The gentleman that came to the house was very professional. My complaint was that the a/c wasn't cooling. I have had that complaint since I bought the house. Others recommended a new unit, and that it had a leak that couldn't find it. Turned out I had too many filters restricting the air flow in the house. Once he removed the filters and charged the unit, everything worked fine. I was greatful for his honesty and his knowledge. I will be signing up for the year inspections because I have faith in them to do it right.

The service tech was on time and very professional and friendly. He did a very thorough inspection and cleaning of the system. He let me know of a few minor things of concern, and did not pressure me to have repairs done that I was not wanting to do at the time. I'll be calling them in the future for sure.

Air Authority never returned my call, never contacted me via email as requested.

Robert was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I called on Thursday afternoon and was able to get an appointment the following Monday in the time slot that worked for me. He explained everything in detail, including our equipment and the equipment he was using, it's basic functions and readings, and offered advice about maintaining the system ourselves between tune-ups. He told us what else we may need to do in the future (particularly checking for a leak, if we discover it's not cooling well again), but didn't try to sell us lots of services and equipment like I've experienced with other HVAC companies. He did tell us about their annual service plan (a great price), but didn't pressure me to sign up on the spot. All of this was done quickly and efficiently (in about an hour).

The inspection was very thorough, and they provided a written report of their findings afterwards. The report states the HVAC system is in good working order. This is my second encounter with this company, and I have been favorably impressed both times.

Great report that all was in good working order-

We replaced our upstairs AC unit a few years ago. Still, the upstairs section of our home never cooled properly. We had several providers out to the house and, although we paid many fees, no one could give us a resolution to the issue. I found Air Authority on Angie's List and gave them a call. Robert quickly came to our home and after a thorough assessment, recommended that we replace the duct work. He was very professional and even took pictures of the problem areas in the attic. We contracted to have this work done and it was completed in a couple of days. The upstairs section of the house now stays wonderfully cool! Within a couple of months, our downstairs AC unit went out. This was really no surprise as this unit was quite old and we knew it would have to be replaced soon. Again, we call Air Authority! Robert and Chester came out to the house, estimated the work, and gave us three options on choice of unit. We chose the upgraded unit and Robert and Chester, with their other great team members, got the new AC unit installed in one day. After dealing with so many other AC Heating/Repair companies that charged large fees but never really resolved issues, it has been a blessing to find Robert and Chester, owners of Air Authority. They were very quick to respond and determine the root cause of our AC issues. Plus, they gave us several options for resolutions, including explanations of pro's and con's of each. Although we hope to not need any more AC work in the near future, if we do, I will call Air Authority!

Chester was amazing. He unclogged the line in a couple of minutes, and explained how I can prevent the problem from happening again in the future! Same-day service to boot! Great experience. Thank you, Chester.

I was very pleased with the outcome. The price listed above included an Angie's List discount + cash discount. The owner, Chester, was very curtious and didn't give me any BS. He was the only one who came in with a binder that showed me his credentials as well as his flat rates per item/installation (VERY nice). I interviewed several companies and his price range was right in the middle of what I was expecting for the amount of work needed to be done (with one company called Shaffer charging more than double for the same amount of work----absurd). The entire job took approximately 8 hr. They ran into a small snag with two of my vents being odd sizes, but were able to order and install the vents the very next week. The City Inspector actually came out to my house 2 weeks after my CPS rebate was filed to inspect the work and it all passed (>2500 rebate!). I plan on using them again and would suggest that you do as well.

Installation went very smooth with no issues. This is our second replacement effort with Air Authorty with our first last summer handling our larger primary unit. Ultimately, we got connected to Air Authorty after a bad experience with another local AC company. The key for our satisfaction lied in there ability to explain the problems we were having and an appropriate resolution without using industry double talk. Based on our satisfaction we now have a maintenance plan through them after canceling our plan with American Home Sheild. We have also recommended them to several friends.

The inspection went fine, and they left me a detailed report of the inspection. I didn’t need any additional repairs done.

Phillip with Air Authority was sent to my home via my home warranty company. He was very nice, respectful and resolved the issue in a timely manner. Would recommend and use Air Authority outside of home warranty. I am leery of home warranty subcontractors due to several bad experiences . Air Authority is heads above the typical!!!

They checked to make sure that everything was working properly. The technician was really nice, answered all of my questions, and treated me like I mattered. It is great to do business with someone who shows integrity and honesty in the performance of their duties.

He had to drive around and find a part. He stayed after to make sure that it worked. I would have no problem recommending him to my friends and family. They were very, very professional and nice. They did a great job.

Diagnosed our home a/c system. They were very prompt and early with the time slot that they gave me. Did not track dirt in & out the house during the entire process (wore socks/booties over their shoes). They explained costs before doing anything. Chester & Robert were very friendly and I did not feel like they bombarded me with HVAC lingo to make me panic. All parts were ready and loaded in their trucks so no long waits, finished within 1.5 hours! I have never felt our house this cool/cold ever and we've been here for a little over two years. I'm sure this fix will save us money in the long run! They also offered future services/maintenance plans after the service.
