They showed up on time. They got to work quickly and did the job professionally, and left no mess. They explained how the system worked and made sure it was working properly. They called and made an appt to come back 2 months later and retest our water and make some minor readjustments and again reviewed how the system worked. I have been very happy with their service.

I used to be a Texas Water Systems customer since they originally installed out Watts Reverse Osmosis system; but after trying to get a hold of them for 3 weeks and no follow up or reply...I checked Angie's List and came across AWS. From the first time I called them to make an appointment, the staff was very prompt, caring, professional, and informative over the phone. Lisa gave me an estimated quote of the service over the phone and was able to identify what might be wrong with our water system. The tech, Dustin, came on time and was very considerate by leaving his shoes outside. He was very knowledgeable, explained everything thoroughly, professional, and patient. He was able to do the routine filter change, identified and fix what was wrong with our system. He also discovered that the last tech that changed our filters, used improper filters on our system. He was so patient with our service by driving back to the office to get a new tank for us, since ours was busted and we didn't even know it. From now on, AWS will the company we call on to service our water softener and reverse osmosis system. Thank for your great customer service.

That's not the cheapest water softener you can get but we did shopping around and it was a really good package deal. It included the installation and it was a really high quality water softener and they sand behind the product. They said they'd come out in a few months and check upon it. I did some asking around and I think I got more than one recommendation, word of mouth locally here to back it up that's why I decided to go with them. It's not the cheapest but it's a very good value.

Dustin came out and serviced the unit. O-rings were damaged probably due to small rock or grit coming off the city water supply. Installed part on the softener. I also had them service the RO machine by changing the large and small filters on the RO. Dustin was the service tech. Called to let me know he was enroute. Arrived on time and handled business in a timely manner. I am 100% satisfied with the entire process!

Everything went well. My water softener has been working great...no problems. When he first installed the softener I couldn't believe the difference! Wow I was amazed. I don't know what took me so long to make the investment. It's well worth it. I'm very happy with it. Trevor sold us the water softener. When I called him he responded immediately came over to our home. Very nice young man. He did not pressure us into anything we didn't need. He scheduled the appt. immediately and within two weeks it was installed. The only issue I have is the follow-up visit. The young lady at the office called after the installation to see how everything went. I told it everything was good and she said within a month they would come out and check the water softener. As of today no one has come out or contacted me. I realize they are a very busy company but customer service comes first....hopefully I will be contacted soon. I went with this company because of the good reviews on Angie's List. The experience started off great. The rep came out and gave me a quote. He knew the product, was friendly and there was no pressure to buy. I scheduled a Saturday water softener/reverse osmosis install. Jerry and his crew were great and finished the install by 11:15am. He said the R/O installer would be out shortly after his crew left. No sign of the R/O installer. I called the office as well as the phone number on the softener unit. No answer from either as they were closed on Saturday. After 3pm, I was able to reach Jerry who apologized and said they did not have any R/O units in stock and the office would call me first thing Monday morning to reschedule. On Monday at 10:30am, I had to call the office myself. The lady said they typically don't install R/O units on Saturday, so I scheduled time off from work and I was put on the calendar for a Tuesday "late afternoon" install. Scheduler was polite and said she would call prior to the installers arrival. At 5:05pm no follow up was made and again I had to call the office myself, and was told the installer was running late. I told her that he could come as late as needed as I scheduled time off work. She politely said they do install on Saturday's and offered to put me on the calendar for "late afternoon" Saturday install. Yes, this is the 3rd time I've had to schedule this with a "no show". It is now after 6pm Saturday and I have been waiting all day and have not received a call. I just don't understand how something that started off so good could go so bad.

They were very timely in getting the new unit installed. Everybody in the office was very kind to work with and made it an easy process.

The team arrived on time. After explaining the work that needed to be done, they set to work. They were finished in about two hours and the work was done flawlessly. They took the time to explain how the water softener functions, how I can check it and bypass it, and answer my many questions. They also did a good job of cleaning up after all the digging.

