All work was completed to a very high standard. The handyman and his partner were very skilled and conscientious. They worked long days over the holiday period to get the job done. Cold weather and rain led to some delays, but otherwise they were on the job every day until the job was completed. The roof was replaced by another company, but Alamo Handyman made it clear they would touch up any paint that needed it after the roof was finished, and they did. Before the work was begun they provided a very clear, detailed, itemized estimate.

Awesome. Guys showed up on time and did great work. Asked questions about deviations from normal procedures and sought other input. Cleaned up when they left. Great work!! Maybe could've found people to do it for less, but I don't mind paying a reasonable rate for good work.

Father & son arrived on time. Called ahead to let me know they were on the way. Did a super job! Cleaned up including the back porch area where they cleaned the fan.

After the following rain, it was evident the gutter in the back carried the water well but the water in the front gutter was pouring over the edge. I called the office and Jennifer sent Eddie out within a day. Eddie came out twice without charge to make the necessary adjustments. I am very pleased with the service and quality of knowledge.

Again, Eddie and Alamo Handyman delivered! Eddie showed up promptly and immediately went to work on the punch list I provided which was slightly different than what I had initially sent to the company. He expertly addressed every item on my list, all while keeping lines of communication open and offering suggestions which worked better than what I had planned. The entire time he was not only proficient but was courteous and knowledgeable as in past visits. He cleaned up after himself too and left our home in tip-top shape! I am a repeat customer for life and would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a handyman! The front office staff are great too BTW - Jennifer & Brandy. All very professional and courteous!

It went well. Carl, the tile guy, did a fantastic job and had great ideas. They were punctual and cleaned up daily. Their work is amazing!

This was the first time using this firm and found them to be professional, courteous and punctual both on the phone and during the work visit. The work was carried out in an efficient manner with minimal nuisance and mess.

Rey from Alamo Handyman arrived within the expected window of time and began by taking a look at each task that I had. He told me that he would start with the bifold closet door. Once he took the door down, he found that there was more damage to it than was immediately apparent. He showed me which hardware components needed to be replaced and described how he would do the work, then went to the hardware store to purchase the supplies. In the end, he repaired both closet doors rather than just the one I called about, and he also installed the towel bar in my shower, and hung a heavy painted sign in my sun room. This is the second time Rey has come out for pesky tasks like these, and I was very pleased with his work both times. He is very polite and professional, and he works efficiently.

Projects started out well, We we happy with quality of painting in garage and home, although workers didn't cover most things in home so paint splatters everywhere, and we had to pay extra for all the paint they had to buy because they said walls were soaking up paint more than usual. Closet took a long time to complete and ended up costing more than we expected. Medicine cabinet apparently had to be made from scratch and has one edge that is not finished. Kitchen cabinets were a nightmare. We requested an acrylic paint. Contractor said he'd spray cabinet doors but did not, and we asked that they use foam rollers on cabinets, but he told us they did not use rollers, assuring us finish would be smooth. Workers painted and sanded cabinets over and over again for a week and could not get smooth finish. Estimate was $1,900 (just for cabinets), which we thought was a little low to begin with, so when he asked for additional money, we willingly paid before they finished. Total was $3,100. When they finished, we let him know we were not happy at all with cabinets--brush marks and sanding marks all over, some areas not covered. Contractor said he would send "real painters" to re-do them, and we'd split the difference of the extra cost. He said issue was because we had requested acrylic paint (he had tried to talk us into oil-based paint.) Told us Sherwin Williams told him they had been receiving a lot of complaints about their acrylic paint, but when we went to talk to them they assured us that they had spent 20 years perfecting acrylic paint to be nearly as good as oil-based. "Real" painters showed up and said they could make the cabinets look good no matter what paint we chose. They were very professional, finished in a short period of time, and cabinets were just the way we wanted. However, contractor asked for additional $6,000 (!!!) to pay them, saying it was our fault because of the color and refusing to acknowledge the poor paint job that was initially done. We agreed to $4,000 because we knew second group of painters had to be paid, and he would pay for supplies, but then he refused to pay for supplies. So we ended up paying close to $7,500 to have kitchen cabinets painted. From online research it seems that an average price would be about $100 per door, so $4,000 total for our kitchen. We had no problem with second group of painters, but disgusted that we had to pay for the original poor job. Except for painting of garage and house, everything ended up costing far more than we expected.

