Michelle in the office was very helpful, friendly and professional, getting a technician out to me within an hour.. Justin, the technician was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would definitely use this business again.

My experience with them was great and they were really good. They didn't try to talk me into other things. They just did the service and told me the condition of my air conditioner in that it probably will be going out because it's so old, but they didn't pressure me to purchase anything and it's still running.

They kept my old air conditioner alive long past its useful date. They are very responsive and they are willing to go the extra mile. The office staff is fantastic as well. I have an old house that was mortified heavily by the prior owner that has been nothing but headache and they have gone over and beyond making things work in a house that was not built for and air conditioner to begin with. They have done a fantastic job over the years and I wouldn't use anybody else.

We called Aire Serv because we needed to find a new company to service our heating/AC units. We are so pleased we chose AIre Serv. The technician was prompt, courteous, and very thorough. He even noticed and corrected a vibration problem that the last company couldn't fix and finally just told us it was nothing to worry about. We were thrilled when Justin noticed it, explained what the problem was, and fixed it. Aire Serv will be servicing our units from now on.

Punctual, quiet, and thorough. Employees very respectful and professional. No mess. Highly recommend them. Fredrick presented what was going to be done and explained it in detail.

They were nice and efficient. They had to think outside of the box for the service. Overall it was a very good experience.

They were thorough and did a good job; the products are still working. They added on a year maintenance service where they come in and check the system to make sure it is working okay in that replacement. They have been out since then on a follow up. They cleaned up after they installed the system and hauled everything away; they did everything I needed them to do. I was happy with them.

I would recommend them to everyone. The pricing was better than any of the other 4 companies that I had out, even those recommended by friends that had just had them done! They were extremely helpful when I had concerns. The only concern was that they had unhooked my doorbell wiring but that didn't affect their service. They applied for all my rebates which I did receive from CPS and they gave the manufacturer discount as well as the Angies List discount.

I was happy with the installation but I have not seen it do anything for my sinuses and allergies. It may not be their fault. It may be that this the UV Light is not the answer to my problems.

My family stayed comfortable throughout the entire process of troubleshooting, temporary fix, and final replacement of the defective part. A welcomed relief from previous HVAC issues and another service company. Technician was excellent -- kept me informed at each critical point and performed far above my expectations.

The guy was excellent and informative. He did the work and offered other work that could be done down the road. He was perfect.

I checked Angies List to find a good rated air conditioning service. I chose AireServ because of the high ratings given on your list. The technition Enrique responded and was very quick to identify the problem and fixed it promptly. Enrique was pleasant and actually had a sense of humor. I asked him to look at the wall thermostat and I asked him to replace it while he was there. He did so and the thermostat and ac has never worked better. Thank you Enrique A.

A man came to inspect my heating system, as I've had trouble with efficient heating of my home (The original installers 'Cool Concepts' of San Antonio screwed it up when the house was built). The man sampled the output of all registers and took a look at the zone controls (which don't work the way they're supposed to - a result of poor design by 'Cool Concepts'). I asked the man what he could do about the zones not working correctly, he said he didn't have enough experience with them, but the owner did and he would talk to him and get back to me. He never did. I paid for both winter and summer inspections. As of today (6/27/2012) I've heard nothing from Aire-Serv about an inspection for my air conditioning - and at this point I have no reason to expect to. Since Aire-Serv has great ratings, I'm beginning to think Angie's List ratings are just as useless as using the yellow pages. 2/7/2014 Update : The pre-summer inspection was actually done before summer hit this time (on 5/16/2013), but as of right now, it's 2/7/2014 - and no one's come or called for the pre-winter inspection. Seems a little pointless now. Add that to the fact that they never, ever get back to me about re-doing my zoning controller (despite always telling the technician to pass on my requests when they're here), and I don't see how they can stay in business with this type of activity. I'll never use them again.

They were responsive. They gave me an estimate. They were willing to work with me. They were timely. They did the job well. I got an estimate from a second company. Their price was competitive. The price included a twice a year maintenance calls.

My home AC stopped working - compressor dead. I specifically selected this company because one of the reviewers stated that they will thoroughly check the system and not just tell you that the whole thing needs replacing. That is exactly what the serviceman (Enrique) did. It was a small $200 part that could have cost me $7000 if I want with a less honest service. Enrique was punctual, professional and courteous. Normally I don't sign up for maintenance, but this time I did given that my AC is 9 years old and the company seems to be honest and straightforward. I definitely R recommend them.

