Like almost any servicer provider, the provider is only as good as their weakest link employee. Were it not for two out of the ten individuals we worked with, I would have given AMS an A on almost everything. However, we had two crews, and only one was good. The first crew of four was great--they packed us and moved us the next day. They took instructions, communicated my instructions between them, and asked questions to make sure I was getting what I wanted. I have no complaints at all about them. The second crew ruined it for me. They arrived on time, but hadn't called beforehand as I'd instructed. Out of the three men, only two did any physical labor, so we were paying for a crew of three but not getting as much done as a crew of three could have accomplished. The crew made comments about our possessions and houses that made me uncomfortable--I felt like my home was being "cased" for future reference. When I gave an instruction to one, it didn't get to anyone else--I had to wait until they were all together or repeat things three times to make sure it was heard. Even when I did so, they still didn't follow instructions. For example, I cleared a spot in the garage for a cabinet and let them know not to put boxes there; they put boxes there anyway. And they didn't bother to correct each other like the first crew did when one of them saw another doing something contrary to instructions. It was very strange that I kept giving instructions and they would say "OK" but then completely disregard them as though I was speaking another language. There was also a lot of passive-aggressive behavior. When placing a dresser, for example, I'd say, "Center it under the TV." They'd put it two feet away from center and say, "Is that where you want it?" Another time I said, "Move it six inches this way", and they moved it 1 1/2 feet. By far, however, they blew their rating when they used our bathroom at the old house and failed to flush their "deposit". When we went back to the house a week later before closing, you can imagine the stench that hit us at the door. By the way, the office workers--clerical, estimator, receptionist, etc were all very good.

These guys are AWESOME. We had a huge job for them and they did it with such care in every detail and made sure every single item...big or small...was carefully packed and handled with utmost care. A very professional and efficient team! A great group to work with and the only company we'll ever use :)

The move went very well. Only took 2 hours to move 6 rooms of stuff. Very pleasant and professional.

Four workers came out to do the moving. They handled my furniture fine. But I had two pieces of jewelry stolen and I have filed a complain for that. They were fine but one of them was bad I think that stole my jewelry.
