My experience with All My Sons Moving Company was an absolute nightmare. Not only did they break my 65" Samsung Smart TV and refuse proper compensation, but they also displayed extreme unprofessionalism and rudeness throughout the entire process. They literally charged me close to $100 for the packaging material they used on TV which won’t even worth $5.00 . What made the situation even worse was their unprofessional and rude behavior. The movers displayed a complete lack of respect and seemed disinterested in providing quality service. Their demeanor was dismissive and unhelpful, which only added to my frustration. The icing on the cake was their refusal to compensate me properly for the damages they caused. Their actions and lack of accountability demonstrate a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I strongly discourage anyone from using All My Sons Moving Company. Their unprofessionalism, carelessness, and rude behavior have left me deeply disappointed. Save yourself the trouble and find a reputable moving company that values professionalism, customer service, and respects your belongings

‘Help you pack & move’ consisted of throwing everything in the boxes you bought half full w/ no packing (which you have plenty of) so you run out, then throwing one or two items in stacked tubs and putting something heavy on them so it breaks the lid and 'uses up' the tubs, and taking smoke breaks to run up the clock. Also expect small things in drawers to be lost despite wrapping dressers due to everything being loaded upside down intentionally while breaking a lamp that should never have been clamped so hard that it breaks a cement base. Expect any wood items to get scratched and dented due to carelessly not using the stack of moving blankets I could see in the truck. Charging you up the wazoo & leaving items behind, taking several smoke breaks running up the load time, then the employees offering their services personally at a discounted rate to ‘finish the job’ at a later time. Then holding your belongings hostage until you pay for the inflated time they caused, running the clock up even further, asking YOU to go buy them dinner, then paying for the time they ate. All the while, definitely high on something, clearly evident from their eyes and way they carried themselves. As a female by myself, it was not a good situation to be in, evident by the texts from my neighbor witnessing the disaster every 20 minutes to confirm I was okay.

We hired this company based on good reviews found online. Our move was into storage while we waited for our new home. We hired them to pack and move a 3700 sq foot home. They showed up with a 7 member team and worked for 2 days, loading 3 trucks. We were pleased with how hard they worked to load up everything and unload into 3 storage facilities. We gave them a very good rating and tipped them $100 each. It wasn’t until we made the move to our new house 6 months later that we realized how much damage was done to our belongings. During the move from storage, we found antique wooden furniture unwrapped and turned upside down on bare concrete. Heavy boxes had been stacked on top of other boxes that were smashed from the weight, breaking items inside. We found one box with broken crystal and ceramics the had no wrapping or paper used in the box at all. Everything was shattered in this box. A mahogany pool table that we had a professional company disassemble, prior to the move, was found unwrapped, standing on bare concrete and leaning against the wall wedged in by the refrigerator. Upon opening a large box with garage items loosely placed in it, we discovered a banjo wrapped in a moving blanket. Some of the boxes were packed correctly, but it is clear that some of the 7 member team did not know how to pack for a move. We had 4 of us watching the team work, but we weren’t able to keep up with them to prevent anything. This move was expensive and devastating. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

On a cold and rainy 11/19/22, all the way out in Pipe Creek, Xavier’s crew helped us move my best friend out of her crumbling prior residence into a newer place. We only needed their help with the furniture but they are a true credit to the company. They fulfilled the name of All My Son’s by treating us like family from beginning to end. They took great care with the furniture and got the job done as quickly as they could with the inclement weather. Xavier was on the ball making sure we had a heads up for the final price expectations (very appreciate as the phone quotes were inconsistent). Mylek is a true pro at dealing with strange angles and working furniture in/out. This was very needed since the new place has lots of tight turns and small doorways. Maxi was a pleasure to be around. He helped tackle the huge couch, was friendly, & seemed to be a true team player along with Xavier & Mylek. I cannot overstate how much I recommend Xavier’s crew. Without them we would not have been able to get her into the new place. Thank yall so much for the help & great work!