Every thing went as planned with additional help with a second project. I have been using Alamo Handyman for a number of years now for various projects from repairing wall termite damage, plaster work and much more. This company is not only responsive, but they will do the small jobs that others might not come out to do for a reasonable price.

I used Alamo Handyman for a previous project and was pleased so called on May 31 requesting an estimate for this project. Was told that she would check with Brian to see when we could schedule an estimate appointment. Heard nothing for several weeks. Over 3 weeks later on June 22 while I was on vacation with no cell service, she called to say that Brian was in my area and wanted to stop by to do the estimate. When I returned on June 28, I called, explained that I had been out of town, and was told that Brian's scheduler was out of the office, would be back tomorrow, and she would have her call me. No apology for the delay, an I am still waiting!

The company was easy to work with, and Shane did an excellent job. He was very professional, polite, and helpful by explaining everything.

It went quite well. Shane swapped doors in the first location, went with us to the second location, and swapped doors there equally well. It took some problem-solving - and the purchase of some tools - in the second location, but Shane accomplished it all quickly and expertly.

Even under 100 degree temperatures, Shane did the work quickly and in an outstanding manner! I'm very pleased with the results and would definitely hire Alamo Handyman again for any other jobs I may need done in my home!

Door was damaged when picked up. They were very professional and thorough when inspecting item from Home Depot. I am so glad. They are ordering new door and I expect them to continue where they left off

I had meant to have this project done when I had Alamo Handyman come out last month, but had forgotten to include this task in my proposal. Never the less, Eddie once again arrived and as in the past, showed up on time and went right to work, completing the job in short order. My house looks even better now that the front fascia is painted! I'd highly recommend this company to anyone needing their services!!

Eddie and his helper arrived on time & worked tirelessly to complete every task. When rain interfered with the outside paint jobs, Eddie made arrangements and returned within a few days to complete the project. Each day they left my home as neat as a pin and were very professional and efficient. I'm very impressed with their work and would highly recommend this company to anyone needing their services! Their front office staff are very professional as well! Kudos to all for giving me peace of mind knowing these tasks are off of my to-do list and were done in a professional manner!

I used Angie's list to search for a contractor to do a repair on my home. Used the contact information to contact them. I sent photos and details of what needed to be done. Brandy initially replied saying: "Thank you for contacting Alamo Handyman. I'll have our estimator take a look and see if we can give you a quote. If he feels he needs to go out and make a visit, I will contact you for an appointment." I waited 2 days, and then called the company, asked for Brandy to follow up on this and was told she was out of the office and would return my phone call. I also sent a follow up email asking if there were any updates. Three days later, there are still no attempts at the company to even reply even to tell me they can't/won't offer me an estimate, or take the job.

I called Alamo Handyman for information and to set-up a time and date for an estimate. Brandy gave me an appointment for May 17, 2017 with an estimated time of arrival between 8 a.m. and 12 Noon. I took the day off work to keep this appointment, the day of the appointment at 10:00 a.m. I called Alamo Handyman spoke to Brandy once again to inquire if handyman was on time and I was told that he would be there between 10 a.m. and 12 Noon. I waited until 1:00 p.m. an hour past the agreed scheduled time, no one arrived between 8:00 a.m. to 12 Noon that day. No one called to let me know they were running late or to offer an explanation. I lost a days work! I was upset nevertheless I called Alamo Handyman a day after and asked if they had a Saturday appointment Brandy said she was going to check the schedule and call me back. I never received a call back Brandy. This company is not honest, responsible, or reliable, do not trust or waist you time with Alamo Handyman for they will not respect your time.
