey and Able showed up and starting removing the old windows. They worked around the bugler bars. They removed the mounting for the blinds we had installed and placed a cloth on the floor inside to catch anything that might fall into the house. They were very professional and were able to get all the windows put in place in one day. They had to come back the next day to finish everything up on the outside, which was what I was told in the beginning. We are very pleased with the new windows and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to replace windows.

+ -1 moreThe company used 2 highly skilled installers who required about 4 days to measure, cut and form each piece of siding to fit each board being covered on my home. The job was commenced on the date as agreed, and all work and cleanup was completed in good workmanlike manner. The company guaranteed their installation work for the homeowner?s lifetime occupancy. On May 12, 2010, I wrote to Mr. Gary Warrington, Vice President of Amazing Siding to report 1 single 10? piece of siding had been dislodged by a storm and blown off the eave of my house and requested his assistance in re-installing this piece of siding. On May 14, 2010, Mr. Warrington called to advise that he would have a crew available in the area in a couple of weeks to perform the re-installation. He called again on May 25, 2010 to confirm this job and his 2 man crew arrived as scheduled on May, 26, 2010, and performed this warranted repair as agreed under the original 2002 purchase contract.
Description of Work: In June, 2002, Amazing Siding of San Antonio installed their high grade alluminum siding to cover wood siding trim on the eaves and fascia of my 1½ story home in Spring Branch, TX. Total cost of the job in 2002 was $8,517.00 paid in cash on completion of all work.

+ -1 moreOur experience with them was very strange. They bid the job to apply new siding to our house and replace all the windows just before Christmas. Although we liked their products, we did not sign the contract because we wanted to get another bid. They told us we would need to hurry because their bid was good only until the end of the year and that their offices would be closed for part of that time. They also said their higher new year pricing would go into effect if we did not act. Because of the holidays we did not get the second bid within thier window. After the first of the year they told us we had only 3 days to sign the contract or they would remove our name from their system. At that point, we decided to just let that happen. They never offered to revise their bid. The price they quoted us was quite a bit lower than what we eventually paid another contractor. We feel they just wasted a lot of our time.

+ 0 moreThe product is very good. Their customer service is not. They were very rude, and yelling at me over the phone. A fellow did show up and was very rude, using bad language, I ended up have to ask him to leave. The contractor that installed the door, came out and show me that he forgot to put in a seal and that was what was causing the leak. He was very nice and courteous. The owner of the company was very rude to me, also. They acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. It was a very odd situation. This was just totally off the wall. They kept being rude, telling me they were wasting gas, cursed out my painters, overall a very bad situation. They also said it would take one day and after all of this it took three weeks.
Description of Work: I hired them to replace five windows and a patio door.

The company built an addition to my house, they took care of everything and looked after any sub contractors that they needed. Once the addition was complete, there was a crew sent out to put new siding on the whole house and everything turned out great. The company estimated two weeks work, everything was done on time and we will certainly use them again if we need anything done in the future. They are very reasonable in their prices.