I don’t even really know where to start with the problems that I had. The movers at least showed up at the appointed time, so I thought that was going to show how the day was going to go. It was two people living in a 2 bedroom apartment on the third floor, so there wasn’t a lot of stuff, but everything that we had was packed up. We even had things that we decided to take with us, so out of the probably 43 boxes, we ended up taking 16-20 boxes along with other things like electronics. We are avid collectors and readers so we did have 19 bookcases, a lot I know, but everything was off of them. They spent 4 hours (830am-1230pm) moving everything down into the truck. They even took some things down to the dumpster for me, so that was much appreciated, I know that they did not have to do so. I don’t think that it should have taken them 4 hours to move around 20 boxes, 19 bookcases, and a handful of other things, but I don’t do this for a living every day so who knows. They asked if they minded if they went to lunch, which of course I didn’t mind. So they were gone for an hour. Got to the house, which was about 30 minutes away from the apartment, around 130pm and took 4 hours to move everything from the truck into the house. This is where the real problem starts. They asked us to show them around to see where things were going to go. I had not had a chance to re-paint any of the rooms so it was fairly simple to recognize the rooms. Pink, Purple, Sparkly Pink, and Beige. They started bringing the bookcases in, which they had only wrapped in the blue blanket and some shrink wrap. They kept asking where each one went, which I understand they wanted to make sure things went to the right places. However, they did not use care while taking them up the stairs, so I’m assuming they did not use care when they were bringing them down at the apartment. 9 of our 19 bookcases were ruined. Nails were torn out, the backs were torn off, pieces were chipped off, the bottoms torn apart. Some were leaning and there was even a whole entire shelf missing. My best friends husband looked in the truck for it and did not see it. I could see 1 or 2 things getting damaged in the move, but 9 bookcases? And they were $100 a piece, so they were not cheap. The next part of the problem was that in the end, they just put everything in the living room instead of putting it where we told them. All the boxes were labeled with the name of the room or color, depending on if it was upstairs or not. One of the movers was on a phone call when he was moving things, which was is fine, but take a small break if you need to make a personal phone call. They noticed the damage done to some of the bookcases and had a conversation with my sister about it. Finally, they had moved everything in and it was time for me to pay. $1800 for 8 hours of work. It should not have taken 8 hours, but once again, what do I know, I don’t do this for a living. In doing the math, they ended up charging me for their hour lunch break. I called the office in the following days and informed them of the damage and issues, plus the charge of the lunch break which it was confirmed that they were not supposed to do that. It’s been about 2 months since my move date and it has taken me this long to calm down enough over the damage. Now that I am thinking more on it, I was charged a $180 deposit fee, which was said to go towards my total price. I am thinking that it did not though. I understand that this may have been a fluke and these guys just had an off day, but it is still unacceptable, especially when they were only going to offer me $160 for 9 $100 bookshelves, eventually they ended up giving me just shy of $400 but that still didn’t get me new bookshelves to replace the ones that they carelessly broke.

The movers themselves were wonderful, but the management could not be worse. When i called we agreed upon $69 dollars an hour plus fuel and boxes if necessary. I required no boxes and only had them unload so my fuel payment should have been minimal, but instead of being charged somewhere around the $69 I agreed to, I was charged $480, putting my account in the negative. They got my email wrong so I have no reciepts to dispute this with my bank, and when I complained they said that was their companies rates and it wasn't their fault I was quoted incorrectly (it was). I am devastated and have no idea how I'm going to afford basic necessities now.

This was hands down the WORST moving experience I’ve ever had. I was in the military too, so that’s saying something. First, they quoted me 150 ish bucks an hour and told me they would be at my place at 9 am for three people. Well, a few days before the appointment they called and changed the rate to 209 per hour. Thought that was rude, but ok. Day of, I have people calling me at 7:50 am saying they are there. What happened to 9??? The manager, Marvin, was extremely pushy to my wife and forced us to let them in early. The driver, Vicente, was outstanding. He was courteous, professional, and tried really hard to get things done properly. The second guy was new, you could tell, but a very hard worker. The third person, however, was just plain awful. My 14 year old daughter moved more and heavier things than this person. It took them over 4 hours to load up a 2 bedroom apartment. At this point I called and asked them to take the third person away because I didn’t want to pay for someone to stand around and play Tetris on their phone. Long story short, I was charged over 1400 bucks for this move (15 minutes from my current place) and I will NEVER again. The manager was again rude oh the phone when I tried to negotiate the price, and he was also rude to my wife. For 1400 bucks, I could have gotten a uhaul and a couple or two powder kids to move it for way cheaper and faster than this crew did. The driver was doing the best he could with what he had, and I super want a refund for this. I have to take an extra day off of work to go back and get the rest because it would have been over 2 grand if I would have let them stay to get everything.

Things go missing with this company. Hire at your own risk. I had an expensive belonging that was in my house during the moving with All My Sons company, and is now missing. This was in my nightstand, which I saw one of the movers un-wrap my furniture next to it, so I checked and my belonging was still there. They left my property and about 10 minutes later I noticed this was missing. I then called them to come back. It took them about 30 mins to come back (which it was double the time it should had taken them), and of course the police didn't find it in their truck. I believe the crew was working together. Don't keep your eyes off them. I still haven't finish unpacking, and I am just praying nothing else is missing. I know Cruz and Rafael Martinez were working in the crew. I don't know the name of the other 2 movers. Hire at your own risk. Things will go missing! I then spoke with the head manager Steven, which basically told me he trusted his crew and that they didn't do anything. I have filed a complaint, and will update this once the solution is given to my case

