I am not in the habit of begging a contractor to allow me to be his client, after all he may not even need or my business. After a reasonable amount of time. I found someone else to do the work for me.

Description of Work: The provider thoroughly checked all the concerns I had previously addressed and realized I no longer had these problems. Though the provider checked the areas for approximately 20 mins..they didn't charge me ANYTHING. I was impressed with that and will definitely call them if I have future issues.

Description of Work: I called AH about a year ago and scheduled an estimate. Nobody showed. So this year I went through Angie's List to schedule someone to come out to give an estimate on several jobs I needed done. It was a 2 week wait. Someone called this past Friday to CONFIRM the appointment today between 4-6. Well guess what? It's 6:18pm and nobody showed up. Again. Needless to say I'm done with Alamo Handyman.

He was very helpful and listened when I had a concern. I am rescheduling him again to day to hang some new things I have arriving in the next few days.Great Job! I am also referring him to friends and family.

Description of Work: We had hail damage in San Antonio, TX. They came out to repair my porch, replaced a gutter in the back of the house, and repaired some hand rails.

Description of Work: We live out of state and we own a rental property in San Antonio. We needed to replace the flooring in the house and contacted Alamo Handyman for a quote. They responded in a timely manner and helped us through the entire process from shopping for flooring, picking it out and purchasing to installation. Phone calls were always returned timely and consideration for our tenant's schedule speaks for itself since he installed the floor on a Sunday. We are very happy and will definitely call on this company again for any household work we need performed.

Description of Work: I called in for an estimate yesterday and my phone call was returned today. My hands were full so I couldn't answer right that second. I immediately called back and was put on hold for over 9 minutes before anyone picked up. I was told it would be $35.00 to come "all the way out to my house" ( 1 mile from Rolling oaks mall ). Also, I was told it will be next month before someone can come "way out here." I don't feel that there was an understanding for my sense of urgency or any concern for a level of professionalism

Description of Work: I called this company a few weeks ago and made an appointment at my rental house on 7/5. The guy showed up on time and we went through all 4 items that I needed done. Gutters, patching work, fix gates and fencing, add some lighting. Nice guy and seemed interested. I was happy that I could get everything done instead of calling a different company for each item. Said he would email me with estimate. Never heard from them now it's 2 weeks later. Called the company 2 times since and they told me the estimate was coming. Still nothing. Disappointed. Does it usually take so long to get estimates? This company cannot deny this review.

Description of Work: Opened up wall in kitchen that had a void in it. Made more cabinet space for kitchen. He had to move studs over and reframe opening. It gave us extra space 2x2x7 with 5 shelves. Made a custom door for opening so it would open and not hit window sill. That gave is a deep space to put extra long bunch bowls etc that is used on ly once a year. He made door and shelves out of 5/8 plywood. Very strudy and will hold heavy things. He framed and edged the door and shelves. He knew what he was doing. He alo stripped and restrained the front door. That took all day due to my door had something hard to strip off. It did take a few extra days to finish the job due to the recent rains and drying time was prolonged. He came on a Sunday to complete the work. I was pleased that he would come on weekend to finish up. He had good clean up and was very easy to work with and comunicated well. Keep me informed as to weather delays and his arrival time. That was really good to know what was going on. I have more jobs to do around the house and would hire them again. I also got a 30 dollar discount for the job via angies list discount.
