Tex-Perts called me as soon as I signed up for the big Deal to schedule the appointment. Fast, friendly, and on time.

The young man was very professional but missed a critical point to an air conditioning inspection.

It was great. Explained what he had done and what it was for.

We paid for an a/c tune up on a house we just purchased, the a/c units are old (15-20) but we don't want to replace them until spring so figured just have them tuned up. They ran fine and cooled the house but twice the drip pan didn't drain and overflowed. We have three units and have enjoyed Angie's list promotions as a way to screen contractors for bigger jobs, so we paid for the tune up. The guy that came out was professional and helpful and explained what he was doing. During the work something cracked and now it had to be repaired. Not faulting the guy for breaking it as I said the units are way passed their expiration date. He apologized and again really not surprised it broke. So were set to pay for the part and have it put in. He called the office and the head guy charged us for the part and it was way more then if I bought it myself like double and then some. Also it was late and while we would have let the guy go instead of working in the dark, however then we would have been charged a service charge/trip charge and it would have been a whole separate visit. Felt bad for the guy who had to deal with us face to face, again weren't angry with him, but thought the office took advantage of the situation, either pay their crazy price now or now don't let them repair it and be suck with a now nonfunctioning a/c and suffer since it's in the 90"s. Would have given them an A, due to the work and skill and knowledge of the guy out here, but give them a D for their business practice, office didn't even want to talk to me, (again by now it was after hours). It's a shame we have three A/C units to replace in the spring and I don't think I would even call here to get an estimate. They may have gotten 900 bucks out of my Angie's Tune Up deal, but lost a much bigger job. It's not just the techs responsibility in securing follow up business, its the business office can't say enough: Customer service, customer service, customer service.

Overall, my experience(s) with TexPerts have always been extremely satisfactory, I can not say anything negetive about them.

My AC stopped working and they responded quickly and were out in just a few hours. I was very impressed by the speed at which they came, especially since it was a weekend. The price of their part was very high though. Labor price was average but with the part price marked up, I couldn't afford to get the work done. I opted to have a hot house for a day and waited until another AC company could repair it the next day. That other company charged a similar price for labor but only doubled the price of the part. I am fine with a double or even triple mark up but selling the capacitor for 5 times the cost seemed much to high for me.

The outside unit for our AC/Heat Pump was making various abnormal noises. Tex-perts was very prompt in getting a technician to our home in Bulverde. He was very professional, courteous, and I believe straightforward in assessing the problem. Though our unit is 16 yrs old and showing signs of wear, he did not try to push a new unit replacement on us. We went for the repair option and all is well for now. Then, upon our request, Tex-perts emailed us the next day or so a detailed quote for replacement unit options. They have not been pushy or bugging us with sales calls since. In the meantime I've checked with about 5 other companies and thus far Tex-perts and one other company has the best price and options.

Overall, I believe the technician was well trained and knew what he was talking about, although I am skeptical that I need to replace the entire unit.

The technician was punctual and professional in his work. He explained to us how the system worked and the quality of the unit. He also provided us with information about potential concerns for this system. We were very pleased with his professionalism and the very low price of this "big deal".

Techician excellent and knowledgeable. My husband was very satisfied with the technician's service. We had disappointed with a previous company's service. It seemed they were taking advantage of us and prices were high.

The service individual was awesome and said he'd come back and do some rewiring as he didn't like what he saw. Said there were no safety issues just his perference...

The serviceman was punctual, pleasant, knowledgeable and thorough! He provided excellent guidance and information on regular routine maintenance. Unlike other competitor service companies we've used in the past, Tex-Perts didn't try to hustle us and sell us on an array of other products that we didn't want or need. We are very pleased with their service and purchased a maintenance service contract with the company for a summer and winter tune-up/check. Recently Tex-Perts contacted us for our winter servicing on the maintenance contact. Edgar was our technician again and once again he was great! Excellent customer service, punctual, knowledgeable, thorough and a real nice guy.

The service was prompt and the technician was concerned about getting the problem fixed.

Overall a good experience. The owner was willing to work with us on financing options, and the technician we dealt with was professional and provided sound advice. I'd use Tex-Perts again.

I called Tex-Perts back in June of this year and had them come out and evaluate our home for replacing the existing duct work that was in very bad shape. We also needed them to reconnect the existing indoor and outdoor units. The outdoor condensing unit was unhooked by Tex-Perts and paid for separately in order for the foundation to be repaired by another company. Tex-Pert's owner, Craig did the evaluation and called me a few days later with the estimate of $2,900 for this work. I called my husband and told him the price and he agreed to have it done. Craig did not give me a written quote, which I'm ashamed to say I didn't insist on. The quote was only over the phone. We were not ready to have the work done until this December and and two weeks before we had the duct work installed, someone came into our yard and stole the entire outside condensing unit. When Tex-Perts came out to perform the duct work, i told them we would need to get a price on a new indoor and outdoor unit due to the theft. Craig said he would work us up a quote and email it to us, which he never did. The two men team did a great job installing new duct work and it took close to two days to complete. A couple of days after the install, I got a call from the office person at Tex-Perts asking me how I would like to pay for the job. I told her I could give her a credit card over the phone, but when she told me the amount, it was $1000 more than the amount we had originally agreed on. I told her there was a mistake and told her how much the original quote was. She said she would talk to Craig and he would call me. A couple of days later he called me and said the original quote was indeed 3,800 and had he known there was an issue with the price, we could have ironed it out before the work was done. I told him there was no issue as far as I was concerned and I was sticking by the original quote price. He said he would look over his notes and get back with me. I called him several times over the next few days and left messages for him to call me. He did not respond for another day or so and then called my husband and said he would honor the quote I "thought" he gave me! There is no doubt in our minds as to what was quoted, and it absolutely was not $3,800! We would never have agreed to this as we had gotten a quote from another company for the same work and it was $3,400. My advice to anyone reading this is to make sure you get your quote in writing!!!!!!!

They were very informative and only did what needed to be done. They had suggestions for me as far as taking care of the unit before this happened again

Basic check and all was well, I knew the general condition of my system and he confirmed it. No surprises and it was a fair assessment on its condition. No hard sales pitches were provided either, which is a big bonus. It'll keep this very jaded A/C customer happy as I've been through a few other providers that really bothered me with their high dollar and agressive sales tactics. The tech didn't try to do anything more than what I wanted, so they win more business from me.

The technician performed the inspection of the A/C and flushed the system. He gave us tips on how to maintain the system and keep it cooling efficiently during the hot summers. He was very professional, courteous and prompt. I would use this company again for service.

The technician was thorough and professional. He detected a small problem with the compressor, gave us a recommendation, and was able to give us a rough estimate of what it would cost to repair.

The gentleman was very nice but what they had to do was to get this pipe and connect it for two hundred sixty-eight dollars. I have already paid for it to this other company so I paid double for it. I think their price is a little bit high but I am sure they are all the same.

We initially bought the $59 Angie's list deal for a 24-Point A/C Tune-Up and One Pound of Refrigerant. The technician arrived on time and after inspecting the unit noticed the drain pipe was clogged so they cleaned it and show us how to maintain it to prevent future problems.

Went well. They were very thorough and explained everything through visit.

Great, will definitely use them in the future!
