Jason gave us a great price on the granite and even went with us to pick out the slab we wanted. We did the demolition of the existing tile counter tops and Jason and he men hauled it away for us. Their work was very good, and one thing that really impressed me was that during the installation, Jason found that there was a half inch difference in level between the cabinets. Rather than just shim them and get the work done and get paid, he recommended that we get the cabinets leveled so that there would not be future problems the granite.He recommended someone and they came out on a Sunday and did a very professional job of leveling all cabinets. I would highly recommend Jason and his company, in fact we will be using them for our master bathroom when we put granite in there.

Jason provided a competitive estimate to perform the work and also provided us with how the process would work. He met us at the granite sales office where he helped us select the best quality stone for our price range. He kept us informed of the price and to the progress of fabrication. He never missed a date and during the install was present to oversee the crew. Jason is the Owner of the company and takes great pride in his installs and that is carried down to his crews. He used his experience to give us some new ideas on what we wanted as well as helped keep us from making typical mistakes. We will be using AGS again to replace our master bath vanity and are looking forward to another positive business experience. Thanks again for the great job! Ryan and Jill Mills

I had a great experience with AGS Granite. I have a large kitchen -- 76 square feet of counters, including an island -- but they got the job done in one day and it looks great. The granite only has one seam in the whole job, and you can barely see it. I also had them bring me a new sink. Jason helped me pick out my two granite slabs, and also tiles for the backsplash, and they work very well together. He gave me the names of a plumber and a tile installer, and they came out the next day after the granite was installed to lay the tile and hook up my new sink. All in all, the job went very well. I did have to call Jason once to remind him that someone needed to come out and seal the granite, but he was there within a few minutes after I called. All the workmen were friendly and willing to explain the process to me. I am planning to have Jason put granite counters in my two bathrooms.

Before contacting AGS Granite, we stopped by Lowes and Home Depot to get a quote for replacing our countertops in our kitchen. Their quotes were well above 5k and did not include a sink replacement. When we searched on Angie's List we were excited to see that AGS Granite was not only significantly less that the ones quoted to us at the stores, but they had an additional discounted offer just for using Angie's List. Jason came to the house, took measurements, showed us sink options and gave us a quote right there on the spot. He didn't try to upsell us on a higher quality of granite and gave us suggestions on our sink type based on our needs, not based on how expensive the sink would be. A day or so later, a young man showed up and took the measurements of the kitchen and within two weeks the granite slabs were ready to be delivered. The men were quick and very professional. We had concerns that the backsplash might get damaged in the removing of the existing countertops but they did not damage the backsplash at all. Two days after the initial install, the men returned to finish the back part of the countertops. (You have to wait at least 48 hours before completing the back part of the countertops that attach to the wall.) Jason and his team were very pleasant to work with and we would definitely recommend them to anyone who would like to replace their countertops! Our before and after pictures are amazing!!!!

Excellent. They are totally professional, reasonably priced and delivered as promised on time. Jason bent over backwards to please me. I was dealing with another contractor at the time with other work in the baths who was the opposite of AGS. It was an absolute wonderful and stress free experience. I did have a couple of other bids. They were not the lowest, but close to the other contractor I was considering. I choose AGS because of other reviews and their promptness, always phone calls quickly.

My husband and I had been shopping all over San Antonio for granite, we joined Angie's list and I saw AGS's coupon offer for granite installed, and it was a good price. I contacted Jason and asked him about purchasing a higher grade of granite and I had a lot of other questions for him. Jason was very prompt in returning my calls and answering my questions. It was a very busy time of year because it was the week before Thanksgiving and people were trying to get their new kitchens finished before the holidays. We chose our granite and Jason met with us at the granite supplier's warehouse and taped off the pieces for us. There was enough granite for our bathroom countertops. He also did my window sill at no charge. Jason and his team worked until 10:30 p.m. one night. They are courteous and hardworking. We appreciated his hard work. WE LOVE OUR COUNTERTOPS.