It went well. My house was not plumbed for a water softener so they had to put pipe down it the front yard from the stree to the house. Installers worked hard and did a great job. Everyone we worked with from the company was professional and polite. Would recommend them to anyone.

Allen was professional and courteous. While giving a thorough explanation of each system offered, he never tried to oversell us and did not use pushy sales tactics. We trusted him and are very happy with the product. Thank you Allen!

Our house was plumbed for a water softener in a small utility room. We know the city water is very hard. We were tired of dealing with the calcium buildup on everything. After getting estimates from a couple other places, we called Alamo. Terry, the sales rep, impressed us from the start with his straightforward approach. There was no over-scienced jargon and no exaggeration (as we'd seen with other sales reps), just data and practicality. There was no attempt to sell us something bigger or fancier than what we needed. When I asked how much space this water softener would take up, he responded, "Let's go see," and measured out the space where the softener could go and how much room would be left. The installer was punctual, courteous, quick, efficient, and very apologetic when he found that the work couldn't be completed without moving a dryer -- which he could not do alone. He arranged for the earliest available return date. (I wish I had made a note of his name, so I could send a personalized commendation.) The two young men who came on the second call were also great, very professional and very quick at finishing the job. They talked with us at great length about monitoring salt levels, reading the status, etc. One of them set up the regeneration schedule for us. After the first regeneration/backwash cycle a few days later, we noted a small puddle on the floor and called for a recheck. Alamo sent the installers back promptly. They went over the whole assembly, tightened a couple of connections, and did a flush. There has been no more sign of leakage. The installation is meticulously neat, and I appreciate the way the workmen modified the regular layout for best fit into this small space. We are very glad to have soft water again, and we were very pleased with our whole experience with Alamo Water Softeners.

Alamo Water Softeners completed the work promptly and were able to accommodate my lack of installation-ready plumbing. They also installed two garden hose faucets, addressing one of my house's minor deficiencies. Prior to the installation, my dishes were often spotty after coming out of the dishwasher, but now they appear clean. I'm crediting the water softener with this improvement!

They came on time. They did a professional job. Charged a very competitive price. Cleaned up after the installation. Came back to check on the work to make sure that it was preforming the way it was supposed too.

We just purchased a new home in San Antonio and tested the water myself, which showed it to be very, very hard. I checked Angie's List and selected Alamo to come out and confirm my results. They arrived on time and tested the water and verified my findings. We then discussed diferent options and selected a specific unit. They installed it immediately, ran water throughout the system and lines, and retested it again after running the water for about 10 minutes. Results showed an immediate improvement. I would recommend this company.

They took the entire unit apart and informed my wife that it was going to cost $595 to get the softener running correctly. That?s when I decided to leave work and come home to a**** the damages and see what was going on. They pointed out that the resin (median) was gone, which was true. They moved the distributor (outlet manifold) up and down and mentioned that there was gravel at the bottom of the mineral tank. When I asked why the gravel they mentioned that the gravel had accumulated because the distributor was no longer filtering and reason for the gravel accumulation. Didn?t feel comfortable about the whole ordeal so I paid the $85 for the inspection and they left. I then contacted the original installers to change the distributor and fill with resin (media). The unit started to leak when the tech ran the system. He then took it apart and asked me if someone had worked on the system. The reason he asked is because the piston seals where not installed correctly and found rocks in the piston. With the exception of the median, the system just fine until Friday. Not accusing anyone, but interest enough that this unit had been working just find with the exception of not having media until technicians got their hands on it last Friday. There has not been any pluming work done to the house that could have made for rocks to get into the piston. So, today I ended up having to pay lots of $ to another company to fix the damages.

Thorough. Takes his time to explain everything and answer any questions. No high pressure sales. Send out annual notification to replace R.O. filters.