Though I thought they charged too much, they came highly recommended. This turned out to be the worst moving experience ever. After agreeing to the estimate and paying the deposit, the management and sales people were EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. They sent out someone to provide an estimate. He looked at what we had to move and discussed additional items in storage and gave us an estimate. On the day of the move, they sent the wrong size truck and didn’t tell us until it was fully packed. Then the only option was to unpack the truck and lose our VERY LARGE deposit. They then demanded that we pay additional money for ANOTHER TRUCK. At this time we spoke with the owner/general manager and he assured us that the move would take place at no charge. We ended up paying for another truck and had to wait 10 days for the truck to be delivered. If you want dependable and courteous service, don’t use this company. They are extremely unorganized and do not know what they are doing. They will add to the stress of moving and find reasons to charge you more money. The customer service is horrible from top to bottom. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy!!!!

Consumers, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. This was the absolute WORST moving experience we have ever had. Our experience with All My Sons Moving is a horrendously long story. This is just a small sample of some of the things we were subjected to during our experiences with them. Our move consisted of several parts. We hired them to pack things and store them as we were staging our home for sale. Then when our house sold and closed we had them move us out of our old house and into the new house, and finally to move our things that were in their storage facility to the new house. We had to call the company numerous times to report extreme service issues at the time they were happening so they could step in and correct them and no one ever responded to us to try to make things right. To this day, NO ONE in any position of authority or management from their company has ever reached out to us to hear our "story" (complaints) or even to apologize for all their shortcomings. We have filed written complaints and claims with detailed documentation to describe our experiences to include pictures of belongings they destroyed. They treated our belongings with negligence and disrespect. We had over 60 items ( big and small) broken, ruined or missing. One of our main concerns was there was no one "in charge" on the scene on the day of the moves to do any kind of quality control or oversee the workers. The workers just did their own thing; up and left the job for the day on several occasions. It seemed as if they left when they felt like it. They did not finish our moves completely and left many things undone; boxes, furniture; outside items were left at the old house. Of which we had to go back and move ourselves. Then, when they brought our things from storage, they did not put the furniture/boxes etc in the rooms to which the boxes were labeled. They did not re-assemble any furniture that they took apart to move. They left the majority of the items that were in storage, boxes, furniture, home decor, ect in the garages at our new house...as if they just off loaded their truck into our garages and then left the premises. I tried to talk to the movers and find out why they were leaving our boxes in the garages and not putting them in the rooms that were labeled on the boxes. They would not even acknowledge me speaking to them. They walked to their truck as I was trying to speak to them. They never turned around to even look at me. They got in their truck, slammed the door shut, rolled up the window, all while debilerately turning his head away from me; and they drove off. I have NEVER been so disrespected and treated with such blatant unprofessionalism and lack of service in all my life! I was furious. We immediately contacted our salesman on the phone as soon as they left to get them back to our house and finish our move. The salesman stated the general manager and assistant were working on "another customer issue" and couldn't speak to me at the time. Needless to say, we NEVER heard back from anyone. After we made NUMEROUS calls to the salesman and managers, no one ever responded. Then one day a woman called said she was a Customer Service Claims Rep, and stated she was calling because she understood we had a question about our claim....??? WHAT???REALLY???...UNBELIEVEABLE!! We submitted a tremendous amount of documentation to them for our claim, and they responded with a ridiculous settelment offer, of which we refused. The Cust Serv Claims Rep received our refusal and stated that she would have to send our claim to their "Claims Review Bd". I immediately emailed her back requesting to know who had reviewed our claim/complaints thus far, and who was on the claims review bd and how often they met....Again, no response what so ever. According to their own contract agreement, they have 90 days, to answer our refusal. That was 127 days ago... We continue to persue satisfaction with this company. But I assure you, we will NEVER use All My Sons Moving again, and we certainly DO NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone needing moving or storage services.