We met the Aire Serv representatives at the 2011 San Antonio Home & Garden Show. We needed to have some attic ducts replaced and insulation added to our attic space. During the show John Pelech, our consultant, booked an appointment with us on the spot. John came by our home the following week and provided a very thorough inspection and a reasonable price to have the work completed. Based upon his professionalism and his companies ability to start the job the next day we moved forward. In addition, because we have our heating and cooling system serviced every year as a preventative measure we decided to pay $139.00 as well to be on this program. the techinicians arrived as promised the next morning and did a very thorough job. Needless to say we will be using Aire Serv in the future and have recommended them to our neighbors.

These folks installed a complete new system (inside and out) as our system was old and decrepit, under the Texas Rebate program last year. The work done at that time was exemplary, and they went above and beyond what was expected of them. Since then, they have been proactive about contacting us to see how the unit is doing, and scheduling any new widgits the city or state requires. All-in-all, a great company. I have had a service plan with them for years (extending the life of the prior antiquated system), and have every expectation of continuing with them, no matter what offers I get from other companies (many, many offers -- apparently thanks to state mailing lists).

Selected this company based on its good reviews on Angies List and BBB ratings as well as meeting with John Pelech sales consultant. Competitive price, warranty and Brand name Equipment. Two technicians installed the system and were courteous, professional and did quality work. However the city inspector found two items for correction, installation of sediment trap in gas line and install 50 amp cutoff box instead of 30 amp that was installed. Technicians traveled from San Marcos to San Antonio and arrived later than expected. Bottom line.. this is a small buisness based in San Marcos, that has the Aire Serv franchise in this area, with good people and values that are customer oriented. They may not be as quick to respond as local larger companies but they seem very capable of providing great service.

Their service was very good. The technicians showed up time, and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. They were very friendly and not at all pushy, which I appreciated. We did have some issues with the wiring, which wasn't their fault, but they were always extremely responsive to my calls.

Good, except that the technician had to recommend a multi-level service contract for twice yearly heating/A/C service which I felt was too expensive. He did not pressure us to buy the contract.

I chose Aire Serv solely on the basis of the Angies List recommendations. I wanted an honest answer from someone. I wanted to know if I needed a new unit or if I could just repair the old unit. I had two other companies come out and pretty much told me that I needed a new unit before they ever saw the old one. Ruben came out and really went over the unit thoroughly. (there are 2 Rubens and they are both great) He proved to my satisfaction that my unit was not only old but bordering on dangerous. John then came out and gave me an estimate which was $3000 LESS than the other two estimates. We chose the better Carrier system because it qualified for the Tax credit where as the other unit had a lower price and a lower rating so it did NOT qualify for the tax credit. With the tax credit the Carrier unit was actually cheaper overall. We scheduled the install for Monday Dec 21. The techs were about 2 hours late from what time I was told they would be here. That's no big deal and they got the job done in the same day but I thought that I would mention it. The techs did a very good job. They were quiet and picked up and removed the old unit when they left. They needed to install some duct work that they didn't have with them so Ruben (the other Ruben) came out and installed it yesterday and also checked the entire system to make sure everything was okay. Communication with the company was very good. I got my calls answered quickly. Overall this company was great. I really feel that I got more than my moneys worth. I would use them again without any hesitation.

Aire Serv sent a technician to find out why the furnace was not working on a Saturday. Since the furnace needed a new part we had to wait until Monday to fix the problem. The whole process was conducted professionally with cost estimate given along the way. The thechnician came when scheduled . Politeness and care in coming in and out of the house were appreciated.

The technician was prompt, very polite, very thorough, and very professional. I also got a $10 discount because I was a member of Angie?s List. Aire Serv Heating & Air Conditioning was terrific.

Overall the experience was a pleasant one. The work was completed very promptly when they got the part, which only took one day as my service call was late in the day. The initial visit was scheduled for a 3 hour window, however they were an hour and a half late with no call to let me know. I would have preferred a call to let me know, but it wasn't a big deal. They wear little shoe covers any time they enter the house, which I really appreciate. I also had an issue with 1 room being warmer and the technician checked it out and corrected the minor problem causing it for no charge. (Something in the attic was just tossed on to the duct that went to that room, almost completely pinching it closed.)

They guys are very knowledgeable. They are very prompt and come when they say. They wear booties in the house and clean up when they leave.