Overall everything went well. They did what they said they were going to do and did it at a good price. The only thing that didn't go so well was the timeline or lack of one. If you should use them just make sure you have AGS sets your expectations up front. Jason came over and measured and took my deposit( half of total job). He said he would have the granite at his business in the next 2 days but took 6. Normally that would not have bothered me, but when you give someone over a grand and u don't hear from them in a few days it stressed me out. Once i came to the conclusion they were a reputable firm then everything else went fine. Jason followed up after the job was done. Job took 9 days from the time jason came over to measure until completion. They did put a few holes in my Sheetrock when the took out the old back splash. I don't know if that is normal, but since I am putting tile as a new back splash I am not too worried about it. Overall I gad a good experience and would recommend them.

Went well. Jason was timely with phone calls and follow-up. He checked-in during the job and followed-up when necessary.

Jason came out promptly, measured, and gave me an estimate for installing the granite in my kitchen. I had an idea of what I wanted and he was able to give me a couple of ideas right off. He offered to meet me where the slabs are stored so that I could choose one. I had used this company before and was familiar with that process. There are levels of granite depending upon consistency of pattern in the slab and on individual budget. After I selected one, a couple of days later, I changed my mind on the color slab I was going to use. Jason handled it professionally, and, since, they had not cut yet, the change was made. The change caused some delay. Then scheduling from the company also caused a delay. However, the delays were not that significant and the countertops were installed within 2-3 weeks of original plan. Once installed, I was not completely satisfied with the cut around the cooktop. Jason came out, we discussed it and he was able to make some changes without changing the slab. Overall, I was happy with the price, the service, the quality and variety of selection of granite. Would use them again.

It went exceptionally well. Jason was very easy to work with and was very co-operative. The granite company had a very large selection of colors and levels to choose from. The two installers, Edgar and Riccardo were exceptionally hard working and polite. They did an excellent job! They removed the old appliances and cleaned up very well. I am very "picky", but was very pleased with this company. I would use them again.

Not well...job was rushed, did not show when promised and once the job was finished never heard from them again.

Overall we are very pleased. From the first contact with AGS through installation AGS exceeded our interactions with their competitors. The owner, Jason, met us at the slab yard and walked with us commenting on the various slabs. He also found a slab that, while was not in the original list of level we were looking at, was priced lower than we expected. The installation went well. While the crew was late, I did get a call before the time asking if I wanted to reschedule. They finished the rip-out and install for the most part in one day. Two pieces of back splash and some touch up caulking were done the following week. AGS had an arrangement for financing which made the whole thing painless. The finance company advised us to not sign off until everything was complete, so as soon as the back splash and caulking were done we called and released the funds. We had some minor scrapes from the rip-out but nothing major. Having dealt with construction trades in the past I do not think we could have dealt with a more polite and professional team. Good job AGS!

AGS was the most responsive of the countertop replacement contractors that we contacted. They were also the cheapest in price and they did the job with no seams. On the install day, they were at our house when they said they would and were done when they said they would. We are very pleased.

The crew at AGS can be difficult to get a hold of, but when you can get them on the job they do a professional job at a price that cannot be beat. We were getting quotes closer to the $5k range that didn't include demolition of our old counters. This price included demolition of old counters, installation of new granite counters and an undermount Blanco stone sink. We had trouble getting in touch with AGS at times. Either the mailbox was full, or the phone went straight to voicemail for days. But eventually they got with us and did a great job. We were able to pick out our own slab, and they finished the job in a timely manner. Would recommend dealing with the communication game because the price and performance is worth it.

From the start Jason came with plenty of samples for us to see and provided an in home consult which really helped make the process stress free, he offered really good advice and went over a lot of things that other granite companies did not touch on at all. Our installation went smooth they were in and out in one day as promised and my granite looks amazing, truly it was painless! I did have to wait to connect my sink the filling day and also commence the tile work. Overall I was very happy with the whole process.

The granite company where we went to look at granite recommended AGS. we contacted the company, they came to the house and we were given a rough estimate. We were told that they'd have to measure for a final estimate. We okayed the measuring and another man came out. We contracted and met them at the granite company where we picked our slab.Things went smoothly except for the communication. We sometimes felt like we didn't know the status of things because our emails and calls were responded to not in a timely fashion. Everyone was extremely polite and the overall effect is beautiful but my issue is in the details - a couple of rough corners - and the communication.

My kitchen looks amazing! from start to finish my project about 2 weeks, I was very impressed with the installation and the overall quality my seams look really good. I also found their prices to be very competitive much less than the big box store i was also quoted by.