I chose All My Sons partially through the assurances of the estimator about the excellent professionalism and responsiveness of their movers. He said it is extremely rare that any claims ever happen for broken items, and there isn't a need for extra insurance because the owner "always makes it right" in the one-in-a-blue-moon time if something does happen. Their justification for being SO MUCH more expensive then everyone else is their attention to detail every step of the way and their complaint resolution. They helped us move our stuff out of our house and into storage. No complaints, they were O.K. Nothing spectacular. When moving day came to move into the new house, I was having trouble getting a time when they will actually arrive. They met me at a storage unit to load up more equipment, including a pool table that was disassembled and placed there by the table's vendor. When it arrived at the house (15 minutes down the road), one of the pieces of slate was SHATTERED. It wasn't properly strapped down in the truck. The rest of the job wasn't great, but marginally passable. The furniture in general is a bit more dinged up then when it left. The furniture that they reassembled mostly rocks around so I had to go back and tightened everything. Very mediocre experience over all, certainly nothing close to amount of money I paid more then other movers. When I went to contact the company they immediately didn't not want anything to do with me. All I got was the repeated "call the corporate claims number, file a claim, wait". The idea that they wanted to help me at all was laughable. When I called the claims office I got the same run-around. Since I didn't get the "extra" insurance all they said they were liable for was $0.60 per pound of the damaged article - so basically nearly nothing at all. He admitted that no matter malicious they may of been and no matter how expensive the item may of been - they don't care. They have waive themselves of nearly any responsibility. All he wanted to keep saying was to submit my claim so I can get my 60 cents per pound. He flat out said that there is no way they will ever reimburse me for the actual cost of the item. I had to pay $866 out of pocket, in addition to the $2294 paid to the mover, in order to get my pool table repaired.

It started off a little rocky with the first person I spoke to on the phone didn’t listen to the type of move I had. I explained to them that this was a house move to an apartment move and they kept asking me irrelevant questions. However, I did receive.a follow up call from “Mark” and he was much more knowledgeable so I went ahead and booked the move. The first issue was I had scheduled a 1:00 pm move as I didn’t take possession until 12:30. The movers showed up 4:04 pm. For some reason they were surprised it was a “full move”. I was under the impression they thought it was only a partial move. This makes sense as during the move they were not able to take some glass pieces as they didn’t have enough packing material. The major issue I had with them was the cost. I moved enough furniture to move into an 846 sq foot, one bedroom apartment. It cost me $1014. I agreed to the labor per hour fee of $139 for two guys. However it took them nearly 5 hours to complete the move. In addition, they charged me one hour for travel at $139, which I can except. The other insane charge was &74 to put the 4 TVs that I have in boxes. The two guys were nice and polite but they were slow and milked the clock. There is no way a one bedroom should cost over $1k to move. Biggest items in move: 1 queen bed, 1 armoire, 1 tv stand, 1 washer, 1 dryer, 1 sofa, 3 rugs, 1 kitchen table with chairs, 1 small entry table, 2 small chairs. 3 bar stools, 4 TVs and then everything was box size or in boxes. The whole move fit into a one bedroom. 90% of the stuff was already located one the first floor and I moved into a first floor apartment. I have used other moving companies in the past and it has never been this expensive. I reached out to two friends who both recently moved and they never spent this much. So I would defiantly stay way from them again. Up front they seem comparable to the other major movers but they get you because they nickel and dime you for small charges and then they moved ridiculously slow. I was at their mercy since it was moving day. Common sense says a one bedroom apartment move should never cost $1014. During the move they damaged one item which I plan to put in a claim. We will see how that process goes and I will update the Angie’s list review.

First phase very chaotic, but seemed ok until we had an opportunity to see significant damage when items were removed from long-term storage during phase two, seven months. All My Sons refused to consider claim for damage during phase one because it was not possible to determine the damage during a 90-day period following the initial move. A full description of the damage and related claim can be seen at the link below. [*** Link removed ***]

This is the 4th time in 2.5 years that we have moved (flipping houses). We got Mark Liggins and crew the first time and have name requested Mark each time since. Mark has consistently been professional, careful, and quick. He manages his crew effectively and it is a smooth running process. IF we move again, Mark is the only person we would have do it. If he isn't available (no longer with the company) we will use All My Sons over another company, no question. They are trustworthy and responsive. All great experiences!!

We had a very good experience. They were very accommodating. I think both days we had three man teams.
Description of Work: They picked up on Tuesday then stored things on their truck and delivered it Saturday.

The move went well and quickly but I was charged hundreds of dollars more than was agreed to in advance and they sent 3 men instead of two which was not needed and bumped up the cost considerably since the loading and unloading was very quick (half an hour each)but it was about 360 miles round trip and I was paying for 3 men to ride in a truck when three weren't necessary. Also was charged $250 for fuel and $46 for "packing materials" which I was not told about in advance. The packing materials were a few blankets that they put on a few pieces after they put them in the truck. They did no packing.

Arrival time was between 8 - 9 AM. They arrived at 8:15. 3 man crew. Extremely professional, courteous and took the time to carefully move my artwork and large screen TV. I thought I would have to make a couple of side trips to finish everything but they picked up EVERYTHING! Brooms, vacuums, and the smallest of items. It was a very emotional move for me and they recognized this and were incredibly kind. They went above and beyond. This is the second time I have used All my Sons and I hope I don't have to move again - but if I do - they are my number one choice.
Description of Work: I moved from a high rise in San Antonio to a garden home in New Braunfels.
